Fantastic experience: Love for the first time. Pool is quite old but in nice location, big parking sourness by trees. Inside is open space and you can see evrything. I have never been so close to pool before. Good vibes, nice, fam and friendly place.

Negative experience: This swimming bath is revolting the pools smell of wee there is plasters,blood,tampons and condoms on the floor everywhere. The pool is 100 percent wee.the bottom of the pool has blood and little yellow bits on it.i would 100% not recommend

Fantastic experience: It's been a while since I have been to Darlaston Baths, I was impressed, everything was clean, gym well equipped, and the pool was perfect.

Negative experience: I've signed up my 4 years old son to have some swimming lessons and I've been told that I have to go with him in the water for the first few lessons which I can understand but they made me go with him every time and I ended up teaching my son swimming as the swimming instructor was so careless and not interested.

Fantastic experience: Darlaston Baths is really great! Basic membership is £24.50 a month with swimming, gym included, as well as you can use Walsall Gala also I would like to see a dip machine installed tho and a peck deck, but other than that it’s great, Gym area is always kept cool as well

Positive experience: Good local facility: a gym and two pools The work on the building is the boilers and heating system being replaced by what will hopefully be a greener and cheaper system. The place needs a bit of a scrub n facelift Friendly professional staff

Negative experience: The kids swimming lessons are okay but the cleanliness and hygiene of facilities could be improved, such as toilets and the changing rooms. The toilets are usually in poor condition, needing a Good clean and bleach. The soap always needs topping up too.

Fantastic experience: I have been coming here for a few years and although I have been to other swimming baths too, I prefer it here at Darlaston. Yes, it is a bit shabby and could do with a refurbishment, but I like it how it isn’t as busy as other places. Other swimming baths might be newer and bigger, but they are also rammed full of people. The set up here is different but again, I like it. There are no separate changing rooms for men and women. You don’t need this though, as there are cubicles which you can use. When you are in the main swimming pool, the small pool is right next to it and you can see reception and the cafe seats from the pool too. I think this is ideal for parents/guardians who are waiting for children who have swimming lessons. Everything is on one level so there are no stairs or steps (wheelchair friendly). If you have a problem, it doesn’t take you ages to get to reception, as this is a few seconds away from wherever you are. There is also a small steam room, a gym, lockers (£1 which you get back), hair dryers, cubicle showers and a free big car park. The staff are always very friendly and so are the regular customers. This place offers other activities too, such as children’s parties.

Fantastic experience: Staff pleasant, gym is small but very practical with the space, cubicals are clean and well maintained and pool is clean and warm.

Negative experience: Absolutely livid today my daughter was having a swimming lesson with her school at darlaston the swimming instructor is called Ruth my daughter got very upset when asked to put her head under water to which she was screamed and shouted at by Ruth the instructor to pack it in stop crying I don’t appreciate my daughter being spoken to like that and I will be making a official complaint about this person obviously shouldn’t be working with children.

Fantastic experience: This Leisure Centre is really amazing. It isn’t a big one but has a lot of things. The staff are super friendly and a lot of activities including: Swimming pools, swimming lessons,synchronised swimming lessons, and a gym. It’s beautiful and I really can’t think of a negative for this.

Positive experience: I swim at the leisure centre every week and have for at least 15 years. Yes it could do with a bit of T.L.C. but I have never encountered some of the issues that are in the reviews. The staff are always friendly and nice. It isn't one of those leisure centres that are impersonal , it's a lovely place that does what it says on the pack and provides for your uses. I have never used the gym but it always seems busy Love it there !

Negative experience: This place is very shabby and looks patched up in most places. The changing areas are cold and the floor is slippy. There is not much privacy from the pool to the changing areas or even the cafe area. There's no signs saying outdoor shoes can't be worn so it feels as if you are walking on dirt. The family changing areas are soacioud but smell of urine.

Positive experience: Been here twice so far to use the baths. No been to busy in evenings. Deepest point 1.8m and diving allowed. Good length with two swimming lanes that can fit four people swimming clockwise. (more if spaced length ways). Nice and clean pool and changing rooms. Plenty of space and good facilities. Free parking. One pound Coin for lockers, redeemable. Goggles sold here from £9-£11. Membership prices are good. Pay as you go currently £4.50 for pool. Check online for public swim times. Facility also has gym and sauna, on the small side but nice overall centre. Pool water is well maintained without the over powering chlorine in some baths. There are two baths, main pool with shallow and deep end and a smaller kids pool. Some seating areas available to for visitors or none participant's.

Positive experience: The place is nice, having two swimming pools, one for small kids and one for adults. Nice place but sometimes the big pool is very busy and crowdy, being used by ages from 10 and above. In the same time you will not use it complete, having also two training and speed lines. Anyway, overall is a good place to exercise, swim and learn to swim. The cleaning at the lockers could be improved.

Positive experience: It was fun. All you need in a pool; nothing too extreme or crazy. It doesn't have any slides or anything. They offer a sauna and a gym too. Showering and changing facilities are good and bathrooms are adequate. Overall a decent visit.

Positive experience: Think I'm going to try another swimming baths for my daughters lessons. Some teachers are brill, some aren't so good. My daughter has had various teachers, would be nice if there was some consistency. The trainee who just qualified steps in time to time, but I think she needs more experience before she has a class. Was a free for all today and no structure. Also my child's name seems to be the only one she can't remember, which I find unprofessional. (My child has been there since September, the same time as the newly qualified teacher and the other children) Even when my child told her her name she still didn't use it. Also there was an infestation of flies in the shower cubicle the other week. Hopefully it was just a one off.

Negative experience: The toilets got mould around it and one of the swimming coaches said I will never achieve any swimming records. Well look at me now Colin I achieved by moving in the deep end.
