Negative experience: Appalling service. Multi-gym was faulty. Engineer turned up, sprayed some oil. Charged £160. Then disappeared indicating it needed a new part which he would order and fit. 6 weeks later he’s ignoring all my messages and is ghosting my calls. Avoid at all costs is my recommendation. Appears to be a scam artist.

Negative experience: My experience with Gym Service UK, run by a sole engineer named Jamie, was nothing short of frustrating. I urge anyone considering their services to think twice before proceeding. Here's a breakdown of why: 1. Promptness without Purpose: Jamie was quick to respond to my initial inquiry and eager to schedule a visit. Unfortunately, the punctuality ended there. 2. Lofty Call Out Fee: The £160 call out fee seemed steep, but needing my gym equipment repaired, I agreed, under the condition that the fee would cover diagnosis and the initiation of repairs. 3. Shallow Diagnosis, Steep Costs: When Jamie arrived, he spent all of 20 minutes tinkering before declaring a vague 'electrical issue'. His quote for the 'required' part and installation was an additional £250. 4. Ghostly Presence: After paying the call out fee, Jamie became almost spectral - no return calls, no replies to texts, as if he had vanished into thin air. 5. Misleading Assurance: During his brief inspection, Jamie assured me of a return visit with the necessary parts. A month later - nothing. No explanation, no part, no service. 6. Second Opinion, First-rate Service: Out of desperation, I contacted another repair service. In stark contrast, they diagnosed the problem accurately (which turned out to be a minor issue) and resolved it for a mere fraction of what Jamie quoted. 7. Silent Tactics: Despite multiple attempts to reach out for either service completion or an explanation, Jamie has maintained a maddening silence. 8. A One-Man Mirage: This 'company' now seems more like a mirage designed to draw you in and leave you high and dry after collecting that first fee. In conclusion, Gym Service UK promises much yet delivers little— a veritable workout in wasted time and money. Users be warned: Jamie's "service" will likely leave your gym equipment, and your wallet, in worse shape than before.

Negative experience: An honest assessment of the service we received from Gym Service UK. 1. Contacted Jamie at Gym Service UK to enquire about call out charge to come and inspect our home treadmill. 2. Jamie responded promptly, said it was £120 and we arranged an appointment which was done very efficiently. 3. Jamie arrived on time, on the day of the appointment. 4. He spent 25 minutes at our property. 5. He advised the main switch board was damaged and needed replacing. Cost = £205 on top of the £120 call out charge. Total charge = £325. 6. Then that was it. No more communication despite many text messages from me asking what was going on. 7. In then end I got another company to come out and inspect. They said the motor had gone but not to worry as this was covered under a life time warranty with Horizon. Gave details for the Horizon parts supplier who I called and charged me £242 in total for a new main circuit board and a running deck! £80 less and with a new running deck! If I did not know better I would think that Jamie's "Gym Service Repair UK" company was just a one man band with a website who goes to innocent people's houses with a tool bag and charges £120 for doing nothing! You decide before contacting Jamie.

Jamie arrived when he said he would, had a thorough investigation of the machine and concluded the failure was due to one of two possible faults. One was curable, the other would not be. He ordered the part required and notified me about a week later when it had arrived. Fitted the item a couple of days later and the treadmill has worked fine ever since. He even suggested a few routine maintenance items I should attend to. Overall, I was happy with Jamie, the service and the price.

Negative experience: AVOID This "company" (its actually a one man band) is a SCAM. I had the misfortune of calling Jamie out to fix my treadmill. He turned up, had a quick look at it and charged me £100. Said he would return with a part needed to fix my treadmill and that I wouldn't be charged for the 2nd visit. I trusted him and paid. Its been 3 weeks and he has ignored my phone calls, Texts and Emails. He cleanly had no intention of coming back or fixing my treadmill. Don't be fooled by this scammer, do yourself a big favour, FIND SOMEONE ELSE! (the owner also likes to leave reviews for himself, as per the review below by Jamie) EDITED: the owner has replied, so thought I would too. as previously stated, Jamie has not made contact with me, its been 7 weeks now. I have also noticed all the FAKE reviews appearing. People of the internet, please do NOT be fooled by this scammer and his fake reviews. Its pathetic.
