Fantastic experience: Staff teaching yoga and aqua fit classes are fantastic! Knowledgeable and always happy to help you achieve our best. Overall the fitness centre is really good wit a lot of activities.Really nice and relax environment. Congratulations and wish all a lovely Christmas to all of you hard working people from the teachers to cleaners you guys are 5 stars!

Negative experience: Two times running I’ve been with my 1yr old and been told the community pool is closed when the timetable online says it’s open. First time due to staff sickness. Second time just told the session was cancelled.

Positive experience: Bit of an odd system with the lockers - padlocks rather than the usual £1 coin in the door. Brought our 4 year old boy for the family fun session in the pool. Granted, we were 10/15 minutes later than the timetabled start time. But anyway, we entered an empty pool to then be angrily told that we shouldn't be in there without a lifeguard. Ya don't say?! Clearly not a customer issue, and more of an operational thing. So it did slightly spoil the session for us. To be fair, the lifeguard later apologised, but really systems ought to be in place. If someone books into a session, then staff should be in place. It's not on the customer. Comms from reception, or simply having a staff member with eyes on the area. Assumptions and abandoning the session after 10 minutes seems a bit lax. And the customer shouldn't be on the receiving end of operational failures.

Positive experience: For the first time today I walked right back out, teenagers hogging the machines not actually using the facilities for workout/gym purposes, I've only been here for a month and it was horrendous, people without memberships just walking straight on in, the app needs improvement and more restrictions in place for those who are actually paying it's unfair. Equipment needs replacing bolts undone & fuses of machines not working. Second guessing whether to stick with this or move to another.

Fantastic experience: Nice sized gym and pool

Negative experience: In the evening the gym is full of young kids who shouldn't be using gym equipment at their age.

Negative experience: I took my 4 year old son swimming there and found that the changing room were very dirty, outdated and it was freezing. Also lots of random people were walking in and out of the changing rooms. There should be separate changing rooms for families and females! I had grown men staring at me whilst in a bathing suit who were not even there to swim. Made me feel very uncomfortable! Lots of hairs in the shower and some showers were stopping after a few seconds of running so was left with shampoo in my hair and had to change shower cubicle. Not sure I will be returning. The door from the main reception area to the splash area was opened by various individuals who were walking in and out of the swimming areas and letting others walk in from outside. This should not be happening and it is a breach of security. Only two hair driers available so not enough especially as cold weather is coming. You can’t expect people to walk out with wet hair during winter months. So sadly will try and find an alternative unless something improves.

Positive experience: Dirty showers. Sometimes you can have drip of warm water . Not enough cleaners for such a crowded place.

Negative experience: Swimming classes are great, and the pool itself is clean. The gym has everything you could want, and the venue is great for children with softplay and party areas. However, there are some disgusting people who think that it is OK to leave used sanitary products on the top of the changing rooms. This is not an isolated incident that we have seen, and staff were not shocked about it either. We reported to reception earlier in the day and returning for a second swimming class, the offending items were still in the same place. Pretty vile either have cleaners clean or put sanitary bins in all the changing rooms. If people are so disgusting, they can't work out where to out their soiled sanitary tampons.

Positive experience: Fine place, a lot different activities

Fantastic experience: This is a great centre equipped with water fun area for younger kids, 1 smaller pool adjoining kids fun area. Alongside is a 50m swimming pool divided in half to allow for several sessions at once. The centre also boasts a decent cafe selling smoothies and coffees, indoor bowls, basketball/badminton courts, squash, as well as a fully air-conditioned gym overlooking the pool. Upon entering the centre stands a climbing wall which looked great fun for young and teens. The centre also has a buggy park for mums. There is ample parking in a meter pay car park.

Positive experience: Good gym, lots of equipment in. Staff are not always around.

Positive experience: The squash courts were so so hot. We had booked two courts for 4 people and the facilities are generally great, but we managed to lose two balls at the top of the wall (I've never done that before), and we were all sweltering. If only they had some air con!!

Fantastic experience: This is a well run and comprehensive facility with pleasant staff and plenty of options. It’s location means that it is easy to get to and there is plenty of parking and you could also use the Park And Ride. Also handy for combining a shopping trip to a well known (to market) supermarket.

