Fantastic experience: Really like coming here. I switched up my gym membership from a previous gym and glad I did. The variety of equipment and free weights means you are rarely left waiting to use anything you might need for your workout. The sauna and steam rooms are a nice post-workout to complete a visit. And the amount of classes you can book on to mean you can really mix up your sessions each week. Showers could be hotter would be my only critique, I don't think they generate enough heat sometimes.

Fantastic experience: The classes at the village gym dudley are really what makes the club a great community! The staff are always happy to help or assist you in anyway that they can. Credit to chloe who's always available no matter what the quirey maybe and a manger that actually calls you back after leaving a message. Great atmosphere! Great staff! Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I was a member for 22 years and only left because I moved away. I was back in the summer for 2 months so of course I had to rejoin. It was lovely to see so many old friends and the new classes were fantastic. I lfelt like I was home again!!! Rachel on reception desk was so helpful and professional as were Kirsty and Beth when it came to recommending classes to me. I will definitely be back when I'm in town again.... wonderful gym highly recommended

Negative experience: Can never get through to any staff over the phone, machines are out dated everyone is fighting for machines as there’s so few and the swimming pool, sauna area is closed off till “further notice” but still I pay my membership fee. Great!

Fantastic experience: Staff at the village are all friendly and courteous, the gym has some fantastic facilities. I’ve never really been into classes but have recently been doing the box and burn class which I love. I have really found my love for the gym again since joining … and just a quick mention that Rachel & Claire have been fabulous and answered any questions I’ve had. Nothing is too much for the staff here. Definitely worth a join x

Fantastic experience: Thank you everyone for your hard work arranging the village members party last week end, great turn out as usual even though quite a few people were on holiday. I think my personal favorite is the Xmas party when there is always a great atmosphere lots of glitz& glam.The summer one could maybe a bit more low key with lots of summer/ holiday tunes, strawberries and ice cream. If you are looking for, a great gym with loads of offers join the village dudley or the village in your area . Great equipment. Great teachers and friendly staff. Lovely manager there too who is always willing to stop and have a chat with you

Negative experience: After only being a gym member at Dudley for Les than 3 weeks I am horrified,as the first day the sauna door came off, and this Saturday or Sunday afternoon then steam room door shattered and all the glass went into the swimming pool so it has had to be emptied and is not in use at the moment, I was told people have been saying to the staff and management that the door will not close properly so after leaving it for so long it's Finley shattered were gym members walk and swim luckily no one was hurt, management and staff should be held accountable for the lack of response in getting the door fitted before the this happened, I am strongly thinking about cancelling my membership.as I don't want to get hurt there,

Fantastic experience: Always a pleasure visiting this place for its gym, pool and sauna facilities. The team are a wonderful bunch and super friendly. The personal training sessions are quite personalised and the trainers are very knowledgeable. I cannot thank Nathan and Beth enough for their constant support and friendly approach to keep me motivated and going in my fitness journey!

Negative experience: Been at the pool for almost 2 years on and off but the cleanliness now is worth than ever. For 2 days in the row the water is dirty with bubbles near the kids pool. People who doesn’t shower after they used the steam room or sauna room. The person who’s supervising the pool looks very tired and fed up with his job, trying to stay awake without to care about anything else. There isn’t any kind of information on how to use the facilities, people are scrubbing there bodies inside of sauna or steam rooms. It’s disgusting and in the same time how is hygienic to use the pool like this, how can I take my kids

Fantastic experience: I have to say what a great experience I had. I decided that it was time to try and get healthy, so I visited the Gym at the Village Hotel. Chloe the manager helped me with the application and showed me round the facilities, very impressive. She made it very simple and easy for me. She’s a credit to them.

