Fantastic experience: This is probably the best gym I’ve ever visited. You can tell that whoever designed this gym works out as all the equipment is high quality and great to use. The membership options are also fairly priced with the option to cancel at any time. In my opinion this is the best gym in London, and as a personal trainer I’ve visited 100’s over the years. My only disappointment is they close at 7 on Saturday which seems too early. They’re also lacking a tricep extension machine.

Fantastic experience: Best gym near me - amazing quality machines. You can tell the staff really care about the gym - especially after the refurbishment. They use cybex, prime, hammer strength imprecor all good machines and a great section for boxing free weights etc

Positive experience: Just been refurbed and is improved. Staff are friendly for the most part. One star knocked off for the reduced opening hours at a weekend, and for the users who either try and hog 4 or 5 bits of equipment for a routine or else demand they cut into your workout so they can ‘quickly get in to do their set’. The gym should do more to prevent this intimidating behaviour. Otherwise, very good for the price.

Fantastic experience: Very good gym to train in

Positive experience: The staff and customers are friendly overall. The equipment I have tried is fairly good. What could be improved is the cleanliness specifically in the evening amongst other things. There are numerous Sanitiser machines but no disinfectant in most of them. Sometimes customers leave sweat on the equipment (and I mean a lot of it!) and this is not cleaned up. I did point this out to one staff member but he said he was not a cleaner, this is a gym and that cleaners would sanitise it the next day. There are no qualified personal trainers. There are only wannabees who pretend they know about fitness to hook up with pretty young women. They don't offer to help the majority of people and you can learn more from YouTube. Apparently there are 6 personal trainers in Nutfield gym. energie Fitness could do with some professional personal trainers. There are no fitness classes although there used to be and I believe this is losing the gym customers. There are multiple classes in Nutfield and rival gyms. If the above aspects were improved it would go a long way to making the gym a better place to go to.

Fantastic experience: *** UPDATED REVIEW *** Great local gym. Been going here for years. Very friendly and helpful staff. UPDATE: Recently this gym has rebranded to Lux fitness with many great improvements. Refurbished indoor facilities and new design. Lots of new equipment: 3 squat racks (2 of which have a DL platform), 1 smith machine, lots of dumbbells from 2.5kg all the way up to 70kg (before used to be 50kg heaviest dumbbell), 1 of each flat/decline/incline bench racks + 6 chest machines, 3 shoulder machines, seated dip machine, cable machines, about 5 back machines and way more.... Busiest hours are usually between 6PM and 9PM weekdays. Weekends are virtually empty. There are also several personal trainers here if you are interested. Overall, a great, clean and affordable gym.

Fantastic experience: Clean, friendly with lots of different equipment. Not crowded or annoying young people. I feel comfortable here, my regular. Free Parking. Not expensive monthly fees that can be frozen if busy.

Positive experience: Good. But needs later & earlier opening times on weekends. Sat & Sun both open at 8am & finish at 7pm

Negative experience: AGGRESSIVE STAFF - Completely unprofessional. These Energie franchises have good equipment however they employ people at minimum wage that don't know what they're doing. A bunch of 'fitness' wannabes only interested in aesthetics and vanity... thats where fitness begins and ends for some of these 'health professionals'.

Fantastic experience: Tiny and basic gym, not fancy but very friendly. The Boxercise and Yoga classes are great with brilliant instructors.

Fantastic experience: Very friendly and easy going staff. Pretty good selection of machines( all in perfect condition) , good music. Only thing that I would like to point out is the number of squat racks : 2 ( 1 full cage 1 small one), could add another one. Highly recommended!

Positive experience: Although it is quite a small gym, it's clean, functional and well equipped. The staff aren't approachable (which, for me, is the biggest let down), but membership is cheap and there is a good variety of classes.

Fantastic experience: It's newly refurbished and there are loads of machines, separate cardio room, separate punch bag room, several classes upstairs Aircon is efficient now. It is very clean, well equipped with free weights and owners usually on site, friendly staff, nice and light with lots of windows to let the sun in while you work out. Some off-street parking and near bus routes. Excellent and friendly gym.

Fantastic experience: Ok.

Negative experience: Advert says "no contract" however when I cancelled my membership I was fined for not giving 30 days notice - so the advert shows false advertising as technically this is a 30 day rolling contract. EVEN WORSE around 6 months after I had cancelled my membership they started taking my money again! I saw on my bank statements that they took 4 payments and I had to phone them a few times to eventually get my money back. CHECK YOUR ACCOUNTS EVERYONE!

Fantastic experience: Staff are friendly and helpful. I like that the gym has a chilled out atmosphere. Equipment is mostly good. It's a small gym but relaxed and also easy to get to as central Enfield town.