Positive experience: The biggest gym I have been to. Huge choice of equipment, to be honest there are many that I have no idea how to use. Not all the time but there are gym staff present! A year into the gym and noticed there are quite a few people tailgating into the gym, crowding the place when it's very busy to start with. Annoying... Another thing is on the web, the closing time is 22:00 but today on a Saturday, we got rounded up and kicked out by 19:00. Wondered why...

Fantastic experience: We booked an adult climbing taster session and Sammy was our instructor. They were absolutely brilliant - so helpful and encouraging. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Positive experience: Very nice centre, many facilities and clean. Lifeguards quite unprofessional, wearing creased, oversized uniform, not paying attention to pool, leaving chairs and talking.

Fantastic experience: I love going to Wycombe Leisure centre, their new gym refurb is amazing plenty of space and machines, I also do Aquafit and that is great fun! Would highly recommend this centre for gym, swim and classes! The staff are very lovely and helpful too! Thank you!

Positive experience: Decent equipment, some quite outdated and rusty, FOH staff is absolutely lovely but the same cant be said for the gym staff. I’ve definitely been to better gyms, but if you’re really about it, a gym is a gym at the end of the day ‍♂️

Negative experience: Wasn’t wise enough to leave my shoes unattended for 3 mins during changing after swimming - one of the shoes (!) disappeared immediately and no one could help me. It just vanished, and it was obviously someone’s “joke”rather than theft. Changing room is uncontrolled, dirty, smelly, and my issue illustrates what type of people are among the visitors. Be careful and watch out if you still want to visit this place

Positive experience: Never used it myself. My son goes for various sports activities.

Negative experience: Climbing instructor and his manager need training in customer service. They were not very polite, to say the least. Also, the area is overheated.

Fantastic experience: Play and bounce. Great place to pick up a seasonal cold. Loads of room. Safe. Great big bouncy castle, soft things and crash mats. Very reasonably priced. Toddler loves it.

Positive experience: Took my son to the gym and was very pleased. There is alot of equipment to use all looking in clean working order. All had plenty of room to work out without bumping into each other.

Negative experience: App doesn't work since joining, noone seems bothered. I also take my kids lane swimming and every evening there is a group of younger men that are constantly throwing each other in the pool and generally being a nuisance, nothing is ever done about this. The lifeguard just seems to ignore it. On speaking with other members it also annoys them too. Great to have kids membership for £1 but it comes at a cost.

Positive experience: Overall good some upgrades are needed, car parking isn’t free

Negative experience: Update: Grumpy today (1st February 2024) as coffee machine was turned off. If your cafe closes at 19:00 it shouldn’t stop serving coffee at 18:55. I come here regularly to “Dad Cab” my daughter to climbing which she loves and the instructors are excellent. I rarely use the facilities myself (I prefer going for runs outdoors) but I do occasionally partake in a yummy reasonably priced coffee. Also, if I’m lucky enough to arrive at the right time I make use of the (free!!!) electric car chargers.

Negative experience: The swimming pool is mostly closed for club or school use at reasonable times if you work a 9-5. Changing rooms, sauna and steam room are dirty and poorly maintained. Large groups of persons don’t pay to use the facilities and just walk in…… gratis..!!

Positive experience: Good leisure centre with good facilities. A spa would be a good addition.

Positive experience: Great swimming pool and I saw a fight whilst I was there, which was extra value for the price of my entry. Well dealt with by the poolside staff

Positive experience: Swim facilities are great - pool (shallow and deep), sauna and steam room. But the cleanliness of the changing rooms need to be addressed - the floor is absolutely filthy with hair and dirt everywhere. There is also a very strong urine smell when you first walk in. Cleanliness has been mentioned a few times in previous comments - management, please take action. Customer service by those manning the reception desk can be improved too. There were 3 at the desk today yet only 1 was seeing customers whilst the other 2 chatted.

Fantastic experience: Great gym friendly young staff & great equipments and reasonably maintained which I am happy with..

Positive experience: The website is a bit of a nightmare. but I was able to book a day pass. It's a good gym for a leisure centre, but VERY busy for a Wednesday afternoon. Not enough benches, only one rope for cables. Loads of treadmills and that. Loads of free weights for when you can get a bench. You won't find much specialist stuff tho. You need a padlock for lockers. But the changing rooms seemed clean.

