Fantastic experience: Nice fun for family

Fantastic experience: Great pool for the children. Very busy on an in- service day. There are quieter times, like early on a Sunday.

Positive experience: It's really nice fun slides and my 5 year old brother loved it he is begging to go again we are definitely coming back this weekend 4 star because the showers are to small

Fantastic experience: My 2 year old boy really enjoyed the wee paddling area for toddlers.

Negative experience: We were at swimming pool today with our elderly mother we wanted her to relax. We were racially attacked by a group of young children The young peoples so much fun insulting us and didn't want to end it. We reported it to the staff who take care of it !!!

Positive experience: You pay for 1.5 hours of swim time. There is a kids section, two water slides, a lazy man river, lane pool and cafe upstairs.

Fantastic experience: The pool was mobbed! Mind you it was the school holidays. Grand daughter was in for lessons in diving and tumble turns. The instructor was excellent and patient and has really helped her progress. Only one small grumble was that blue badge parking instructions were NOT clear. So we parked in the disabled bay and took the parking ticket in with us to show reception. The receptionist asked to see the blue badge which of course was on display in the car! To then ask us to trail back out to the car to bring the badge in to show her was just ridiculous given that blue badge holders are poor walkers!! You need to give clear instructions to disabled drivers in the car park, not expect them to yo yo back n forth...its hard enough walking on the flat not up a steep ramp.

Positive experience: Been here many times, my son lives it. Down side is it can be busy and not enough family changing rooms but apart from that it's a decent pool with lots to do for kids, downside no cafe to eat at but there is a large viewing area, outdoor pool has been drained and closed for how long is unknown

Negative experience: Regardless of the claim that it has more people visiting than ever before, I was struck at how tired it was and how dirty the changing rooms were. Possibly the dirtiest I've ever experienced. One cubical smelled of urine and the floor generally hadn't seen a wash down all day it seemed! Other pools I've been to have staff that look after the changing rooms to keep them as clean as possible throughout the day. Is that too much to ask for? Dissapointing.

Fantastic experience: Easily the best fun pool in Scotland! Very cheap entrance and not overly crowded.

Negative experience: Chaotic, loudly and not so clean. Went here to get a good time with the family. Was really disappointed with this place. However the staff is friendly. But since it were so much people and all the time different signals were sound together with people and kids screaming it was not good and quiet place. Also there were puke next to the slides and the personal didn't have time to get it away. Also big notice, too few showers and not a single one that is closed for privacy. Also the changing rooms are to small.

Fantastic experience: Had a great time here. Very clean and a good area for kids too.

Positive experience: Lots of space and activities to entertain the kids. Easily accessible with lots if parking and friendly staff. The building is tired but still serves its purpose.

Fantastic experience: Great pool for the kids, it can be busy so anticipate queuing. The queue is managed well though and you don't have to wait too long. Queues for the flooms are similarly decent and we never had to wait for more than 5 minutes or so. Prices are decent.

Fantastic experience: A wee bit of a drive for us! But the kids absolutely love this pool. It is great for the age differences between them. A bit disappointed that the outdoor pool was shut, but still lots of fun

Positive experience: It was a long wait to get through to the pool as only 1 member of staff at the front desk at opening time, not ideal. Starting to look tired and run down. Not great shower facilities at the fun pool for getting washed after a swim with children. But they enjoyed it and had fun which is the important bit.

Fantastic experience: I used to go here as a kid on holiday from Brum in the 90s. I loved this place so much and still have very fond memories of it. Sorry to hear it's not what it used to be, but it was so much fun back then and still looks so much better than anything around here nowadays that I'd still recommend it despite not being there for over 20 yrs

Positive experience: I loved this place as a child and I love it just as much as a father. Making swimming fun for children is so important and Perth Leisure pool manages this brilliantly, for kids of all ages. The range of classes and lessons available suits our needs perfectly.

Positive experience: Got a lot of good memories of coming here when I was younger, sadly its all looking a bit tired now. The staff at the front desk try really hard but seem to be left on their own a lot which seems to cause quite a bit of frustration from the inevitable queue of people looking to get in.

