Negative experience: My son is on a junior membership to the use the gym. After 3 months of using the gym they wouldn’t let him in because they said he hadn’t had an induction. He had one when he first started but they hadn’t added it to his membership. If the gym thought he hadn’t had an induction why was he let in for 3 months? Makes me question, are they allowing juniors in without an induction? Can’t call the manager of the gym. Can only speak to a call centre.

Fantastic experience: I joined this week and have loved my time there so far! I feel more motivated since going here x it’s a good gym

Negative experience: £40 a month is ridiculous really when the changing rooms are grim and the showers don't work. Even if the changing and shower rooms were nicer it's still way more expensive then other gyms in the area...

Negative experience: Has decent equipment but they never clean the place tbh it's pretty gross there are brown stains on the walls in the bathrooms and the weight rooms are always in a right state

Fantastic experience: There are so few places like this left. Community sports facilities. Great place for a lane swim

Negative experience: Dated changing rooms, staff are either not around or don't know what's going on.. Lessons keep getting cancelled

Positive experience: I’m not local to the area and this was just a passing visit to the pool only for context but I would recommend. Booking for swimming is through the ‘better’ app which works well. The changing rooms here are little bit dated with an open plan layout (but clean and tidy) and no individual showers. Lockers are available that take 20p coins (not returned at the end) but you are allowed to take small bags to the poolside with you. All the staff were really helpful and friendly and pool clean and well maintained.

Negative experience: Went for a Shower only had £3 with me its card only had to put money in the charity box looked at me gone out with £3 sterling got in changing rooms need 20p for locker not card only now . No plug in basin sinks 2 out of 5 showers worked properly is it me or has the world gone “mad”

Fantastic experience: Much improved since I last went a few years ago. Great swimming pool, much improved changing rooms, big studio for classes. Richard Spin bicycle classes are legendary. Take part & raise your hear rate & have fun!

Positive experience: Pretty good. The changing area is quite basic: it feels like an old school changing room but I can see that individual cubicles wouldn’t be possible with the space and money available. The lockers take a 20p but it’s okay to leave belongings poolside. For me, the temperature of the water was too warm though. I’ll definitely go back.

Positive experience: Had not gone swimming in a while and this was a lovely place to re-start. I went in the evening and it was very peaceful and the pool was rather warm however the showers could do with a looking at as they kept turning off however other than that. Splendid time!

Negative experience: One warm shower out of three. So stand and weight. Not good enough. No phone's in the buildings. So any questions you have to personally go there. Joke

Fantastic experience: Still fairly new to the area but loving it. Not too crowded, easy booking but would be good if you could attend twice in a day if there was space.

Positive experience: So lovely to be able to swim undisturbed by people blocking the ends just having a chat. Staff all very friendly & helpful. Showers could be a little cleaner though.

Positive experience: Generally really pleased with the return to gym. Clear instructions and good distancing. However, today was a little uncomfortable as another client had a sneezing fit but carried on exercising. We left immediately.

Fantastic experience: Great place to get fit the staff are super helpful and accommodating. Brilliant swimming pool and top of the range gym for general fitness and weight training. But I wish the Monday morning 1hr yoga class was a bit longer though, as do others.

Fantastic experience: I'm a member and I'm giving it 5 stars because of the staff they fantastic and work very hard, and I enjoy my swimming there, but the place needs an update.

Negative experience: They keep reducing the hours the swimming pool is available. Often on private hire and closing earlier in the evenings. Very frustrating.

Positive experience: Very friendly reception . Went to the adult only swim nice pool although had to get use to a shallow end when lane swimming. Was shown around gym area impressed. Only thing missing was a cafe .

Fantastic experience: I've only used the swimming pool, so can't comment on the gym. The pool is great for length training, and taking your kids. The staff are all professional and friendly. The pool is always clean and has a nice temperature

Fantastic experience: I always come here for a short swim in the large pool and they also offer swimming lessons to those whom cannot swim and would like to get some exercise.

Fantastic experience: Gyms been recently been updated and now have a nice big room in the studio for classes.

Negative experience: Today the pool had a notice saying " it's a couple of degrees colder in the showers". The pool was actually much colder than the usual chilly and the showers were ice cold. Unusable really. They still took full entry fee though. I shan't be back until it's all fixed.

Fantastic experience: The pool is very good especially if you want to go up and train for ur swimming club that only lets u swim 6h a week and u want to train even more

Positive experience: Just a standard pool, the manager banned me from swimming under water ? Because he at one time had to resuscitate someone, he's got a bald head, a beard and some real issues! He'll tell you off, lol
