Negative experience: scammers took money when they aren't open. they don't respond to emails or phone.

Positive experience: Excellent gym trained there at the start of 2023 only bad thing is I cancelled my membership in May and for some reason in January 2024 they started taking money back out of my account and won't answer emails or call had to contact the bank and report it as fraudulent since I work in another country

Negative experience: Loved the gym when it opened but since it's closure/relocation their communication has been non-existent while they continue to take money from my account and ignore my requests to cancel+refund

Negative experience: I finished my membership with them around 18 months ago and was randomly charged a fee a few days ago. Took me by surprise because I don’t live there anymore. I have tried writing and calling them but no response. Very disappointed!

Negative experience: They charged my card 3 times back in 2022 despite me cancelling my membership - got my refund luckily. However, a week ago, they charged my card despite me not even living in Nottingham. I have emailed them so many times and nobody answers.

Negative experience: DISGUSTING. I have left and cancel my membership in July 2023 and I have been charged for a membership 2 days ago. This Is unacceptable and illegal. They are not even answering on the phone. Anyone that got a refund give a like on my review just so I know If have any chance seeing my money back...

Negative experience: Cancelled my membership back in February of 2023 and two days ago got charged for my membership again. Seems this has happened to a lot of people. Overpriced gym anyway in all honesty. Would not recommend

Negative experience: Really enjoyed this gym. I cancelled in October (with confirmation emailed) due to having a baby and moving away, along with it being closed for three months for refurbishing - no payments taken then all of a sudden money was taken out of my account in January! Emailed multiple times with no reply! No answer to any available numbers. Total silence. Contacted the bank to raise a merchant dispute! Awful service and a real shame, putting a bad name to the gym! Heard that this has happened to multiple people - check their instagram!

Negative experience: Like the other reviews I’ve cancelled my membership over a year ago and have randomly been charged for their “closing down sale”… very interesting that the number no longer works either. They will save your card details and charge whenever it seems. AVOID. Also very complicated to cancel when they were running normally anyway..

Negative experience: I was wrongly charged £29.66 in January 2024 even though I cancelled my membership in May 2023 and the gym is currently closed. No one answers the phone or email address. The gym is now just fraudulently charging previous members.

Negative experience: They don’t pay their staff and now they’re taking money off customers even when they’ve shut down

Negative experience: Scammers, give us all our money back the gym closed in November yet yesterday you charges us and loads of other people, for no reason. We will not be going to this gym when it re-opens! Boycott these thieves thinking they can help themselves to others hard earned money!

Negative experience: Cancelled my membership in September, so my last payment was in October. 2 days ago received an email saying that I signed up for a brand new membership (different than the one previous). Done research and apparently this happened to a LOT of people. They saving our bank details and charging us whenever they want. They easily can sell these bank details to somebody else. Fraud case is coming up. I actually thought I will go back when they are reopened- no more.

Negative experience: The gym closed at the end November 2023 and I was sent an email prior to this informing me of the temporary closure and that my membership would be frozen until the gym reopened in early 2024. I was charged £34.99 membership fee despite the gym being closed. I’ve sent several emails, tried to call and reach out to UFC gym on social media but I have never gotten a response. I’m currently filing a charge back dispute with my bank to get my money back and I’ve also cancelled my direct debit, lol if I hadn’t money would’ve continued to be deducted every month. This is a breach of contract and very shady of UFC, I will not be returning.

Negative experience: Left in August even got the email to say "sorry your leaving us comfirmed last payment date bla bla bla" to then get charged 4 months for a new membership today even though I've not had any contact with them since that email and seen its happened to quiet a few people and they don't even respond to emails about the issue. They're just hoping to get the one of payment and will just let it slide. IT NOT ON!

Negative experience: Members keep being charged after gym closures (2nd month now). I keep receiving emails that my membership is starting WHEN THERE IS NO GYM. I never signed up to anything. OWNERS SORT THIS OUT ASAP

Negative experience: Gym equipments and facilities over very good. I came to the gym this morning about 9.30am and it was supposed to be opened since 8am. But it was closed, I stood infront of the gym waiting for someone to come open the door. No one came, there was no one inside. Its appalling to see a gym that does not open according to their time. What a disappointment.