Negative experience: Checked website that said the pool was open 10 until 8 so took my boys through from Dundee only to be told there were times sessions and we wouldn't get in for another hour and 20 minutes. Wasted fuel and 2 disappointed kids. Beware of Incorrect or misleading information on the website. No wonder it's closing down.

Positive experience: Overall an ok experience. It gets a lot of people through the door because it's the only one of its kind around, but there's a significant state of disrepair around. I understand not wanting to heat up an outdoors pool in January, but it was still disappointing that none of the jacuzzis (not even the one in the health suite) were working. We were looking for a bit of fun and relaxation and instead we found heavy political monologues in the sauna (not the centre's fault but it added to the experience), ran down environments, faulty equipment, and nowhere to sit down and have a snack/drink once you've been in the pool. e.g. You're telling me that if I just need a drink from the vending machines I need to change out if my bathing suit, have my drink, and then change back into it to go into the pool?! This place could be absolutely brilliant if it was maintained and managed properly, but it seems to have stayed in the past. It was brilliant before having tried other places like this one across Europe, but seeing how easily others can make waterparks brilliant places all year round, makes it a bit sad that this one doesn't seem to be keeping up.

Negative experience: Arrived 10:10 and got into pool 10:20. Forced to leave 11:00. No Flumes, No Outdoor Pool, No Jacuzzi, No Whirlpool. Rubbish value. Plus I am 100% sure that once you paid your parking, you would be let out automatically without scanning again at exit. When did this change!

Positive experience: Booked into the Spa but no sauna or hot tub. Outside swimming also closed

Positive experience: The place was amazing this was my 2nd time I loved this place but its a 4 cuz at the swimming we were itchy then when I got home I was covered in red spots and everything think it was cuz of the pool water because I have been to lots of swimming places and 1st and they haven't been like this pls fix it

Fantastic experience: Went with my daughter and two grand children. I wanted a swim and went to the training pool. When I came back I played with my 3 year old grandchild in a children's area with crocodiles and monkeys. He played on slides. Later we went to the leisure pool and the River Rapids, the bubble beds and enjoyed the water. We also had a turn or two on the.flumes. My daughter and granddaughter had a good time too. We stated in the pool for quite a while and they went on an inflatable in the training pool. We also enjoyed the small pool with the watering cans.

Positive experience: Nice friendly staff roof girders could do with lik of paint rusting needs some tlc other wise all good

Positive experience: Kids had a great time and the free parking on a Sunday was a really nice surprise. Feel like it needs up dated as its still the same from when I was a kid ( 20 ) years ago. A few missing tiles in the pool as well.

Positive experience: Clean, some facilties not available, have been for some time. Staff polite and friendly but, showing signs of age and wear and tear.

Negative experience: Ten years ago the pool complex required to be upgraded and all the rust and growth of moisture related issues on the block work walls. This has still not been done so not sure why it is still open. There are ways to harness all the warm moist air and re-use it !!!!

Positive experience: Check the website as they have set swimming times during term time don’t rely on the Google entry of opens at 10am as that’s not the full story.

Fantastic experience: Took the family here, it was very well priced and the parking was super cheap. We ended up being there for three hours and we were free to just spend as much time as we wanted. Facilities were great with loads to do.

Positive experience: The price of a ticket has gone up but the quality has gone down. Cold jacuzi, cold sauna and steam room,unmanned health suite, no disposable cups. Will take a while before we visit again.

Positive experience: Good facility.. leisure pool fairly large with 2 kids areas and outdoor part. 2 flumes and rapids. Length pool rarely open to use due to schools etc but site has small gym and health suit with sauna. Dated but still going strong.

Positive experience: Great pool with flumes, rapids and cannons at intervals. Also an outdoor area and a separate pool for lane swimming if that's your thing. Does get pretty busy at times though.

Fantastic experience: Everything was fine, stuff helpful, water temp perfect for us. The only cons is the fact that you can't stay longer than 1 hour ( or have I misunderstood something)?

Positive experience: A busy popular swimming centre. Lots of aquatic amusements. Could do with a proper cafe serving coffee, drinks and snacks. Do good kids parties.

Positive experience: A good sized pool with an outdoor area and plenty to do. The staff here were friendly and helpful. I think the thing letting this pool down is cleanliness. The changing area had a layer of dirt/mud/water all over the floor and the pool had mess floating in it as well. I went on a Saturday and I also found it a little bit too busy to be fully enjoyable.