Fantastic experience: Managed to find a Groupon for 2 adults and 2 kids to have a day pass which works out much cheaper, £15 per person is a bit steep just to take the kids as a one off so this was perfect. Staff was very friendly and the place seemed quite clean. We only used the pool and some parts could do with a bit of a clean around the tiles but all in all was lovely. Looking around the pool area seems like there is a lot of dead space where maybe there could be another jacuzzi or just something apart from nothing. Little bits aside it was great and if I had more time I would think about a monthly membership just not for me at the moment.

Our Instructors are class keep us motivated with a great variety of classes.. big shout outs to Beth, Nath, Sanchez, Tom, Chloe , Rachael and Toni for making our gym and fitness classes fun and so enjoyable

Fantastic experience: The best gym by a country mile. Its like a big family. Beth, Sanchez, Nathan and Tom amazing classes. Absolutely incredible at what they all do and have supported me so much. I have done 12 this week. Chloe who runs it. Rachel, other Chloe etc on reception just all lovely and welcoming. Be good to see Kirsty back soon after maternity. Paul and the other cleaners are brilliant I was paying double this at david lloyd and it was nothing like this. With all the social events etc too New burn studio last year, the pool area has all been done out. Whats not to love. Made some amazing friends. I go every morning monday-friday without fail. Love the place. Even upstairs in the bar. Great staff, atmosphere and food Village dudley family ❤️

Fantastic experience: Clean, fresh and some decent classes available too. The squash courts, pool, sauna and steam room also comes in with the price which makes it really good value. Staff are all friendly. The Manager Chloe is a gem and always willing to go that extra mile.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a member just over 12 months and I love it here! The facilities are fantastic; Chloe and the fitness team have put in a lot of hard work to get brand new equipment in and a varied timetable of new and updated releases of classes; I can see a major difference in the year I’ve been there. All the club staff are friendly and approachable, which was an important factor for me deciding to join Village Dudley - I have used other Village clubs before and found staff not to be as receptive, which put me off joining Village Dudley for years. Also, huge shout out to the PT team, especially Beth who has personally supported me in my fitness journey - with her help I have managed to lose weight, build muscle, tone up and maintain it for the first time. She has tailored my weight loss program in a way that keeps it enjoyable and consistent, is very knowledgeable and has a fun personality. Along with Sanchez, Nathan and Tom, they are a huge asset to the club and have time for anyone that needs help reaching their goals

Negative experience: Very basic gym not in a very good condition. Everything is based around classes but the gym is very dated missing so many machines. Be careful of the 90 day cancellation fee as well very sneaky I expect nothing less from this company machines are ways broken and stay that way for weeks.

Positive experience: The gym area is fantastic, the members are sensible ,helpful and good to be around, as all gyms you get the oddball who thinks he's tenmen, but they keep themselves to themselves...the facilities are great, but the management are so one sided, Once you have joined you get no rewards ,benefits or leeway in any decision..if you wish to leave they force a 3month payment before they allow you to leave, if not they get firms in to recapture "their" money, people I know who left have had this forced on them... ..They give priority to the women members, when alterations happened the women had the mens room while their dressing rooms were altered and then, when complete had their own when the mens were done, the men had to change in the family room,the whole time which is so small with 2 showers if I remember right..and it's an awful cramped experience...once again alterations are happening and the same rigmarole is happening. Currently the pool area is being refurbished, but people who use the pool as their exercise have no alternate means but to freeze their membership, which costs a tenner, or as they say ,"use walsall", What a poor alternative....when you talk to staff about the change you can tell they have been briefed to tow the line, they are great people, who help us everyday, but management are allegedly ruthless with them....Once they got you as a member you get nothing...e.g, at Xmas special deals ,cheap membership etc never gets passed to the current members..its a joke...the reason why we stay? Because the members make it worthwhile and purposeful..

Negative experience: So I've been going here for a 2 months now. Showers hardly get cleaned. Hair everywhere. Toilet roll holder was broken and the they fixed the issue by completely removing it. Toilets have no toilet roll. Furthermore more it stinks of piss in entire changing room. Due to toilets not getting cleaned. Spa facilities pretty basic. Not worth the money.