Negative experience: Ok . So this gym is nothing short of disgusting , the showers and toilets are absolutely filthy dirty. The gym floor is covered in dust and filth. It stinks of sewers from the minute you walk in. It is a disgrace . I really cannot say anymore. How do they think this is acceptable? It is filthy and rotten .

Negative experience: Run away from this gym. It’s not worth your money. I’ve been in this gym since 2020. They change their owner in March/April, and they are not giving all the supplies it needs, no toilet paper, they don’t clean the toilet, gym literally always stinks so bad, broken water filter, they cut half of the classes, etc. Don’t waste your time

Negative experience: Used to be a really good gym but it’s really gone downhill after change of management. So dirty now, kinda ridiculous how dirty considering it’s an mma gym and you roll on the mats. Asking for a skin infection.

Negative experience: The worst gym in Nottingham. For the amount they are charging its ridiculous. No wifi, disgusting levels of cleanliness. No toilet paper! For £60?? No toilet paper or even soap?? They just want your money, and never accept their offer for 1 month free membership if you leave a 5 star review as thats a lie! WORST RUN GYM. sad to see it go into a hole. hope it closes for safety reasons.

Negative experience: The most disgusting gym. Since they change the owner, the gym has been so dirty, nobody clean the toilet, there is never toilet paper or hand soap in the toilet, the floor is sticky, they never replace any equipment that gets broken. The water filter has been broken for 2 months. Do NOT recommend unless you want a skin infection.

Positive experience: Is nice place with good atmosphere. Only one issue for me is isbtime to upgrade some equipment or fixing....

Positive experience: For the price, as long as u make full use of membership, I would say it is worth it. However, small things like the women's toilets ALWAYS missing toilet roll and never using the toilet roll holder so the roll just falls allover the floor and becomes unusable, this is very unhygienic. Other small things like lockers being broken or randomly unlocking whilst I am in the gym area, this makes me feel unsafe to use them. Otherwise, good equipment, friendly staff, just seems lacking in small areas

Negative experience: The actual facilities are good as well as the classes, but for how much they charge you the standard is not good enough, especially with the diabolical hygiene from the toilets, showers and occasionally even the gym floor itself

Positive experience: Overall people and vibe of the gym is excellent. Unfortunately the facilities are lacking abit, toilets often don't have toilet roll, some of the showers are broken and the dumbbells are scattered across the racks meaning I have to go searching for two of the same weight all the time. However the equipment, design and layout is perfect.

Fantastic experience: I joined this gym mainly for the Brazilian jiu jitsu and I love it! Amazing, supportive coaches and great people! There is at least one class almost everyday so there are many options to choose from as my schedule is constantly changing. Such a fun community to be a part of

Positive experience: Great machinery and friendly staff. Only issue was that a few showers didn't work and they never had any towels/paper to clean the machines.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been training at UFC Nottingham for 6 months now. The equipment is excellent, the atmosphere is friendly, the UFC facilities are second to none and the team are always welcoming. I’d definitely recommend!

Negative experience: Husband left this gym recently. Signed off work again after getting ringworm a second time from classes, meaning we were short of money again and couldn't make rent. Turns out this place has a reputation for bad hygiene and skin infections as the training areas aren't cleaned regularly. We tried to get in touch with management and not a single reply to any email. When we asked to speak to someone there, they were apparently in a 'meeting'. The staff are lovely and always do their best but management is another story. There are several gyms in the area and other combat gyms. Save your money. Go elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: Very clean and good price

Negative experience: weights are misplaced everywhere, and staff were rude to me after referring several friends who alongside me were members for close to a year. Also promised us a free month of gym after leaving a 5* review, which we weren’t given. I was a member for a year, and unlike your reply states, you and your staff will have recollection of me and my friends as they knew us all by name.

Fantastic experience: The best gym in Nottingham hands down, the environment & atmosphere is extremely friendly and everyone is so helpful and welcoming! The combat classes are unbeatable, I’ve been doing the BJJ classes for a few months now and the coaches have helped me progress and work on my confidence. Highly recommend UFC to anyone and everyone.

