Fantastic experience: This is the first gym I’ve been to that feels like a community. So many regular attendees who know and support each other. Great staff and facilities. Really well located for anyone who commutes into central London and wants to exercise before or after work.

Positive experience: Been there for 3 weeks. Good place to workout but the major problem is there is no weigh machine. Can't see the progress. Please place the weigh machine.

Positive experience: To be fair the staff are amazing. However the machines are broken for a long time before they are repaired. Stairmaster has been out of use for over a month now there is only one stair master and due to over use, is bound to break down at some point. It’s fair to say that the gym will need some investment to keep members from leaving.

Positive experience: Decent size and members and staff are respectful

Fantastic experience: It's a lovely place, a bit busy but it has a lot to offer. The price is cheep too

Negative experience: I go to this gym and therefore am not using my real name. On Saturday 20th April, a trainer by the name of Nevane was causing so much noice before his shift whilst speaking with a large group of guys occupying the whole bench area, laughing and screaming louder than the music that was playing. They weren’t even working out. As a woman, this makes me feel unsafe in this gym and intimidated, in an already male dominated gym, as I couldn’t even use the bench area during my workout due to all of them standing around there and occupying all the benches. Please can you look at making some kind of rule around this.

Fantastic experience: Been coming here for over a year now, friendly staff and made some really good friends as well. Been to a lot of gyms in the local area but this one has helped me the most in my fitness journey. Would 100% recommend!

Positive experience: The gym facilities and overall maintenance is fairly poor with no real improvements to equipment or maintenance to the building which is becoming more dilapidated in many ways since me signing up 4 years ago. This may be due to the lack of the owners knowledge in the fitness industry or be it lack of wishing to financially invest accordingly in the establishment to make it more appealing to all. Having said the above - I would like to praise the staff who are extremely lovely and professional and my main reason for not canceling my membership is the extra classes that are provided - in particular the professional trainer Jagoda's pilates classes are excellent and she provides a very friendly environment catering for everyone of all levels. The classes get soo busy that it is hard to find a spot in the small yard to put my mat!!! Jagoda should introduce more exercise classes if management should allow her to as I believe it will encourage more members to join and attend instead of wishing to cancel. Such a approach would also justify the current membership fees because the facilities are definitely not justifying it.

Negative experience: unprofessional management, the manager dean especially, run by cowboys. poor equipment, overpacked and not enough capacity. filthy, staff don’t clean the space properly. spend a little more money and go to a renowned gym with a better reputation. people sign up and leave soon after often, avoid avoid avoid,

Positive experience: I think the gym is good. Pros: - decent mix of equipment - friendly staff - location Cons - space feels a little small for the amount of equipment, stretching area and to generally walk through machines when heavily occupied - upkeep isn’t the best. Some flooring coming up etc. could do with a refurb - tidiness. probably more for the patrons than staff but returning equipment where it belongs is problematic. But for a budget gym it does the job for anyone looking for convenience and less bells and whistles.

Positive experience: Small gym, not ideal in the evening as busy crowds hit.

Negative experience: Gym is tiny and over crowded. Not enough machines. Only 4 benches. Gym staff are nice though.

Negative experience: Not sure about mornings but evening hours, dirty and noisy with very loud gang rap music which isn't for everyone. Seems like it's run by kids not interested in looking after the place. No paper towels, nothing to spray handles with. Maybe that's why this place is struggling to get some quality customers.

Negative experience: Dirty. Never cleaned properly. Toilets always blocked. Music extremely loud even my noise cancelling headphones cannot cancel out the terrible choice of music they put on

Positive experience: Good the gym clean and cheap for our pocket. nice crew members and helpful. Jagoda as PT is very good hard trainer and helpful person, always make me feel better with my self and help me to reach my goal.

Fantastic experience: It is very good, it needs a bit of cleaning and more charismatic employees

Positive experience: Very good gym with decent equipment and space plus it's open 24hrs! No complaints at all and plans start from GBP 20 per month so quite soft on the wallet!

Positive experience: Been going to Énergie for over 2 years now and boxing with Nevane for around 10 months now. The last 10 months have been incredible. Nevane is a patient, knowledgeable and flexible coach who always manages to bring out the best in his clients no matter what curveballs or roadblocks life puts in their way. Always a smile on his face, truly a great guy! Couldn’t imagine training with anyone better than Nevane.