Positive experience: Great for the kids, very helpful staff. Split into several pool, depending on how you wish to swim. A few busy bodies around, who like to question you and family.

Fantastic experience: What a fantastic facility. So clean and we'll staffed. Fabulous for kids. Nothing closed or broken like you get elsewhere. Well worth the visit

Negative experience: Went their today for the first time. Absolutely disgusting this place! Changing room floors full with hairs, dirt and other stuff! Nobody ever bothers to clean the place. Far too many people, resulting in water totally filthy, rust everywhere. This place is ridiculous to be even allowed to be open!

Negative experience: The positives are that the depth of pool is good and it has plenty of features. It was busy but that is to be expected during the summer holidays. The staff were also friendly and happy to exchange coins for 50p to use the lockers. There was also lifeguards everywhere that seemed to be keeping a vigilant eye on the water. There were a couple of negatives though. The first was the announcements were difficult to understand and the sirens that played after left me with a headache. The next was the lack of showers and I had to wait in a queue before using the showers. The final issue which is the main problem I had was there was so many dead flies in the pool. While it wasn't too bad within the indoor pool, the outdoor pull was covered in large dead flies floating on the surface of the water. Once I noticed one, I could see so many. This was extremely off putting and cut the session short as no matter where I was in the pool, every few minutes I would be trying to move away flies.

Fantastic experience: I always really love this pool. Great for kids and lots of variety in activity. For adults there is a health suite I highly recommend with a few additional amenities and better showers. Note that in summer this leisure pool is especially busy so if taking kids be sure they know what to do/where to find you if lost.

Fantastic experience: Excellent day out with my 4 year old park outside,40 min, pool, with excellent family toddlers area, lazy river, shoots, out door area, one and half hours then back to park outside area for picknick

Fantastic experience: Been going here for years. Hasn't changed at all. Still love it. Very busy. Always well staffed. Never have to wait long to get in. Although I do miss the cafe. And being able to sit and have a drink after the swim. First time I have been and outdoor pool closed.

Fantastic experience: First time here with my granddaughter (5YO). She thoroughly enjoyed herself. Chute, flume, water cannons, swim inside and out. It's worth a visit. Armbands were available for borrowing and a good paddelingarea for younger children also. Nice area for spectators also.

Fantastic experience: Very crowded. Didn't feel safe with soo many in the pool. Facilities are excellent though. The grandchildren love it here.

Positive experience: Has 2 flumes, a gentle rapid area, nice temperature and enjoyable outside loop. Baby/kids looked fun. Floats avaliable but not really space for them. Queues for flumes not signposted but are separate for the 2 flumes. Good flumes, would enjoy more of them. We were a group of 2 adults and a 12 year old and not enough excitement

Positive experience: Great for kids, changing areas pretty dirty & no staff trying to clear all the excess water around changing rooms, when wearing outdoor shoes it's very slippy.

Negative experience: It looked a great pool but unfortunately they have an alarm to warn of things happening in the pool.and with an autistic child it didn't go down well so we were back out as soon as we got in

Fantastic experience: Went to leisure pool with three of my daughters and we all had a great time. There is nothing like like this close to home in Peterhead. Water temperature of 30degC and the air temprature was really warm too which was perfect. So much more fun than just a plain rectangular pool we normally go to. Helpful staff and loads of lifeguards.

Fantastic experience: So many fun events there. The waterslides are great fun and good exercise. Plenty of scheduled classes are available to book in for too. The early morning Aquafit is a great way to start the day. There are other times as well and all the instructors are great with excellent music to exercise along with.

Negative experience: Not a chance of a relaxing swim with kids screaming at all levels and in and around the pool area. As for the changing rooms what era are we living in, they are so outdated and in need of a serious update. And the temperature in this place is beyond hot. Why is it so hot I mean it was sweltering hot. Most people looked like they are gonna faint. So hot.. Well I've made another trip to the pools today and have noticed that the air-conditioning seemed to be pumping out trying to keep the centre at a reasonable temperature while you are sitting back and watching your child have a swim lesson. But to be perfectly honest it was still way too hot for my liking..