Fantastic experience: I have been a member of the UFC Gym for a few months now and I am lucky enough to have attended Arpads' Boxing Skills and Boxing Conditioning classes. Arpads' knowledge and expertise of the fundamentals of Boxing caters for absolutely any level. I started as a complete beginner without any prior experience and I am beginning to notice major improvements in my technique and cardio solely because of the classes I have attended coached by himself. He is incredibly patient and understanding of the learning process, is more than happy to demonstrate as much as necessary, and also corrects any flaw in technique to reduce the risk of developing any bad habits. Every single class each week is different which keeps things really fresh, fun and exciting and motivates me to come back each week (when I have the time!). Overall would 100% recommend!!

Fantastic experience: UFC Gym is the number one place to go. There's a feeling in this gym than is not conveyed in any other mainstream gyms. The friendliness of staff is second to none, theyre always willing to help, givr advise and be there when you need it. The equipment is fantastic and is versatile if you fancy a pad session, weights or some cardio you can change it up. And that's just scratching the surface, the gym equipment is top notch with alot of variety including two segregated classrooms, pad area, saunas and the octagon. The staff are well trained, Rikki, Rory, Arpad, recovery staff Nibs and the rest offer fantastic services. Whether it be personal training, combat classes or sports recovery. These also including free classes for children to keep them active. I have participated in some boxing skills classes and can only recommend them, Arpad is an excellent coach with alot of patience, he is very knowledgeable and comes across as very skilled and competent. He has trained myself and my daughter and always gives you confidence and support when learning. I have also used the sports recovery to aid my aging body to allow faster recovery. Nibs offered me great advise when having reoccurring back pain and I also have used the cryotherapy facilities. I could not say enough to praise this gym but it is a family place not just a gym you attend have a session and go home. But a place you can learn and improve. Keep up the good work guys and girls. Fantastic experience: Best Mixed Martial Arts training, loads of friendly and supportive coaches to enhance your skills in the ring.

Fantastic experience: Overall its a great gym. The changing rooms are a little small and on seminar days (such as the recent Meatball Molly seminar) it was extremely overbooked and many gym bags were left on machines or across the floor of the gym which was a big hindrance for anyone who was just there for the gym facilities. Additionally, the sauna always seems to be under repair and there's never really a heads up that it's going to be under maintenance. Taking all this into account, the gym, facilities and staff are great and i most definitely recommend signing up. The negatives of the gym pale in comparison to its positives and it beats every other gym in the city centre by a mile.

Fantastic experience: A special gym. Amazing energy from all the team every time you enter. The BJJ classes are super fluid and always engaging. Alex does an amazing job to create a family atmosphere, and drill technique and Rory is always adding various options to build versatility. Celio creates an environment where you feel relaxed and comfortable. Helping you fully focus and enjoy the combinations. Josh pieces everything together brilliantly, he also always makes it realistic to a real fight. Nia is amazing, her classes and energy always make you feel uplifted. Tim has a sharp eye and offers so many options to help refine your style. RP is as natural as they come, humble and motivating. Always offering advice and pushing you on. Also shoutout to Mikey and Nibs, real ones. The team is stacked with top-class coaches and they'll go above and beyond to help if you're willing to take action.

Negative experience: Even though I canceled my membership with them, they still tried to withdraw money from my bank account, these people are complete thieves and scoundrels, I definitely do not recommend you to go here

Fantastic experience: I haven’t seen such a gym with this level of attentive coaches and friendly people before. I thought since I started doing martial arts for the first time in my life, it would be uncomfortable but everyone makes it so easy and they cheer for you along the way. Max and Josh’s MMA classes actually made me come back to them always since they’re never boring despite being challenging. BJJ with Alex and Kickboxing with Rikki are some of my favourite skills classes which is a result of their attention and how easily they explain every concept.

Great classes, excellent coaches - I really enjoy Celio's early morning boxing and kickboxing classes. My son also attends and he is really loving the youth boxing and jiu jitsu. I also used the cryotherapy chamber, Something new for me but I really found very useful. What really sets the facility apart from others are the unbelievably helpful and friendly staff
