Fantastic experience: Less class can't book in recpition so it's not as disability friendly and they reduced the most popular classes that was hard to get into before they reduced them

Negative experience: 08 Nov 2024 - Called 13 times throughout the day. It would just ring out, or it would ring for a while, someone would pick up and then immediately hang up.

Positive experience: Went here for a swim today. Gutted to see the spa has shut down. The pool is OK but looks like the wave machine no longer operates either. A sad state of affairs. On the plus side at least the changing rooms were clean and showers are hot.

Fantastic experience: The pools okay but the gym is amazing and Very fun I recommend going the atmosphere is really nice

Negative experience: I've been a member of the Lagoon for nearly 10 years and use the gym regularly. On Monday 19 August I was there around 4.15 and was really appalled at the number of young teenagers there- some looked 12 years old. There was screaming and carry on- pushing each other about and hogging the machines. A senior member of staff had to speak to some boys who were not wearing the correct gloves. I had to ask two young teens to move off the machines as they were sitting on their phones and chatting to pals. There were way too many teenagers in the gym. Schools have to adhere to H n S rules in terms of numbers- in gym halls, cafeterias etc why didn't the Lagoon do this? Surely the reception staff can tell if there are too many people in the gym- when I was in the youngsters were streaming in in groups. Unacceptable. Unless the Lagoon management can do something about this I don't see me returning anytime soon. Certainly not between 4 and 5.30 on weekdays and not in a Saturday.

Positive experience: Great pools. Lockers could do with fixing/updating but overall a great pool especially with kids

Fantastic experience: Staff are great and the 7 o'clock swimmers are all great guys

Positive experience: Attended the recent Vegan Festival, held at the Lagoon Leisure Centre, nice place, plenty parking, Festival was was well organised.

Negative experience: Absolutely disgusting baby changing unit over flowing and little boys in next locker trying grab my daughters feet horrible

Fantastic experience: Small but amazing for kids and parents. Lovely atmosphere. Old but very clean. The hair drier section is not working properly just 3 of 9 are in use.

Positive experience: Friendly leisure centre. Great classes. Gym equipment needs a refurb, hence 4 stars. Possible refurb incoming according to a staff member.

Negative experience: Only one member of Staff on at the counter who was too busy talking to someone while I was waiting to get seeing too before I entered to get through to the pool area.

Fantastic experience: Lagoon swimming classes are available every 8 weeks but it's extremely difficult to get in. Also because Reception staff don't know how to access the new sign ups on the system, which defies plain logic :/ Beginners classes cost around £35 per month for half hour once a week.

Fantastic experience: Spectator to my son and wee grandson. This facility was absolutely spotless. It's a long time since myself or my son have found any public pool and changing rooms so clean. Thankyou! Unfortunately, spectators have to access their seating area through the changing rooms and along poolside. A sign only requests we remove outdoor shoes. How any adult thinks it's ok to enter pool area with outdoor shoes on is beyond me but they do. I asked 2 to take boots off today and boy were they annoyed. So come on management either get spectators better access or don't allow them in with shoes on!!

Positive experience: I have a gym/swim membership . Gym is excellent . Pool changing area desperately needs attention . Many locker doors missing/broken . Many intact doors have no key. Took me 4 attempts to find locker that accepted my coin and locked .This past week only 2 out of 9 hairdryers are working !

Negative experience: Went for COVID injection how do you review that?

Fantastic experience: Excellent night made even better with a comprehensive win for Ross Trainer over a worthy opponent from Spain. Bar was reasonably priced, too.. Double smirnoff and Fresh Orange, Can of Bud (500ml), and a can of coke 10 quid. Perfect.

Fantastic experience: The water has had the temperature increased, so a big plus for parents. Great for kids.

Fantastic experience: The lagoon is always a great place to visit its becoming the hub of paisley taking front stage for all sports .swimming here is very convenient for me and my family .

Negative experience: Only complaint is that they let high school kids use the gym and changing rooms with the latter making for a very uncomfortable experience and privacy issues. Don’t think this should be allowed, especially for paying members needing a space to change and shower privately

Positive experience: The pool is good fun and we always enjoy a visit. The toilets at the pool are quite grubby though. My kids do swimming lessons here, and if highly recommend them. Well priced and the instructors are great.

Fantastic experience: This park is like stepping into a fairy tale! The whimsical sculptures and play areas make it a magical experience for children and adults alike. The staff even dress up as fantastical characters, adding to the enchantment. Don't miss the storytelling sessions by the giant tree.

Positive experience: Really nice leisure centre. The pool area is a little dated but great for a swim. It was empty at 2pm on a Tuesday. Staff are great, changing facilities are clean. The cafe is strangely expensive though.

Negative experience: Was dropping someone off for their Covid vaccination; didn't realise you have to pay for parking!!!

Fantastic experience: My 2 kids are loving their swimming lessons, friendly teachers and making good progress

Positive experience: For a toddler it was great, the pool and flume is ideal. No problems with showers or changing rooms. My only criticism is that some areas could do with a power wash.

Positive experience: Been today for swimming with my son and his friend. The place is absolutely lovely helpful staff, great pools and slide. Apart from the water pool temperature.. I felt cold all the time also we could see everyone around not very happy about that. The showers are not too hot and poweful. I won't be back for swimming but I really want to try de classes and the gym. It's very easy to get there by train, buses and car.

