Fantastic experience: Watched the boy play football , loads of fit went into the centre too

Fantastic experience: My grandson has swimming lessons here. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Classes are really good. My grandson is 10months and is making huge progress in the water. It is amazing that at such a young age he is confident in the water and learning safety in the water.

Negative experience: Membership was overpriced and trying to cancel was not straightforward either. Senior Reception staff were extremely unhelpful in this matter. The pool also often felt overcrowded after work. Would strongly recommend against joining. If you work at UHW like I did, there are better options available locally with more respectful staff.

Negative experience: Even after taking a full membership of 40 pound including badminton we need to pay 4.50 pound extra for one hour for the badminton if we need to play after 4 0 clock. I don't understand what kind of rule is this , then do we take the membership

Positive experience: The access to the function room was limited and so to get from the function room you have to go through the hall into the bar and then into the function room. Wasn't a nice place to be honest.

Negative experience: Very poor gym equipment. Ridiculous booking system in place. You must give 3 months notice to cancel a membership! Some staff members very harsh.

Negative experience: If I could give this place a no star review then I would, These guys only let you book via their telephone booking, however since December their phone either doesn't answer or goes straight to answer machine. I paid for three months and only got two months because I couldn't book. Gym is outdated anyway I recommend joining Pure gym or just literally any other gym because this one will probably give you the risk of catching tetanus from how old all the machines are

Negative experience: I am a member of the CMC Sports and social gym. Unfortunately the gym is in poor state, it's very old equipment which is potentially dangerous. I pay a monthly membership and wonder where my money is being spent. Everytime I go into the gym a different piece of equipment is broken. Im sure other members are very unhappy with the experience also.

Fantastic experience: Pool nice and quiet for swimmers and they also do special slots for families with floats etc during school holidays. Staff are great and there is also now a coffee shop opposite.

Negative experience: Been coming here over 15years, they havent refurbished much in that time so equipment is outdated to say the least, very quite most days and be would lucky to hit 30% occupancy even at their busiest, think some of the staff enjoy it this way as it means less work for them especially the heirachical staff who are probably semi retired and just want to come to work and go home doing as little as possible. Ive tried and throw business their way but if it means a little more work they're not interested so the place must be receiving sudsidies from somewhere without much accountability. The place needs a complete overhaul and change of ethos with staff who carry this down through the business. If i could give 0 stars i would.

Positive experience: I use the pool mostly. It is quite narrow and when one lane is roped off for lessons you can only have about five people in at one time if you hope to have a decent session. The later in the evening you can get there the better.

Negative experience: Had mums 80th birthday party there lovely place, disco ok and everyone enjoyed the party However, don’t order the food get your own caterers in or make your own. Price are a total rip off. Ordered for 50 people half of what was on the menu was missing, one bowl of crisps for 50 people would have been enough for 7 people. Rolls were ok nothing special, wraps were on the menu but there were none supplied, no dips or spring rolls. What was put up by the club wouldn’t have fed 30 let alone 50. Club needs too seriously look at what is being put up and described as catering for customers too eat appalling prices ridiculous.
