Fantastic experience: Brilliant for a wee chill at the weekend, and all the staff are great especially Frances on the front desk.What more for a chill out, Sauna, Jacuzzi and Steam Room and shower. Just rest and be thankful.

Fantastic experience: First, suggestion: Please introduce men-only and women-only hours for the health suite apart from the regular universal access. Many members prefer to use these facilities with single sex access. So, it won't harm if you introduce 2 hours per day only for men and 2 hours only for women. What's great: Gym machines, Fitness classes of wide variety, Friendly coaches, and accessible + usually clean facilities all at affordable price What's not so great: No single sex hours. No hair dryers in changing rooms and poolside are working. Also, it'll help if they open 6am to 9:30pm daily, consistently.

Positive experience: The swimming pool is a good temperature and not crowded, so I was looking forward to a return visit. However, although the timetable said the pool was open until 6.30pm (Thursday), I arrived at 14.45 and was told that the pool was closing at 15.15 for swimming lessons. Please update your timetable and make it clear when swimming lessons will use the whole pool.

Positive experience: Great Gym facility, good parking, use the gym at least twice weekly. Some Machines tend to be out of order periodically and the electric scales have been out of order for too long. I'm also concerned that the aquafit classes are ending and that the service will not be resumed. I pay a six monthly subscription and it's not going to be worth renewal Updated 10th October Emailed the Head Office today to enquire about the withdrawal of aquafit, the reply was, there Is one at Prestonpans 8pm on Thursdays, whilst three classes weekly will be lost at Musselburgh. So that's two x members twice at 6 month each they're going to lose.

Positive experience: Swimming pool toilets are disgusting always blocked and dirty. Swimming lessons could be better by sticking with the same coach instead of changing every week and also coach shouldnt be putting swimming score down. Should just keep it the same or put it up. Swimming lessons should be assessed once a month instead of just ever 4 or 5 months.

Positive experience: It is a marvellous facility with lots of parking and adjacent to a bus terminus. Was there for a Toy, model cars and trains and sci fi festival. There were some wonderful bargains.

Positive experience: Friendly staff and not busy for badminton. Hard to book courts though; no online booking and hard to get through on the phone.

Positive experience: Lovely place for a swim and also enjoy the events they run such as the toy fair. Could do with a deep clean in the showers and near the pool though

Positive experience: I attended a toy fair by Northern toys, the facilties are designed as a sports centre rather than for a toy fair. The main hall was used for this purpose. We used the cafe and the food was good although seating limited due to the toy fair.

Fantastic experience: I went to this place on Saturday morning they had a funfair on at Musselburgh sport centre and it was great to see all different stalls in this building

Positive experience: Took the wee fella swimming. The website stated that the floating floor pool was available, yet when we turned up, it was closed due to a private session. Not great when people plan their day around the published timetable. Disappointing.

Positive experience: Gym reasonably good, needs heavier dumbells than 25kg, health suite area and pool likewise good. Staff helpfull.

Positive experience: Not bad gym - rating it at 80%, right in the middle of my four star range. Could do with more free weights (the dumbbell range was good) and a bigger area. (A squat rack etc. would help.)

Fantastic experience: Shh keep this to yourself but youll feel like you have your own swimming pool lol cause you'll practically have the place to yourself and you get a decent munch after your swim in the cafeteria which has a great view of the pool and offers home made soup and hot filled rolls fruit shoots 4 the kids vegetarian options . A la carte , no but the foods up there its decent

Positive experience: Despite every time mentioning that my daughter has a membership card and we give her name, we are being charged full price. The dark-haired lady needs computer and customer service training.... what's the point of membership then if we are being charged full price for using facilities ‍♂️

Negative experience: Used to love coming here but have now came 3 times in the last few months and the pool has been closed for lessons or parties so this time I rang before coming and they said the pool is open to then get here and it's closed for lessons AGAIN. Then why did the man on the phone tell me it's open. Ridiculous

Positive experience: Visited here as our local swimming pool is closed for repair. Clean pool and locker areas. Toilets were filthy and a number of the showers by the pool were not working. No space to sit in the cafe due to parents waiting on children at swimming lessons.

Negative experience: had questions regarding the memberships, but the lady didn’t answer my questions saying that everything is on website then, i wrote to their emails, they never answer(

Negative experience: Found Hair in my food and more butter than ham on kids meals

Positive experience: Noone at the gym knows how to give you a plan to work towards. Swimming pool taken up with kids' lessons on two of the four evenings it is open.

Fantastic experience: Had my daughters birthday pool party good value and the pool adjusts to different heights so excellent for non swimmers

Positive experience: Handy to get to (30 bus), but quite scruffy & grubby, particularly when comparing it to other facilities in East Lothian run by the same organisation! Staff could be pleasanter too.

Negative experience: Shocking attitude of the staff. Vending machine wasn’t working but there was no sign on it. Was told have to call this number coz they don’t do refunds. Pretty much knowing not many folk are gonna take the time or hassle to get a couple quid back they lose from a broken vending machine. Absolute joke!!!

Negative experience: Changing rooms are full of chewing gum every where and dirty health suite is dirty as well lost of rust everywhere staff can be nice just depends on witch on you get just needs a good deal clean

Positive experience: I can only comment on the pool because this is the only reason I have visited. Pool is relatively clean but can sometimes be a bit cold. The pool can also get quite busy but this is understandable.

Fantastic experience: Finally found a pool that has opened its showers! Great pool - tho it was chilly last time I was in - and gradual incline to deep end

Positive experience: Great sports centre - with sports hall, gym, run various classes, sauna and swimming pool ( the water is usually at a pleasant temperature) and has a great section for younger children. There is a small café for snacks and drinks.

Negative experience: Booked in for lane swimming, no lanes in when I got to poolside. I asked the (very unhelpful and uninterested) guard if lanes were going in, as that is what I had booked and paid for-her response was a flat 'no' and that was it-no apology, no explanation, and certainly no attempt to put a lane rope in. I spoke to the manager about her rudeness and dis interest, he was very apologetic.

Positive experience: The quite ridiculous time that they take to fix broken things is frustrating.

Negative experience: I go every Monday whit my soon to swimming and after the lessons I go always to buy hotdog whit chips. The staff is wonderful friendly always there ,but I think is more then 1 month they don’t have a machine to make chips. And they are many kids to ask for chips. So sand. Thanks

Negative experience: I believe the children’s jamboree area needs updated! my 3 year old was bored as theirs no slides and the soft play area was very basic. Nowhere to buy drinks or snacks in the play area Their was no attended or superviser was in the room as all during our 1 hour play time here which I thought was very unsafe to be honest and wouldn’t happen at any of the other children’s plays read in east lothian

Fantastic experience: Really nice pool and the wee one loves it here. Wish it were a heated pool so could enjoy it more. Nice place for a relaxing weekend and fun for the family.

Positive experience: The swimming pool is a 25 m standard but cut short by a boom to allow a children pool. It is small but we are in a small town and having a swimming pool at all is good.

Positive experience: This community center has a pool, soft play over two levels, a cafe and a number of kids and adults sports classes

Fantastic experience: Excellent facilities and very friendly staff. Cafetera well worth visiting with very good home cooked food and a good selection at reasonable prices. Only used the soft play area with great grandkids which deserved 5 stars on its own but viewing all the facilities on our way around the centre I would not hesitate to use everything available if the Center was closer to home. All in all I was very impressed.

Positive experience: The swimming pool is a bit on the small side as is the gym and there wasn't any one on reception. Had to go on a hunt to find a water fountain though did eventually find one in the gym after asking another random person using the facility.
