Positive experience: Very good pool, long and with warm water. I like doing lanes but often there are people just chilling at the shallow end or swimming or walking across so it’s impossible to finish the whole lap. There should be more swim fit sections and maybe a pool/times for no swimmers and families. I don’t like the unisex changing rooms and showers and it’s annoying when parents wait in the changing area and I need to go past them with only my one piece just showered to go to the locker.

Negative experience: Not a great experience ... hadn't been in that swimming pool since 70s and let me tell you it's not changed one bit. Very run down feel about it , not to mention the smell. I was recommended by my physiotherapist to go as part of my rehabilitation for my back...I was going to join the Hilton again, but this was free for 3 months , so how bad could it be . Communal dressing area has a terrible smell in it, smell of stale urine was not a good 1st impression. The shower area, the smell seemed to get stronger . Poolside was so tired with brown rust stains everywhere, done 6 lengths , don't know how or why, every time I swam past the shower area you could still smell it. The sauna and steam room is no where near the pool or dressing area , so gave that a miss. Staff seemed friendly thus the 1 star. Not for me

Negative experience: We came in a week two times i loved this swimming pool but there is old woman new stuff don’t not allowed to come in the say we not allowed 3 years old child and 6 year I don’t know why they say it is rule but we came in a week two times every week and I see a lot of child to go inside for swimming, but this time why did not let me to go? They say it is policy To try not allowed, I really hate it. I’m not gonna come again. I hate this kind of policy for my children not for another children why

Negative experience: Distinct smell of sewage in the communal shower area. Great pool itself though. Got 45 min with my own lane until 2 bald guys started swimming width ways for whatever reason when there was lanes free meaning I had to stop and make sure we weren't about to butt heads on each lap. I got a fairly clean communal changing room, only 1 piece of gum.

Fantastic experience: A regular at the gym here and have a nice experience with each visit. All staff welcoming and friendly.

Positive experience: The swimming pool is always warm. Like the fact that the pool depth goes to 12 feet "ish" deep.

Negative experience: If you are planning on coming here to use the Health Suite and gym then don’t bother, it’s not worth it. The gym is tiny, with the free weights section very cramped. However the main reason I went today was on the recommendation that the health suite was good, and while it is large, it all feels ancient. The lockers in the dark and damp changing rooms are unbelievably outdated. You need to insert a NON REFUNDABLE ten pence piece to lock the locker, and the whole thing feels not secure. The steam room is very big, and when it is producing steam it is very powerful, however there is a constant puddle of water on the floor which is a slipping hazard and the grout from the tiles ends up on your skin and clothes. The two saunas are hot, but are falling apart. The bench’s seem like they are about to collapse and the wooden walls look burnt from the open coals. I never tried the pool but it does look great. Health suite and gym wise though, you’re better off going to the time capsule or the tryst. I would have gave it a 1 star if it wasn’t for the lovely receptionist and powerful steam room (when it’s on) but the journey from the reception to the health suite is absolutely shocking. It’s far too long. Along the way you see missing ceiling tiles and exposed wires and the whole place just feels unhygienic, like it’s been abandoned. Shame really. The pics speak for themselves. Won’t be back.

Positive experience: I felt like place was too racist for me, which is fine because you cannot force someone to accept your skin colour hence I want to cancel my membership .NB I experience this mostly from other members not Staff, they have a way of making you feel like dirt.. mind you am writing this in tears

Positive experience: Needs an upgrade both outside and inside. Very poor lighting in car park and disabled spaces are not monitored so are used by everyone leaving no room for blue badge holders

Fantastic experience: Cracking deep pool with a fantastic staff team.

Fantastic experience: Staff are all lovely, on reception, poolside and gym. Ample changing facilities and lockers. Full size pool. Gym is very well equipped. There is a large games hall where you can play badminton or take part in classes such as kick boxing. There is a studio for dance classes and a health suite with sauna (sadly no plunge pool). There is a spin bike class. There are also outdoor AstroTurf pitches. Avoid the gym at 4pm Mon - Thur during school term time as next door school has free gym access so it's full of pupils for an hour after school. Old building that really maximises it's space and the staff all do a fantastic job. Great asset to the local community and to visitors.

Negative experience: Filthy and outdated,I have been going here since April 2023 my first impression compared to any other north Lanarkshire gym was how dirty the gym ,showers and toilets are.i put this down to them having a bad day unfortunately all these months on and it hasn't changed,I did bring this to the attention of the management but they weren't bothered one bit I have stopped going there as of January 2024

Positive experience: Appreciate a lot having this sports centre in Bellshill but they really need to add more fitness classes as the demand is high especially after 5pm when most people finish from work. On Fridays they have only 4 classes all day. It's so hard to find a spot. These few classes they run are pre-booked days earlier and there is always a queue of 10-15 people. Ended up going to a sports centre further away for this reason. The staff in all areas are nice and helpful. Pool is good size but in general a renovation would be much appreciated.

