With deep regret, Newbody Gym Lowestoft is permanently closed.
Despite our best efforts to keep the gym running, we have faced challenges with rising business costs that have contributed to this outcome and the Gym building being closed down, in this case by our landlord without any dialogue for resolution or notice.
Please contact Ashbourne using the link provided below to manage your membership and cancellation. We strongly advise you to cancel your Direct Debit immediately if you haven’t done so already.
Please note that these companies manage our membership payments, We do not handle this directly and we requested that ALL payments to our account were stopped the moment we knew we had been shut down.
We sincerely apologise for this situation and assure you that we will do everything we can to reduce the impact on our members. We are absolutely devastated by this turn of events and deeply appreciate the understanding and support that so many of you have shown.

Negative experience: Been a member for over a year now, due to my mental health, depression and self confidence I stopped going shortly after using it as I felt I didn’t fit in. I have tried to cancel and I have tried to get hold of the owner and manager several times, I have emailed and rang up, left several voicemails. Gone into reception too and no one has ever bothered to get back to me. They are only interested in taking your money and reaping the benefits and not interested in their customers at all. This is an honest 1 star review. I hope they see and will actually contact me.

We are sorry you feel this way!To clarify we have no contact from you on our membership app system which allows you to send us direct messages as you are aware from previous contact regarding a program. Neither do we have any social media contact from you. You are in a contracted membership that we do not directly deal with. As advised previously you need to contact DFC and/or CFM. All this information is in your original sign up documentation. We are unable to cancel you our end, otherwise we would have done this. All the best.
Fantastic experience: All the equipment you could ever need, fantastic atmosphere and very helpful, friendly staff who never complain and are always happy to help !
Negative experience: Horrid gym. Staff are useless. Broken and old equipment. Not very friendly. Don't waste your time.
Fantastic experience: Easily the best gym I have been to. Staff are friendly and approachable. Never found myself not able to get on equipment. If any equipment was broke, it was quickly fixed. Users of the gym were friendly, pricing is completely fair. Couldn’t ask for anything more.
Negative experience: Payed online on two different occasions, turned up on "staffed hours" with no staff there to finish registration and gain access, waste of time and money. Nobody answers calls as well.
