Positive experience: Took my nippers on Sunday morning for a swim. It was nicely quiet. I thought it a little expensive but there you have it. My youngest was a little annoyed as the lifeguard wouldn't let her out of the tiny shallow end that was roped off as he didn't think she was a strong swimmer. She was as strong as other children but there you have it.

Fantastic experience: courts always ready, staff always cheery, couple of squeeky, bouncy, boards in the floor and chewing gum marks but never effects our games. easy to organise and v clean changing rooms.

Negative experience: The gym is too heavily focused on cardio equipment and does not have anywhere near enough free weights, benches or racks. Hardly any plates and what little equipment was available was extremely tired. Opening hours are unappealing as well. Halo have the potential to create an amazing gym with the correct investment and better use of space.

Positive experience: Slightly grubby. No sauna! Why not?

Negative experience: I used to love halo and what they had to offer, but it seems in recent years the facilities have declined and the prices dramatically inclined. Opening hours are not the greatest over the weekend making it harder for the average family to attend the gym and classes. Membership is pretty high for what they have to offer. Swimming pool is cold and no heating in drying area, with doors that open and let in all the outside air, it’s pretty cold for us adults, my son literally dithers hence we cancelled swimming lessons. It was too cold and not enough parent/family changing areas. And what are there are really not the cleanest. The jump in gym is filthy.! The equipment and the seating area. Fans are full of dust and cobwebs, as are skirting boards. floors needing a good hoover and mop. As a family we were spending well over £100 a month and found the state of the place, the lack of staff and the general facilities just weren’t worth it. Such a shame

Positive experience: I was a member for six months but cancelled it recently. The sound levels are way beyond what is safe. The gym music is extremely loud and extremely torturous, being the worst pop, rap, etc. Even with ear plugs in it felt loud. The indoor cycling session is even worse: so loud it hurts your ears. Totally unnecessary noise too because people can and will cycle to more peaceful or joyful music and without the constant barking noise of the people in the video. Why does it have to be like a noisy disco? The gym classes were also too loud and, again, the music was geared to younger people and quite grating. Perhaps they could have some set times when the gym, cycling and classes are quieter or more suitable for older people. The centre claims to wish to see a healthier community but ear health is completely neglected. Sanity too because it's that bad it was crazy-making.

Positive experience: This relates to the swimming facility only. I've used this pool a few times lately with my family, 2 of which are young grandchildren. It is a super facility for swimming with both training and general swimming areas in 1 big pool. Water level is about 1 metre max throughout (I believe) and is well supervised. Plenty of staff on hand to keep everyone safe is reassuring too. The facility is very clean and pleasant, shower and changing rooms are great, only let down is that the lockers don't all have working locks so you may have to leave it unlocked. Car parking is ample and very cheap too. All in all it is a super place to swim.

Positive experience: Came here to try out their softplay and badminton court. The softplay was said to be suitable for 3 months old and beyond. But I would say this is more suitable for toddlers and beyond. Meanwhile the badminton court is great. They do have benches for people to sit and watch, if you prefer.

Negative experience: I would not recommend Leominster leisure centre to anyone wishing to pay for just a shower. I’m not sure how they can get away with charging £4.90 for a shower. £9.80 for my partner and I to shower is ridiculous!

Positive experience: The gym here is clean and well equipped, theres a decent sized outdoor five a side pitch and the pool is good with a lot of changing rooms and plenty of lockers. Unfortunately the toilets smell and could do with a clean as could the showers.

Negative experience: The changing area next to the pool ALWAYS smells of wee and if you watch some of the male lifeguards you can see them taking the piss out of their customers

Negative experience: Swimming pool itself was perfectly fine. However, the changing area was dirty, the shower facilities are awful - half of the showers weren't working, the shower heads are all rusty and dirty looking, the floor felt slimy and worst of all, there are no separate male/female showers! How are you supposed to wash off all the Chlorine wearing your swimsuit ? + it discourages people from washing properly before they enter the pool.

Positive experience: We used the softly. It was super good. The kids loved i. The cafe was also quite good. They would have got 5 stars but it was pretty cold in the soft play. Each time i walked into the cafe it was so much warmer.

Positive experience: Reasonably priced and better public swim time for me than Hereford. Water quality is also better than Hereford's and the building is not boiling.

Positive experience: The G-kids have swimming lessons here, but there is a play gym, adult gym and loud of classes going on all the time, you can see them all on the web site. The only formal is that so many swimming lessons go on that public swimming is very tightly scheduled

Negative experience: Took my granddaughter to Leominster this afternoon. 1 toilet was out of order the other had a broken seat. The floor of the changing area has hair everywhere and while we were in the learning pool It stunk of pee so not happy at all

Positive experience: The Halo gym has great facilities with all the required machines needed for my workouts...it is sometimes very busy but that can not be helped and I accept it...nearly all the members of staff are extremely kind and helpful, Connor has helped me with specific muscles a few times, and the staff generally pop round for a chat now and then which is pleasant...however, Jade Harper is my only concern as I’ve heard over 10 complaints on her and I’d like to directly say that freeweights can be used by people under 16, especially when we have had permission from our schools or when we have used them in front of other instructors and they haven’t had an issue, many others have had this issue so I’d like to address it, thanks.
