Fantastic experience: I’ve never been js heard it’s good

Fantastic experience: I attended an event in the community hall. It is a very nice centre with lots of amenities. People were playing badminton. Kids were enjoying themselves. Overall a very nice place to spend some time with your family or friends.

Positive experience: Located in a nice area where they have Badminton court available, Library, Studios near by GP, Food shop and car parking available. Street parking also available. a nice ground is opposite to Phoenix with basketball court and tennis court and. GYM Timings are not good enough as a lot of place do have extended times but here is only with limited timing with high price.

Positive experience: The Phoenix Centre is a solid EveryoneActive location. Equipped with a gym, a sports hall, a library and a cafe, the location is perfect except for the lack of a swimming pool. The centre is small but the sports hall caters to parties, badminton, basketball and more, making this a very good multipurpose place.

Fantastic experience: With ample parking ️, can shop around while visiting the phoenix centre or the GP.

Negative experience: After politely requesting a group of women to read to their children a little more quietly, I was rudely replied to in front of other individuals who were also disrupted by their commotion. I understand there is a section for children, but people should be more understanding of their surroundings.

Fantastic experience: Had my kids birthday party here today and was pleasantly surprised by the setup there for the bouncy castle and play area. The staff and manager were extremely polite and were very helpful. Would recommend this place for a kids party than the expensive ones around!

Positive experience: Had an active ants party for my child. The soft play and bouncy castle was really good, all the children had a good time. I wish the soft play part of the party could have been 30 mins longer. The room where we did the food and cake was a really nice space. I would recommend having a party here if you simply want the kids to play and have fun together, especially if they are under 5.

Positive experience: It's actually not too bad, I'm a new member for the gym. The car parking is actually really bad as there's only 2 disabled parking spots and then people park around the back so it's difficult to get out, it is pretty big though and the intro was very helpful with very nice gym equipment

Negative experience: I attended the softplay and my child was trapped on the bouncy castle that deflated. Staff admitted it was not tied down securely, incorrect equipment is used and this happens regularly. A child had the same experience less than 6 months ago. We are both traumatised. I thought she was going to suffocate. There were only two staff working in the entire centre and one cannot move from reception so the incident could not be dealt with effectively without other parents luckily intervening at their own risk. This was a major breach of safety. The management did not treat it with severity and are not upholding safety standards. They said they are not there to babysit! Safety with children should be vital. This should never happen and if it does should be a one off accident that is learnt from but it’s a regular occurrence. I will never go again. My child has nightmares still now.

Positive experience: Local fitness centre with a small library near a parade of shops. Has good jugs sports sessions and does birthday parties. Badminton and trampoline sessions etc

Positive experience: Great gym - never had a bad experience. Equipment is always working, staff are friendly and nice and it’s never too crowded!! Has its own car park outside too which helps massively.

Positive experience: The Arts and crafts session was running here (pre booked) which was in a very pleasant and friendly atmosphere. My daughter enjoyed it a lot.

Positive experience: Played badminton. The courts are fairly expensive, but the hall is fairly large with 4 courts. The area is pretty covid safe and well maintained.

Negative experience: Poor reception staff often make up rules as these go on shut for 4 months for athletes to run and sprint on but open to cheerleaders during covid 19pandemic ... not sensible.

Negative experience: Trying to find details of children's membership and swimming lessons. No mention of child aged under 11 on the website. searching for details of lessons puts you on a circular route to nowhere. Seems you can only find out anything if you are a member but does not give enough information to enable my child to join......

Positive experience: I came here to watch a few Muay Thai fights put on by KO South. The venue is a decent size. The guys running it were super friendly and really made me feel welcomed. The fights were really good too. I quite liked the venue and the event. Only critical thing I can say was that it took ages getting there.

Fantastic experience: Good venue for workouts in the gym, a range of different fitness classes, badminton and table tennis. There are many other activities for adults and children. You have to be a member to book in advance, but can bring 3 guests free of charge if playing badminton or table-tennis. There is a toddler session on some mornings which is great fun with half of the main hall covered with a big bouncy castle, various other soft toys and equipment. Free car park outside always has spaces available.

Fantastic experience: Small but wonderful. Perfect for leisurely sport activities and adjacent to a library. The badminton courts are getting dated and the lighting needs some further improvement. The gym is really good with lots of equipment and not that busy.

Negative experience: Staff (a brown haired woman between 30-50) who wouldn't give me her name was soooo rude. It's mind boggling how she has a job. The other staff members were less rude but "dim". There was no life or common sense between them. Facilities are ok, some dated areas but just a regular centre. Wouldn't go back here.
