Fantastic experience: Gym is filled with quality equipment and there is enough to hit each muscle effectively. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Being open 24/7 is a massive perk and is very helpful! Locked and toilet/shower are always clean!

Negative experience: Warning! I was trying to cancel my membership and was told by the staff to write them a mail within a two weeks notice period. When mailing them well within this period almost 4 weeks before the next month, I was told that it is now too late as the notice period was 30 days. After expressing my unwillingness to pay for that month as it was contradictory to what was clearly communicated, the staff pointed out fine print in the contract and threatened me to use debt collectors to forcefully acquire the next months balance as well if I would not pay. They would also not cancel the contract altogether and accrue more balance on my account over following months as well (which is illegal). I am shocked and deeply disappointed that they would threaten me like this. Absolutely unprofessional.
Hi Kevin, I have taken a look over your account and can see you have signed your contract with us upon joining which would mean you agreed to our cancellation policy of 30 days notice when in a month to month. I can see you requested to cancel your membership on the 31st July meaning that 1st August was your final payment date. The cancellation process starts from the day the email is sent or the form is completed in club as long as all outstanding payment have been made. I don't think you read through your contract thoroughly enough otherwise there wouldn't be any confusion. Many thanks Snap Fitness Bristol Filton

Positive experience: Investigating the venue with a view to become a member. A very helpful lady at reception (Delphine) explained the various membership options and showed me around the whole gym and shower areas. Very impressed with the equipment and overall cleanliness. Once my current gym membership is up in January I will join Snap Fitness.

Fantastic experience: I must say the service in this gym was second to none, I was given a very warm welcome and priceless advice from the staff who are extremely knowledgeable and passionate about fitness, ( Delphine the manager and Zizo the PT ) they made me feel at ease and confident I can achieve my fitness goals. The gym itself has everything you need equipment is easy to navigate and the 24/7 access is perfect for me, a big thank you from me cause I feel like a new women see you soon guys

Fantastic experience: 24/7 and affordable. Doesn't get insanely busy to where equipment isn't available. 2 power racks, 1 of each barbell bench, 1 smith machine and lots of cables. Peak times around 6pm on weekdays.

Fantastic experience: Great Gym with friendly and helpful staff. Signed up to PT sessions with James Kelly, knows his stuff and is very good at personalising training plans. Well qualified and has a genuine passion to help people reach their health goals - would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I have been going here since early in the year and for the past few months I have been training with the personal trainer James Kelly from here. I have to say without his help I wouldn't have achieved nearly as much without him it is well worth the money and I couldn't recommend him enough
Positive experience: Was a great gym but recent staffing issues have led to maintenance not being kept up and classes being sporadic. Hope they can get some more permanent staff. Edit - now they have some staff so hoping it is back on the up but will wait and see before providing better review.

Positive experience: The gym is good but the music is just truly terrible and so loud that you have to deafen yourself with your own headphones. I'm thinking of going elsewhere it's that bad, maybe it's just me.
Negative experience: The Gym is okay but it's scam when you have to cancel the membership because of movement to the area where Snap fitness is not available. I have a 12 month contract and moved to new location Weston-super-mare from Filton. I called and informed them to cancel my membership but I got response that it'll only be possible once I submit my new utility bills, which I did after a month time which is normal. once you provide your utility bill they'll initiate the cancellation but again 1 moth will be considered as a notice period. which means even though you informed everything but still you'll have to pay 2-3 months extra money in the name of membership. I would say don't fall for the trap. I feel like I got cheated... better to go with Pure GYM which is great and have better term and conditions.

Fantastic experience: I joined Snap in 2020 and started PT just before the 2nd lockdown with Cheyenne. Throughout lockdowns I continued my programme via Zoom & Snap social media. I was really nervous to join classes or attempt to use gym equipment without supervision, but Shy and the team have built my confidence up whilst improving my form and understanding of what I am actually doing. Shy has taught me something new each PT session, I am constantly learning and I can't thank her enough for her encouragement. The classes are brilliant and inclusive of membership, which is such good value for money. There is nothing pretentious about this gym, there are no cliques and everyone is made to feel welcome & comfortable. I never have to queue for equipment, even at peak times, and I cannot recommend enough.

Negative experience: If I could give less stars then I would. Rude staff with horrendous customer service skills. Also a company that tries to steal your money. Before signing up go and have a read of all of their 1 star reviews on trustpilot and AVOID!!

Negative experience: They knew lockdown was coming into place and still charged 30 odd quid for a whole month? Even though they knew people would only get 2 days out of it. Madness
Fantastic experience: Signed up in Snap clifton and was using them in 4am gym sessions before work. Discovered the one in Filton was actually easier to get to and more convenient for midnight workouts as parking a motorcycle on a main road in clifton after pub kicking out time was asking for trouble. (twice had to go flying out the gym to drag drunk people off my bike and don't need the agg) I found the snap in Filton has a bigger range of equipment due to the size including more leg machines, ab cruncher and incline bench. It's also quieter for late night sessions meaning no wait times for equipment. Will probably be spending more time at Filton gym now due to convenience (though nothing wrong with the one in clifton where I signed up) Nice clean bathrooms and showers too.

