Fantastic experience: Staff on the reception and in the swimming pool are very good.

Positive experience: great place to have a swim but also swimming with gang activity HAHAHA!!! get it? but seriously watch out.

Fantastic experience: This council run gym and swimming pool is an excellent facility. I have been going to the gym for several months now and have really enjoyed the first class range of equipment on offer. I generally go just before lunchtime when there are only a few people in the gym. I have used the swimming pool only once and again the charging facilities are very good and the pool itself was excellent with only a few people in the pool during an early afternoon session.

Fantastic experience: This is a great little pool. I do the 11:15 Tuesday and Thursday 30-min seniors swim for £1:70. Free bus pass from Donnington. One lane is for solid lengths, which suits me. I can get about 1Km in the half hour.

Negative experience: If you want to go for an ice bath Newport pool is the place to go, water was literally freezing , I'm not one to exaggerate but I saw 2 children literally shivering with purple lips.

Fantastic experience: Staff are always attentive and welcoming. Both of my children have their swimming lessons here, Kerry and Luke are really friendly and approachable :) Very clean changing rooms - fantastic experiences every time.

Positive experience: A lovely clean pool, a bit choppy due to the design but the massive and best advantage of this pool is the warm changing room, individual cubicles and secure lockers! Friendly staff too!

Negative experience: I paid for my wife's annual pass and twice now she has returned home after having an unpleasant experience with a member of staff. Clearly some of your staff need to think very carefully how they speak to their customers. This is not the only review online of staff being unpleasant. I look forward to my wife speaking to the Manager in the morning, get your customer service sorted!

Positive experience: Local town swimming pool and gym area. Under the chain Aspirations. Which when joined, allows you to use various pools and gyms, within the Telford and Wrekin area. Covid compliant, with friendly and knowledgeable staff. As a foot note, you are able to pay as you go in regards to pool usage.

Negative experience: The miss trunchbull looking lifeguard ruined the first time we took our son swimming with her rude tone. Perhaps she should be given more training on how to speak to people rather than barking at people. Wouldn’t recommend this swimming pool unless you want to go swimming whilst feeling like your in some kind of military camp.

Negative experience: The swimming experience was perfect, no complaints there, however everyone was told to leave the pool 10 minutes early. Then, as I was leaving the changing rooms, I heard members of staff being negative and finally the vending machine took my money, and the staff did nothing. I do recommend the pool (if the lifeguard is there), but do avoid the vending machines. EDIT: Also, I saw a naked child. Plus, the lifeguard kept leaving randomly for around 15 minutes which is not safe and I could’ve drowned

Positive experience: Good prices for swimming, love the swim fit classes they are so much fun and the instructors great, only downside is the lack of gym classes and expensive gym membership

Negative experience: The centre has been closed for a while due to Covid 19, which is only right. However, they refuse to cancel contract for swimming. I pay £25 a month for unlimited swimming. Effectively, I am paying to swim even though it is not possible to do so, which is only wrong. Morally reprehensible!

Positive experience: Great pool with wonderful facilities and helpful staff. The pool just appears to be cold all the time. I have heard this opinion from other sources too. You'll have to dress your toddler up in a wet suit if you're going to stay in there longer than half an hour

Positive experience: Nice swimming pool, warm and clean! Only downside is they did not have any baby bottle warming facilities. Not even a staff kettle, which I can hardly believe because who doesn't have a cuppa at work?! Suppose it's not a problem for some people because most babys drink it cold but mine always brings the bottle back up. (My own fault for not bringing my flask.)

Positive experience: Very good pool. Gym has the basics and does very well, machines are not always working, need to work on that. It’s my local gym so I am a regular and the staff are awesome very helpful and friendly. Locker rooms are great spacious and private. A lot to offer considering the space they have available.

Fantastic experience: Richard Lees comment but a smile on my face. As what he put down seemed to be the staff doing something about it. I wouldn't like to swim in sick and guessing if you had to wait for the toddler session for 20 mins it might of been sold out due to the numbers being aloud in the water at any one time.Really busy. I can total understand explaining this to a toddler would be hard thou. My dealings with Newport pool are generally good. most of the staff doing the best they can with the staffing aloud.

Negative experience: Absolutely fuming!!! Came last weekend with our toddler, spent 5 minutes in the pool before we all got asked to leave because someone had been sick. Got refused a refund but were offered a free session the following sunday. You trying explaining to a toddler why they can't go swimming. So today is that free session, queued for 20 minutes before staff told the queue they were full and not allowing anyone else in. So my afternoon is going to be spent listening to a screaming baby because the staff at the local pool can't deal with the situation. Furious

Negative experience: Disappointed to arrive at the site today (31st Dec)at 5:15pm and find that it is shut, AGAIN! The web page clearly states that it opens until 8pm today. There is no sign in the window to show xmas holiday opening hours, it's been a real lottery over the xmas period as to when they open or close. Are they open again on Monday 2nd Jan? Even the web site gives no clue. Surely as a place that opens 7 days a week it would make no difference what day of the week xmas day falls on. Just trying to get fitter but right now I just feel like eating lard sandwiches and chocolate in protest!

Positive experience: Pool and facilities are great, the air conditioning in the gym can be unreliable so take a big towel and plenty of water! Since cancelled my membership, its too warm to exercise properly. Sad to leave though.