Fantastic experience: As a pensioner, I found the staff friendly and helpful, the equipment excellent plus the added value of a decent pool and sauna. I've yet to try any classes but my first impressions are very positive!

Positive experience: Staff are friendly, plenty of classes to choose from and the pool is warm most of the time. But the jacuzzi can be a bit too hot at times. Gym equipment is great. Facilities are clean and well kept. Would recommend.

Fantastic experience: Visited as a guest of a full member, the gym was clean and well presented. Staff on the front desk were very helpful. The gym was well laid out and the staff were friendly and attentive. Machines were clean and in good working order. Parking was good. An hour well spent.

Negative experience: NO STAR FOR THIS PLACE. IF I WAS YOU THINK AGAIN. FOR THE PRICE WE PAY EVERYTHING IS OUT DATED. EITHER BROKEN OR NOT WORKING. STEAM ROOM HAS NO STEAM. SAUNA THE BENCHES BROKEN. GYM EQUIPMENT OUTDATED. WATER MACHINES COULD DO WITH THE FILTERS CHANGING. SHOWERS ARE MEANT TO HAVE PRIVACY SCREENS BUT DUE TO HOW OLD THEY ARE ITS WORN OUT. THE LIST GOES ON. AFTER 12 MONTHS I KNOW WHERE IM GOING...

Positive experience: I've just started back after a year of living away. Classes are brilliant so far, I loving Thai chi with Craig! Pilates with Julie and Aqua with Tina is fun too! I'm Yet to go to other classes. Facilities are OK. Could do with more hooks for the showers, some taps are missing in order to turn some on. Pool can often be cold and steam room has issues. Gym is clean plenty of equipment. Is relaxing and friendly.

Negative experience: BE VERY AWARE!!! When you sign up for a year presuming your can cancel your contact after 12 months, if you don’t advise of cancellation before the end of the 12 months you are then told there is a 3 months cancellation period!! Sneaky!!! AVOID!!!!

Positive experience: Hotel and bar is nice, the gym is decent but the gym male toilets need looking at for the smell. Bar staff got my food order wrong and the waiter didn't seem to like that i spoke up. But sometimes little things happen, still i rate at 4 stars

Fantastic experience: It's a friendly place with good facilities, but the parking for disabled people is disgustingly poor, nobody monitors the spaces so anyone park there and it's not good enough.

Negative experience: I really wanted to join this gym so glad I never now from all the bad reviews I been seeing I had a few one day session they charge £20 pound for a session what a joke it’s not even worth it ..To many school kids and toddlers what use the swimming pool there is no room to swim the weight area is rubbish over crowded the sauna and steam room is always packed with old ppl it’s ashame with the cost of membership not worth the money

Negative experience: Don’t go on a Wednesday morning, same member of staff who opens up but always late every Wednesday which means your workout gets cut short for work. No apologies, nothing. I’ve handed my notice in but there’s a contract and when that’s complete I have to give 3 months notice! I’ve cancelled and they can do what they want, they want to chase me for the remainder of my contract? Well make sure you open on time as per my contact.

Negative experience: I paid a premium so I could terminate my contract when I needed as I work away alot. I didn't realise that u still have to pay for 3 months after u have made the cancellation. So what am I actually paying for? I also noticed on a number of times they have put to much chlorine in the water they admitted it once but it kept on happening to be honest. I also found they have far to many members and its always busy. So after cancellation they suck another £171 out of me for nothing laughable.

Negative experience: I do feel that the personnel at village gyms (especially the management) is really unhelpful in terms of any memberships enquires, each person provides different information and they do not act according to the terms and conditions of the contracts. I would not recommend that place to anyone...

Fantastic experience: Fantastic gym been a member for 4 years now absolutely love the classes great team member s and support off the management keeping me motivated I do however feel Sánchez salmon has pushed me to levels in fitness and confidence with personal training I would never have gone into the gym on my own but now love it he has helped me achieve my goals full of knowledge support and advice big thankyou