Fantastic experience: I love going to Snap Fitness. Kaz and Kea are very friendly and motivating, the equipment is modern and well maintained. Special mention for Toby my PT. He listens to my aims and puts together fun sessions that challenge but don't break me and teaches me how to safely manage my many niggles. In 8 months I have had a total body, and mindset, transformation. Awesome!!

Positive experience: Fail to see how it’s an awful service as someone previously posted. When choosing a gym you look around get a feel for the place. If it doesn’t suit your needs then go elsewhere. Simple. I’ve even using gyms for over 20 years and this one is fine. Not over run with users it has a great atmosphere and staff seem happy to help. All good.

Fantastic experience: I have been having personal training with Toby for the last 3 months. We have focused on boxing as this is something that I really enjoy. My fitness has increased incredibly and Toby has pushed me each week so work hard and get the results. I cannot thank him enough for all the work he has put into me and continues to do so each week, the sessions are varied and really work you hard. I would reccomend Toby to anyone who is looking to improve there fitness and love for exercise.

Fantastic experience: This is a really great gym that has improved so much since the new management team took over. Kaz and Kea are friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming; offering advice, encouragement and a variety of classes throughout the day/evening. I've had weekly PT sessions with Toby for six months who is professional, supportive and patient. Sessions are challenging but well thought through with a genuine focus on achieving personal goals. Highly recommend Snap Fitness Filton.

Positive experience: Had a great experience receiving technical boxing tuition and strength and conditioning training from Tobias Hacker, a PT at Snap Filton. He quickly created a tailored fitness plan for me and provided top padwork sessions to help me to win my first boxing match. 4 stars as there are no punch bags at the gym itself (though Toby more than made up for it with the jab pads). Hope to keep up that 100% record!

Fantastic experience: Toby has been my PT for about a year now and the sessions are really great. He is very creative and supportive of my goals. We also have a laugh as well which is really important to keep me motivated. Kea and Caz are really friendly too and the gym always has fun challenges on and socials. The gym is well equipped and affordable so i really recommend it.

Fantastic experience: Been having PT sessions with Toby for a few months now, so pleased i made the decision to start training with him. Seeing great progress and still loving every bit of it, can't wait to continue learning more each session. Kea and Justin are also very friendly and always happy to help. Atmosphere and classes at the gym are great, cannot recommend enough, favourite gym by far!

Fantastic experience: Update 13/01/2020 - I've been doing PT with Tobias & using the gym for quite a while now & I have to say this is the first time I've been able to stick to and improve on a fitness regime reliably for ages. I always used to go for a few months and drop out but I've now been going regularly at least three times a week since October/November and still feel like the plan and sessions are helpful, sustainable and getting me what I want. Everyone is friendly and supportive & the atmosphere is welcoming which really helps me feel comfortable working out, especially as someone who still feels like a work in progress when it comes to fitness! In short, it's a really lovely gym I would highly recommend, and if you have the time and energy I'd recommend PT with Tobias (or the others who are also lovely!) to help you get started and figure out a good training schedule to meet your goals! Previous review below :) It's been really lovely and friendly, and the new people managing the place have a good emphasis on the community/classes aspect but will let you get on with it if you need to run out your stress levels either! It's been on a big upwards curve recently and it's got so much more welcoming I'm feeling a lot better about coming in and getting in my workout now :)

Fantastic experience: Ive been with snap fitness Filton for little over a month and I’m very impressed with this gym. I joined after trying out a couple of classes which I really enjoyed, and I find the management to be friendly, welcoming and very informative.
Fantastic experience: The facility is well equipped, everything is clean (including toilets and changing areas), you can find what you want in terms of lessons and the staff is great! Really good experience :)

Fantastic experience: great gym! highly recommend. Have been training for two years and have used various other gyms and this one for equipment and atmosphere is great! Hardly any waiting time for weights. Staff are great, chatty and help you out in anyway possible! Overall great gym!!

Fantastic experience: Snap have been very welcoming since I joined, I jumped in to classes as they were superb - I really enjoyed the community atmosphere and the energy from both the instructors and members. The staff offer a helping hand with anything I need and are always on call for advice and a point in the right direction. I look forward to each session I do here. Also to mention the members evenings are a good laugh each month.

Negative experience: Don't expect any sort of quality treatment at this gym. The staff are disinterested and rude, once you have signed up and paid the membership you are "just another cog in the machine" so to speak. As a student I have to move back home at the end of each year (a trip across the other side of the country) and the cancellation process requires an unreasonably large notice period and your left kidney... After requesting the cancellation form, that I never got, I was then told I would still have to pay for the next months membership as I hadn't filled out the form, that I never received, in time. After trying to explain that the fault was not entirely on my end I received a sarcastic and rude email completely ignoring what I said and threatening me by saying that if I didn't pay for the months membership I can't even use that my debt would be sold to a debt collector and that it would effect my credit score. Awful service, rude staff, unrealistic prices and average facilities. I highly recommend paying the extra £2 a month and going across the road to the DW gym.

Negative experience: Completely unreasonable with payments. Haven’t used the facility in months and they won’t let me cancel without paying for months i haven’t even used the gym. Would recommend other gyms near by as there contracts are clearer and fairer.

Positive experience: Not bad. Not the best, but not bad. Decent mix of cardio, resistance and free weights. Also, a decent size studio for training (e.g. boxing) is also available.
