Dingwall Leisure Centre

Positive experience: Enjoy the gym but I’d love to take my toddler to the swimming pool but it looks so dirty and grimy. A shame because otherwise a great place.

Fantastic experience: We visited on a Saturday with our grandson for the children's fun hour. It was of course noisy and busy but great fun. The building and facilities are clean and bright with staff who are clearly on the ball and friendly.

Positive experience: Juste pour prendre une douche et se raser ça fait le job. Je n'ai pas vu le reste mais la partie douche lavabo et WC est propre. 4.4£/2p l'entrée c'est très correct. Douches collectives, pas de cabines individuelles et les casiers ne ferment pas mais les douches sont juste a côté.

Positive experience: Use the pool regularly. Very good. Clean and bright. Good range of open and lane swimming sessions.

Positive experience: Water was a wee bit cold down at the shallow end. But overall facilities are good. I go early so lovely and quiet.

Positive experience: Please someone update the pool area tidy the outside slide otherwise apart from that it's not just about the gym ( that's updated !) It's a leisure centre the word will spread its dingwall it talks it would be heaving if found someone to pay for updating the pool let's get back on track with this lovely town you can afford to

Positive experience: Really nice facilities, good gym and nice pool let down by staff and management. Never open when you want it to be. Closed during afternoons at weekends when you have time to go to the gym and kids want to swim. Swimming lessons have bigger breaks than school holidays that I didn't think was possible. Tube for kids seems to be permanently out of action and pool seems to be closed every other week for essential maintainance. They're living the highlife I guess!

Negative experience: Didn't use any of the facilities as only popped in to have me jabs. Sorry

Positive experience: I enjoy the leisure centre, but it could use some updating. I have seen doors that are nearly rotted through in the wetside changing room.

Positive experience: Fantastic leisure centre with clean facilities that are well maintained. Loads of classes going on daily. The swimming pool is pretty much always busy though so you have to be willing to "swim around" rather than your usual lengths.

Positive experience: Friendly staff around, gym is brilliant for what it has, tho a lot off the kit is neglected, management doesn't seem to care or hear the voice of the public for needed kit.

Positive experience: Overall great facility however frequent machine faults, minimal background music and uncomfortable room temperatures result in a boring atmosphere in comparison to other gyms nearby.

Fantastic experience: Excellent public leisure centre with great facilities, 25m pool with flume and steam room, large multi-sport games hall, fitness room, weights room, mult-purpose spinning studio and friendly staff. I use it most days.

Fantastic experience: The aqua class on a Friday at 1230 is great. Good spa and steam room for after too.

Negative experience: Better now its had a new roof. However, this place is run by the council for who's benefit nobody knows. Bylaws, rules and regulations chuntered at you at least once a visit. Check to see if you are eligible and available for the odd and rare times the pool is available (opening hours to suit school and staff) before you sign up. Cheap, but so is going for a walk (which is probably what you will end up doing as its more fun than coming here).