Fantastic experience: Great gym with loads to choose from but it would be ten times more amazing you add more equipment e.g. Bench Racks, Squat Racks, Hack Squats, Calf Raise Machines, Lying Hamstring Curl Machine.

Positive experience: Nice pool, maybe the water needs a bit of a clean but I was visiting mid afternoon during the school holidays and it was busy so maybe that is why things were floating in the water. There is also a flume but think the wave machine is broken. The pool is showing its age though. Lots of broken lockers and some broken tiling however it is okay. Mixed shower area and changing area. Disabled changing and shower area. Plenty of hairdryers as well. Concessions are available for unemployed people, those over 60 and those with disabilities. There is a cafe that closes 3pm weekdays and 2pm at weekends. The snacks are nice and reasonably priced and staff nice.

Negative experience: My 5 month Grandson got hit on the head with his mummy is the kids pool with kids firing objects up in the air. Shocking they left for the babies safety

Positive experience: Good sports centre with swimming, halls, gym and coffee shop. The swimming pool is very cold and can be uncomfortable if you have young kids who arent swimming. The small pool is often closed for lessons.

Positive experience: Was there for dance competition. Staff there vert helpful. Only minor complaint was th cafe shut at 2ish.

Positive experience: Took our P6 kids for their swimming lessons,found the seating area for spectators uncomfortably hot,& the fact we're not allowed to sit with a cuppa a bit off putting,as we're behind the pools so no children around us.

Positive experience: Was actually visiting the library next door but I'm sure this place is nice used to come here when I was younger.

Negative experience: Poor customer services,I made frantic efforts to register my Son for swimming lessons on March 3,2023.The Phone line has a Very poor audio to transfer me to the appropriate department and when i was connected eventually,no one pick up my calls. I went there later that day but I was told there's no more slot available. The receptionist didn't show any emphaty rather she told me they are fully booked,that I should check back in 8 weeks.

Positive experience: A bit concerned for those with mobility issues going to the spectators area with floors being wet and slippy . Perhaps suitable matting could be put down

Positive experience: Good pool for young kids, they can run in from the waters edge and play in the shallow end. The flume doesn't work with a baby on your lap though, I kept getting stuck!

Positive experience: My daughter attends for swimming lessons, which are good. The pool is a great size, however facilities within the swimming pool area could do with a revamp and pool tends to be quite chilly. Poolside toilets aren't the cleanest either. New cafe and play area in the entrance is a good recent addition. Reception staff always helpful.

Negative experience: Poor, dirty facilities. Staff have no interest in customer service, just getting the place shut as quick as possible.

Fantastic experience: Lockers a bit outdated some with no keys.. Staff amazing really friendly and helpful. Was nervous about going on my own but felt at ease from the reception staff and class instructor

Positive experience: Friendly staff, relatively quiet during week so great for a little toddler. Clean and tidy. Update June 23-pretty much the same, prices have gone up a little and I'm sure the pool water was cooler. Cost of living eh!

Fantastic experience: Beautiful leisure centre in the heart of paisley, it comprises of a fitness centre, swimming pool, a big auditorium as well. It is well looked after and have activities for kids.

Positive experience: Nice pool, albeit a bit basic. The lifeguards are a bit bossy but other than that I had a nice swim. Showers were really powerful and warm and changing facilities were clean and tidy.

Negative experience: Pool was clean but it was cold even the changing area was cold the section from the pool to the shower was freezing I ended up with the cold for a fortnight afterwards cafe was good though

Positive experience: Pool was busy, 4 or 5 attendants working around the pool and rotated occasionally. The flume was open and the ques were short enough. The place was clean enough and all the showers seemed to work fine. But there where a few lockers with missing keys and doors. But overall a great place to let the kids get in the water for an hour or so!

Positive experience: Took my son. Upset to see the waves are still off, and so are the sprinkler/jets. Many groups of Teenagers pile into the kids/family area, battering each other with the foam, where I wanted to teach my son how to swim. Go when the schools are on,if you can.

Negative experience: Kids pool was freezing, my baby was chittering. It was also filled with teenagers messing around while lifeguard watched so we were unable to stay in pool. Also found the floor very slippery. Didn't have a good experience. Probably better for older kids rather than a young family with a baby.

Positive experience: First time I have taken my son to the Lagoon pool. We had a very enjoyable experience. In that said, the changing rooms could do with a refurbishment. Broken lockers, locker doors hanging off their hinges. They also need more family changing rooms and freshenened up. They look tired and dreary. Otherwise a lovely venue.

Positive experience: Not quite the pool I remember from years gone by. Very run down locker area and pool seems to be missing lots of tiles. Shame

Negative experience: Only had 45 minutes in the pool due to restrictions we would have easily stayed in for good 2 hours if we could have the kids loved the slide and had lots of fun and were very disappointed to have to leave after such a short time.

Fantastic experience: Long standing leisure destination of choice for the people of Paisley & other local towns and villages. Multi-purpose gym hall in use during recent visit as NHS Vaccination Centre, good light, heat and usage of the space.

Positive experience: I can't say much about the Lagoon Leisure Centre as I was only there for my Covid-19 booster jag. The staff seemed helpful and friendly though.

Positive experience: Went there for my booster on Monday. Quite a large queue but plenty staff on hand and I was in and out before my actual time.

Fantastic experience: Very clean. Local vaccination centre which is run by both NHS and military staff who are all very busy but are doing a first class job