Negative experience: UPDATE:The air conditioning is still broken. The room has no open windows. It is now refurbished and the new equipment breaks too often. The gym air conditioning is non existent and only one fan to circulate hot air in a room without open windows. The gym equipment is dirtiest its ever been and never cleaned, they kindly provide wipes. Avoid.

Fantastic experience: I was with my 6-year-old son climbing, we are very pleased

Negative experience: I left a week ago, sauna is never on despite being advertised. Facilities are dirty neither is the steam room.

Positive experience: It will be nice if people will use the toilets instead of showers- it's a disgusting smell. Also, insist on cleaning- is a bit rubbish compare to other places

Fantastic experience: Make sure you have the waffles! Great rooms, friendly staff and fantastic breakfast! Handy to have a Waitrose next door also for snacks and wine. Would stay here again when passing through or sipping nearby.

Fantastic experience: The climbing experience here is incredible. The staff help to create a welcoming environment and always make sure you are safe. I would strongly recommend visiting if you are new to climbing and want to try it out or have already climbed and want a local place you can regularly go to.

Positive experience: Good experience at centre but parking long term a problem as you have to go to car park and buy another ticket. We went to the park and ride but confusion over ticket machines. Notes around saying to call Ringo to pay but machines weren't taped off and some people used them but weren't sure if payment had gone through. Others standing around for ages trying to get through to Ringo. Should be resolved soo

Fantastic experience: Great leisure centre but the gym gets to busy could do with more equipment and less cardio

Negative experience: Waste of time, 3rd weekend in a row of trying to introduce my son to the water, his 7months old. 1st weekend was chance and fair enough you had a gala going on. But after that I rang ahead, learning from the weekend before but was told all was ok but after turning up and finding out it was lessons all morning was an absolute joke! Then the following weekend was the exact same thing again!! This is most definitely is not a public swimming pool!!!!

Negative experience: Like all swimming pools in the area, it is virtually inaccessible for children during the week. It is only open for swimming lessons, which are all fully booked up, or adult-only swimming. I work weekends, which is the only time children are allowed to swim. Leisure centres should have a responsibility to cater for children, not just adults, by providing more general swim time options between 4pm and 6pm once school is over. Children deserve the right to swim!

Fantastic experience: The centre itself is great with friendly staff however it is slightly let down (run by a different company) by the parking - .50p min but no app option - cash only. Vritually all car parks I go to have an app. The cynic in me says - no one has the .50p and puts in £1. Nice little earner.

Positive experience: Wonderful staff, unfortunately a lot of people come in without membership and turns up I cannot use the gym properly. Needs working on security.

Negative experience: Decent place apart from the spotty manager with a receding hairline that walks and talks like he owns the place. Apart from his arrogance the rest is a decent place.

Fantastic experience: Good leisure centre with allot of facilities. Reasonable price for a good sized gym, sports Hall, squash courts and pool. The pool area has a sauna and steam room which is rare for a leisure centre. Much more reasonably priced than other facilities in the area.

Negative experience: Ticket machines often out of order, barriers don’t work when fob is scanned, groups of lads (who clearly haven’t got memberships) waiting outside gym door who sneak in when a member scans themselves in, broken equipment takes an age to fix, too many people taking phone calls which is against gym policy but no one enforcing it

Fantastic experience: Great facilities, excellent classes and a real sense of community threaded throughout. A special shout out to instructor Corey who leads the Boxfit class - he is a brilliant instructor and would highly recommend his class!

Positive experience: App is always out of use for some reason or is just so slow and doesn't show all your bookings.. and if you dont know already the app is the only way to book for things or check your bookings or cancel them.. its kinda frustrating Most classes are impossible to book for as theyre always gone some staff are rude Other than that other facilities are good

Fantastic experience: Great service at this centre. I managed to get my cleat stuck in one of the spinning bikes and the duty manager not only helped me get it off the bike, but also put the cleat back on my shoe!

Negative experience: Overpriced to say least! , swimming pool is closed/ private sessions far too often for a public pool ... gym is OK but things stay broken for too long and reception staff are useless.... access control has never worked since the gym opened and they have never fixed it ! £25 million well spent by the council

Negative experience: Failed at the first hurdle - Signing up fee £25 - I do not think so , Plus you have to pay for parking all the time you go. I thought this place was for the community but i guess was wrong. Also many a friend have told me that you rarely get to use the swimming pool , Which is one of the main reasons me and my family wanted to join. Avoid.