Fantastic experience: Kids love it and it's not expensive either. £15 for 5 of us. Always love going there.

Fantastic experience: Went this morning with our family. Really lovely pool. So many great things for the kids - dedicated baby pool, lots of different slides, outdoor pool, quieter shallow kids pool. The water temperature is great and showers are warm. Everyone had a fantastic time. Just to note, it was quite busy and we found the only food available is from the vending machines although there is a seating area with high chairs and microwave should you bring your own food. 100% a great day out. Very affordable and very fun!

Positive experience: Pool was a good temperature slides were good only things wrong with it was the changing rooms floor was wet and muddy and for a very large swimming pool there was only about 6 shower’s which is madness

Positive experience: A bit confusing figuring out how to get to the changing room but once your in its great. A large amount of the lockers, especially the big ones are out of order which is a pain when you have a baby with loads of belongings! Great pool though.

Positive experience: Swimming pool, slides and steam room were fab. Staff members working around the sauna/steam room and swimming pool were amazing, very helpful and friendly. Receptionist on the other hand seemed very unfriendly. As we came in, she stared point blank at us without any “hello”. No help from her whatsoever and as it was my first time visiting, first impression was definitely on the negative side. Although the leisure centre had lots to offer, it was waaaaay overcrowded. (We visited the centre on a Sunday) We only used steam room as there was not enough space for sauna or jacuzzi for everyone and waiting around in your swimwear wasn’t an option. Swimming pool was full of children and adults enjoying themselves, there was not enough space to swim around freely without kicking or grabbing someone by accident. Quite disappointing, paying for full leisure and not being able to use all the facilities due to how many people they let in.

Positive experience: Enjoyed watching my husband compete here on Saturday. Nice pool and kids pool. Disappointed that there wasn't a cafe in such a large facility. Plenty of vending machines, but not the same

Positive experience: We travel from Rosyth, its probably one of the best pools in Scotland. Flumes, slides, outdoor pool, rapids, waterfall, areas for all age's. Always busy, the pool has been the same for many years. Would be nice to see it been expanded. Has the potential to be a great indoor water park.

Negative experience: 1. Asking for 10p for a hairdryer once you’re out of the pool but no one makes you aware of this on reception so because we ended up with no money on the actual changing bit. I had my hairdryer on me tried to plug it in near reception and I’ve been told off when I was drying my kids hair!! I’m raging as she came back home with wet hair. 2. Nowhere on the car park it tells you you need to pay before leaving so we went to the barrier and you couldn’t pay in there that’s 30p was not worth us driving around looking for the paying machine. 3. Dirty pool with lots of leaves from the outside that should be cleaned last autumn. It’s spring and they’re still laying there.

Negative experience: Hey there, I’m genuinely sorry to write this but me and my kids visited Perth leisure centre earlier today and as we’ve come home the whole family has came home to obscure rash, upon further investigation we’ve discovered we have severe chlorine burns due to the levels of chlorine in the pool, my kids have been non stop itching as have me and my husband. I fear that other young children have been affected because I’ve seen first hand how it’s affected my children. honestly so disappointed as the kids normally love it here but this makes me think twice about going back.

Fantastic experience: Really love this place, great friendly staff which results in Happy relaxed customers. The past two January's we have swam in the outside heated pool and loved it. Thank-you for this super place.

Fantastic experience: Good fun. My son and I enjoyed both the slides pool and training lanes.

Positive experience: Have a live active card so discounts, entry fee depends on what is in operation, flumes, lazy river, outside pool etc . At its cheapest when just swimming. Swimming lessons, swimming club etc happen in the main pool everything else is in the leisure pools. Kids pools for very young. Plenty of different features to play with. Our favourite is swimming outside, it has the hottest water which makes it harder to swim back inside. There is an area upstairs which has a play area, seats and tables for snacks from various vending machines. People view all the pools from up here. You can buy a few items at the desk like swimming goggles. Changing rooms are cubicles so mixed, with lockers which need 50p coins to lock and it’s returned when opened. There are hairdryers available which run for one minute for 10p so bring coins. Everything is kept clean, especially the changing area. Expect leaves in the pool, they come in from the outside pool.