Negative experience: This has been like the 4th time it’s says it’s opened and it’s not I’m sick of waisting money on taxis when its not even open then they ignore the phone

Fantastic experience: 1st time visiting here in years. The kids loved the pool & the fact they had a changing room big enough for my wheelchair & the family & they had a pool hoist definitely made things easier & more enjoyable. The pool was a nice temperature & the staff were very friendly.

Negative experience: Not bad gym, Woman who works in gym is really nice, the receptionist I don’t know her name who has glasses is horrible, she pulled me up about a membership I had previously a while back. I explained I switched over banks so I just set a new account up saving me phoning exc. she says I can’t access unless this is paid and asked if she could take a picture of me incase I try this “ trick “ again infront of other people in the que this was really embaressing. So I left and signed up with a new gym. I have spoke to numerous other people also who goes and they says she has did the same with them. I would mind if she asked me Nicly it was the manner she says it was really degrading. Will not be back.

Negative experience: They now have unisex changing rooms here, the showers are communal so basically everyone showering together. Why? Not everyone wants unisex changing rooms, and if there is, there should be independent shower cubicles. Absolute joke! Ended up joining a private gym so I can shower without half of bellshill joining me.

Positive experience: Staff are really lovely and helpful . The gym carpets need cleaning ,it smells damp .The health suite is only opened half days. There is no cafe ,but confectionery machines are available but it would be nice to see a small seated area that you could sit and have snacks, especially for children.

Fantastic experience: Great place for a swim, ample parking, friendly staff and discounts available in certain circumstances. Give it a visit soon well worth it.

Fantastic experience: Good sized swimming pool and seating area to view pool. Gym is very good and well layed out. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Changing rooms and toilets cleaned every 30 mins.

Fantastic experience: Sir Matt-Busby gym my favorite place to train. Very small gym but thanks to that people know each other. Great personal trainers and music that suits everyone . Just love this we gym xxx

Negative experience: Tried to call for 2 weeks (daily, at various times per day) and the phone was never answered, yet when you go in there's always someone at the desk. Poor service.

Negative experience: Went and took my 6 year old here yesterday Was appalled at how run down it is Was so dirty Showers hardly worked Changing areas had nappies plasters lying about The pool was not clean either and the tiles all round the floor were soaking went dirty and very slippy Will not b bk in a hurry

Positive experience: Nice pool but showers weren't working..still, the only place we could get into that day and u don't need to book. The shower in the disabled room was fine for us all to get a quick rinse! Notoriously bad at answering the phone though and have been for years..don't know why because every time I go in, there's usually always 2 members of staff sitting at reception. Changing rooms are cramped. They used to be great changing rooms and toilets..u can barely get the toilet door shut now without it hitting u and good luck in finding the toilets at reception because they have no sign on the door.

Negative experience: Showed up at 5 attempting to go to the swimming, the website says book online but even once you’ve filled on the stupidly long form it still doesn’t let you book in for the swimming, as well as that, online the website says closes at 8 but upon arrival AT 5PM we were told that the pool shuts in one hour.

Negative experience: Health suite badly needs upgrading,all areas,couldn't find a locker that worked ended up taking our bags in with us , showers were rotten , 2 sauna rooms , one was occupied the other was empty, then realised why, it was warmer outside than in,then we tried the steam room ,plenty of steam but the stench was unbearable,cost £12 for the two of us ,left after half hour ,20mins of that was used getting changed and using the rotten showers,all in all not a very pleasant experience. So come on NLL upgrade your facilities, make it a pleasurable experience and get customers to return again.I for one won't be back anytime soon.

Fantastic experience: Bigging up swim staff members Daniel for helping my GF's daughter do her first ever 25m swim. Other staff members are just as friendly. Pool is clean and warm. But I must say there is a bit of a cold draft when getting in the showers after swimming. This takes nothing away from the friendly atmosphere. A must go for parents as the training pool is amazing for babies and toddlers. Once again the caring staff will look after you and make you feel safe. Good job all round. Even the cleaning staff have a smile for you

Negative experience: Not a very well thought out place and outdated, needs some change especially the entrance to the pool area, if your collecting your child from lesson you have to go through a shower area which is slippy and not save. God only know which idiot thought that was cleave. Only good in theory that area but not safe or practical.

Negative experience: Absolutely awful customer service. Been in the phone on hold for 40 minutes to try and book a family swimming session. They have an online chat function but no one available the last 2 days. I appreciate that your call volumes are high but perhaps making online booking available would be far more appropriate than the current system
