Negative experience: The hotel attached is immigration hotel. Items from my care have been taken and I regularly get harassed in the car park.. stay clear

Fantastic experience: My son started swimming lessons a few weeks ago and he loves it here. The pool is warmer than most we have used and he likes that it’s not really deep. His confidence has definitely grown I would highly recommend this pool if your kids are nervous in the water. The staff were really helpful when I asked them if I could swim on weekends with my other children too and worked out what option would be best price wise if I wanted to do this regularly they had several options and we found the family membership is probably the best one for us. I will be returning to join next week.

Fantastic experience: Charlie and his team always welcome you with warm smiles. A friendly team who are always there to help & advise you. Lots of up to date equipment in the gym, sauna & steam room, and pool there to help you cool down after gym or classes or enjoy the great aqua sessions that are on 3 times a week. A great variety of classes available and there is always someone around to talk to. I have met some great people since joining the club. Keep up the good work Charlie & co xox

Fantastic experience: I visited with my friend who is a member. This club is a little gem of a find I never knew it existed. Im more of a gym girl than swim and the gym. it had 2 cable machines and my favourite the stair climber along with all the free weights, resistance and other cardio machines so it was more than sufficient for me. You can see the pool from the gym, I did not use it but it did look very inviting so I may come back next time I visit my friend.

Positive experience: Not a bad gym to be fair. Gym floor is huge, decent equipment, nice changing rooms. Showers not the best, steam room wasn’t working and the jacuzzi has now fully closed and been removed. Nice and relaxing health club and good value for money compared with David Lloyd

Negative experience: The pool is lovely and warm but so small and there are constant lessons even if the holidays. If you want to swim properly on a regular basis find a bigger pool. You can only comfortably get 6 people in the pool and that's if there aren't lessons!. Only stayed a month. Not good.

Positive experience: Small but has most of the equipment needed

Negative experience: My partner was a member here. She was only here a short while , always something going wrong with the pool or spa ( heating / other ) . Got told to finish up on the running machine because it was too noisy for the Pilates class. Not very friendly staff. She’s to polite to complain so she left .

Fantastic experience: Great, clean, quiet gym. It's great for "me" time.

Negative experience: This is without a doubt the worst maintained gym and swimming pool that I have ever been to. The swimming pool heater keeps breaking down resulting in it being freezing as well as the wager grills being covered in green sludge.. The sauna is not much better with it regularly breaking down and the hot tub has been out of action for months as thr club cannot afford to replace it. The changing rooms are not well cleaned with locker doors and sharp tiles. The club was recently closed for a refurbishment which just appeared to be a lick of paint. The club is attached to a home office immigration hotel where you are constantly harassed by security asking why you are there. I have asked for a refund of my membership which was refused by Charlie the manager so I will be taking the company to court. Avoid this at all costs!

Negative experience: Went along two weeks ago for a show around to see if I might like to join. The pool was out of action on that day .I was given a voucher to come back and try facilities when all mended. I called this morning to make sure all was open and it was. I have now just been to find that after I called the pool is closed . Because no prospect details had been taken nobody could have let me know. Won't be bothering again. Poor customer service

Positive experience: Since under new management this gym has improved a lot. The staff are lovely, cannot fault them at all. New refurbished gym looks 100x better with new equipment. Could do with a pool refurb, but overall, massive improvement!

Negative experience: ——— The place is very ugly and neglected Saunas (tails) and swimming pool gym all carpets need a complete renovation I would not give more than £20 a month for this place….. +++++the staff are friendly ;)

Negative experience: Everything is falling apart. No Hot water. No air conditioning. Staff don’t care about anything apart from messing around with each other. Not worth the money The old manger took cash and put in his pocket and then cancelled my membership. Avoid. Crooks.

Negative experience: I would not recommend this gym to anyone! I received appalling customer service from this club. I was a member of the gym there for over 6 months but when they closed for covid reasons I continued to be charged a sum of £70. When I requested a refund and a cancellation of my membership I was ignored both over email and phone. I then visited the club in person and was told to contact the regional manager who has since ignored multiple emails. So I have had £70 taken from my account, during which time the gym was closed to all members, and it was only after I contacted my bank to have the direct debit cancelled that the payments stopped. I have now joined the gym at the Redbourn recreation centre and it is amazing, better equipment, better customer service, better price and better staff!

Negative experience: Very unwelcoming experience; they seem to provide membership only for those with a local address, which is not mentioned on their website; feels utterly discriminatory; I wasn’t asking for a loan, after all; why all this non-businesslike red tape

Positive experience: Swim lesson was great, but member of staff asked us to wait in reception for our teacher to arrive, she had already arrived and so made us late for class. I only knew she was already there when I checked myself poolside.

Positive experience: I'm a member of the club and happy to be back after a long time in lockdown. So nice to see other members again who have become friends. Swimming pool seems to be working fine with only 5 people at each session sometimes less. Looking forward to things returning to a new "normal " as I miss the classes.

Fantastic experience: Became a member just under a month and am enjoying it. Staff are friendly and members insure a very cosy and welcoming community. Haven't experienced any classes but from what I can see, they seem to be very good. It's in a good location and has parking on site. Might suggest updating the decor, but all in all, there's a good vibe when you walk in and provides it's purpose... Have a try and see for yourself!