Fantastic experience: The gym is amazing, lovely atmosphere, amazing energy, great pt’s especially Jagoda. Puts in so much time and effort with her clients and her gym. Gives it her all. Proud to be her client and proud of how much progress I’ve made in the little time I’ve spent with her

Fantastic experience: Inexpensive gym, which is open 24/7. Also very clean and a good variety of equipment.

Positive experience: For the size it has relatively good equipment. The punch bag area caters well for my needs. Changing room arrangement is not great but it’s the best solution considering the layout of the gym overall. Best thing about the gym is the staff, very approachable, very friendly & they all look like they train themselves well. 24 hr access is a big bonus too.

Negative experience: Dirty ,small place with very un- professional staff. I went to see the place and join and luckily didn't as the guy left me on my own to do the registration and never came so I didn't register and left the place.

Fantastic experience: Love this gym. The equipment is easy to use, various workout areas, classes and very friendly staff. Great for the membership and very affordable. Thinking this would be a great franchise investment for the future

Negative experience: My bank blocked payment to the club claim fraudulent activity and I therefore missed payments by 1 week. Without consulting me the club had a collection agency sending me emails and making phone calls about payment. I contacted Mike the assistant manager and was told that their payment system was automated and if you missed a payment your name would be automatically forwarded to a collection agency. He said there was nothing he could do about it. This is not a good way to do business.

Fantastic experience: It's small, when it is busy there is hardly any room, but that's the building, not much to do about it‍♂️ and they make the most out of it! Otherwise it is clean, and hygienic. Folks are cool and friendly here, you will feel welcome. Mike is very cool, no matter what he is always happy to help and assist.

Negative experience: Booked free introduction sessions. Come on time. But employees inside not even bothered to open doors. So spend 5 minutes outside in cold weather knocking doors and then go home angry. Will never comeback here or buy membership.

Positive experience: It has all the equipment you’d need, but the facilities are quite basic. There are no changing rooms and the mens toilets never have hand wash in them. The staff are friendly and helpful, a bit laid back, but you can’t expect loads from a budget gym. The smell has improved a bit

Positive experience: Good and clean gym. Just needs much more equipment, e.g has one unsteady pylobox that is hard to do jumps etc on. Def needs at least two steadier and safer ones. They don’t have kettlebells which are one of the basic equipments, so maybe the gym can benefit from KBs too. Otherwise, good place really.

Fantastic experience: cannot recommend Mike highly enough as a personal trainer, he dedicates so much time and focus to each session and in 2 months i've made incredible progress. Genuinely made me not hate gyms anymore,,, THANK YOU mike and energie !!

Fantastic experience: First time, for a long time working out at a gym. Manager was very helpful and was more than willing to show me around the various equipment. Very good shower and changing room facilities. I will be attending very frequently at the Thornton Heath gym

Negative experience: Cancelled my direct debit because of vivid restrictions and now I have been thrown a court order. Gym is below basic anyway..

Negative experience: I was charged 2 times now,over covid and was promised no next payment would be taken out as I have it on email! another payment was taken out, I emailed regarding this and no reply back, payment was taken and I had to put money into my bank because of this, it's getting really annoying how the gym is closed but money is still coming out of my account, when we cant use the gym so why is this!

Negative experience: Posted 2019: Great new little gym and has all the basic gym equipment I need. Really friendly staff especially Mike, Lianne, Henry, the club manager and all the rest. They make me feel welcome every time and its always nice seeing them. I love that they have boxing bags which not many gyms have. Free lockers, hand sanitizer, wet wipes etc. to keep us safe. Overall for the monthly membership price, cant complain!! Update 2023: Sorry, had to leave this gym. Like every budget gym and now I don’t know if this one is worse because of the location but sadly people do not take care of equipments here. Most equipments are grim and the one spin bike at the front, the saddle is completely broken. I can say more but let’s just leave it as that.

Negative experience: At the begining everything looks great... But noone tells you that the first month you will be charge for the first payment or that if you leave the gym you need to give 30 days notice or they will charge you and extra month and if you say no they will threaten you with putting you in a black list of people that dont pay. And they dont care the reason why you leave. In my case im leaving the country and a month before we get into lockdown ... So... They freeze a month... But that month they should be reopening im not even in this country... I want my money back.... They respond me with that kind of predetermined mail... Like if i was talking to a boot. ... Really unhappy...

Positive experience: Great staff who very helpful, personal trainers are available, plenty of equipment for a good workout whether it weight or cardio focused. Unfortunately only one Deadlift platform and one bench Press rack. This means you often have to weight a long time to to use this equipment.