Positive experience: Used to love taking the kids here, always worth the 80 mile round trip. Good to see it still looking good

Positive experience: Always great to swim although today water was a bit.cold for the wee ones and the lack of a cafe we think let's it down.

Positive experience: This place is a great place to take the kids. It has an outside bit too which is warmer than the inside pool with an island that the kids can jump from into the pool. There are flumes, a lazy river and a jacuzzi pool up the back of the pool. My only bad points I would make is that on both occasions I’ve been at the weekend the jacuzzi is only on for a set time and then closed so if you’re not fast and notice it’s back on you’ll miss out on that I think it’s on for 15 minutes or so every hour or something like that. The other was that on the second occasion the flumes were shut for 30 minutes for some reason which isn’t ideal during a busy Saturday or Sunday afternoon. There definitely needs to be an improvement on the shower situation. There are about 6 showers for an entire pool! And only a few of them work which isn’t really a great experience when everyone is trying to get washed up and sorted at once. Other than these points it’s a lovely experience and one I’ll continue to take the kids to but definitely needs a better shower facility for afterwards.

Negative experience: Over the last few years the hygiene of the pool became really questionable. The place is dirty, rusty, smells horrible and there's rubbish floating in the water. Last time I went to the pool I came back with a fungal infection on my feet. People are allowed to wear underwear and normal clothes to the swimming pool. Most of the life guards are very young people who don't have any authority so they don't bother keeping the order. I witnessed a group of people rinsing the soap off by jumping into the pool covered in shampoo. It truly is terrible. Out of 6 showers 2 actually work.

Positive experience: Wee one loved the pool, only thing was there was loads of people in and then they put in the big floating things so u kept getting hit with them. You couldn't hear the announcements. Found out after there was people taking pictures in the pool which I didn't like the idea off....... Pool had loads of leafs from outside but other then that was quite clean, lots to do with kids in the pool and seems well looked after.

Negative experience: Pool closed. No one mentioned yesterday when phoned in for details. No mention on the website either. On Google maps still says it’s open. The only sign is at the entrance. My son is disappointed as was waiting for this day.

Positive experience: Changing rooms are tired - several lockers with broken door locks and the same for lockers. Great pool facilities although the indoor pool was full of leaves.

Negative experience: We arrived at 12.15 and were only allowed in the pool for 45 minutes as they only have timed sessions during the week. We got into the pool ok, warmer than other pools but found that there were plasters at the bottom of it. Then when we got out, no private showers nor any bags to put wet clothing in. 30p for parking is fine but would really help if the machines actually worked! Went to pay using my ticket given to me as I entered the car park only to be told there was a problem and another ticket would be given to me as I leave. Went to leave and get the other ticket but there was no way to pay on the machine, with either coins or card! Had to then go back to the original machine that refused my ticket and try it again and again until it eventually decided to work. Majorly put off coming back here after the fiasco.

Positive experience: It's no longer big enough to meet demand. It's busy most of the time, usually more than feels comfortable at peak times. Concerned at outdoor footwear being worn through changing areas for pool. Prices recently increased with shorter opening hours and no other obvious change to what's provided. Anything to eat is now from machines (when they work) - human touch all gone. Not saying you expect rosette standard food but coffee shop would be good. Frequently queues to get in and put on hold as too many people in pool.... Maybe time for online booking? Queue frequently out of door meaning open to elements! This is a good facility with training pools etc but it urgently needs replacing with something else more suitable to the demands on it

Fantastic experience: What a brilliant swimming pool. Family of 5 admitted for 2 hours for £15.10. Lots to do. Flumes on all day, river rapids, outdoor pool, water jets and a great infant pool area. If you are in the area visit this place. Kids will love it.

Fantastic experience: Great day for the kids, plenty to do, can spend a long time here, and with the playground right outside too, it's spot on.

Negative experience: Was OK. Travelled over an hour as my kids wanted to go on flumes and our local ish two pools have them off for the foreseeable. Unfortunately not likely to be back as the smell of urine in the changing rooms was unbearable!! Very disappointing

Positive experience: This pool has everything for all ages. My only gripe, as brilliant as the jungle pool is for the wee ones is that there is not enough space at the bottom of the slides and the kids hit themselves off the brown artificial rock edging. Other than that, great place to visit.
