Positive experience: Overall I would recommend for the pool only. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and professional. The pool was very relaxing and a good temperature. Only downside is the massage room is upstairs, so you have to go in a lift after you’ve been in the pool with a gown, wet. The massage room is just a hotel room with the curtains drawn. It was cold and having wet hair from the pool made it worse. We weren’t allowed to have a massage and then pool as we asked prior to our visit, it had to be pool and then massage. Anyway strange room, no nice smell of oils. Both of the consultants were so lovely and professional so 5 stars for that. There was a screen in the room with a whole load of pillows and duvet covers stuffed behind it in a huge pile, probably from when they converted the bedroom into the massage area. Very odd. One of the strangest areas I’ve ever been in for a massage. It was a shame & it made me feel uncomfortable like being in a storage room! Other points to raise. £6 each charge for a robe and slippers. I wasn’t offered water before or after the massage as I just don’t think they do this. No selection of teas or other products. Changing room area was small, only one hairdryer.

Negative experience: Dreadful experience from the start with reception staff raising her voice at me to hurry up filling out the form as I was running late for the massage. I was there 5 mins before my appointment. This really ruined the experience as during the whole massage all I could think about was her grating, rude tone. The massage was excellent otherwise! After the massage I went to the reception to be showed to the lockers and the other facilities. I waited there with my belongings in my hands for someone to show me in as the staff was handing out bubbly left and right. The lockers have zero privacy from the open door towards the corridor and men’s lockers, to the spa door that opens directly towards the changing area and the code to the locker which was told to me out loud by the staff with the disclaimer “don’t worry if you forget it, I’ll know it” - so will anyone within a 10m radius actually… The spa facilities were okay: steam room and sauna clean but very small (3/4 people max). The pool was filthy with all the oil from the massage just floating on top, couldn’t see my feet, very murky water. Couldn’t clean that off either as hot water on the showers didn’t work. I wasn’t offered a glass of Prosecco while I was there, until I was pressing the lift button to leave. I actually can’t believe such a posh hotel in the heart of Shoreditch offers such an abysmal spa service. It was more annoying than relaxing. The 2 stars are for the massage.

Fantastic experience: We had our anniversary with my partner and we chose to spend some time together to refresh and relax ourselves! It was the best experience I've ever had so far. We had an hour to use the spa facilities like the steam sauna, dry sauna, and a nice pool with a jacuzzi! Also, we had a massage in a nice double room with the lovely staff Ilona and Sundar, who were professional and very good at their job! I highly recommend it. I will definitely go back!

Negative experience: Spa facilities were very Mouldy and damp. Also very un clean. The pool area smelt very bad of damp and there was black mould up the corner of the wall. It needs a good renovation. The woman's changing rooms were also quite run down and dirty hair all over the sinks pretty grim. For the money I paid it was not worth it and I won't be coming back. I have been to the other branches before and had a grate time so was very disappointed. They had also over booked themselves when I went and the place is not big enough to be overbooked. It is quite small and there are hardly any chairs.

Negative experience: A bit of an odd slightly post-apocalyptic vibe here. I had a gift package of massage plus 1hr spa and glass of Prosecco and can’t comment on value for money as it was a gift. Massage was pretty good if a little bit weird (rotating your ears?). Staff were polite and attentive. They asked if I wanted to hire flip flops and dressing gown, be aware that is an extra cost. Spa was pretty rundown and poorly decorated. Shower was extremely hot (thanks for the warning signs!) and I spent about 10 minutes trying to get a good temperature. Shower gel bottles were broken. Mould was visible on the shower walls. Toilet next to pool had no hand soap and the dryer didn’t work. Sauna was ok but not very hot (just under 70 degrees) and there was no cold shower to enjoy afterwards. Steam room smelled bad and wasn’t hot or steamy. The pool was fine and the jets were on, but it was quite dark and a bit dingy in there. The decor just seemed very grey and cheap.

Positive experience: Spa Day for me and my pal. Arrived early but fire alarm went off and had to come back after 20 minutes. Went back and we were escorted to the lifts. Nice reception and warm welcome by Vlad. He explained what was to be expected. The masseuse was good, I was very relaxed after. The masseuse was polite at all times. Then we went to the sauna, steam room and had a glass of Prosecco in the jacuzzi. All staff were polite and the premises were ok. Will come back again.

SPA con scarsissima manutenzione, alcune docce non funzionanti la regolazione caldo-freddo, Asciugamani vecchi e alcuni anche rotti. Pavimento dei bagni pieno di acqua. Accappatoio e ciabatte a pagamento. Massaggi ottimi da 5 stelle Nel complesso esperienza da non ripetere.

Negative experience: Many showers not working correctly, very small spa. Really bad experience. The massage instead was good, I'd recommend just doing that.. but the spa facilities so unpleasant it ruined the whole experience. Water all over the changing rooms, hair dryer not working, ripped towels, just not a place you'd choose to relax. Small sauna area but functional though really minimal. Need to pay extra for slippers and bathrobe hire. Will not come back

Negative experience: We originally booked to go to the one in Liverpool Street. The day before we were meant to go we get an email to say there is maintaince work being done and they have “upgraded” us to their new spa in bank. This was certainly not an upgrade. I had no choice but to say yes as it was the day before and it was my boyfriend’s birthday. We got there and both saunas weren’t working, both steam rooms were not working. The facilities area is awfully small too and no where really to relax when it’s so small with only limited beds to sit on. When I complained via email, I have been ignored several times since. The customer service is awful. I finally got a reply after some time to which they said we could have complimentary 2 hours to use the spa facilities. I have replied to ask if this can not be in the bank one as we had an awful experience there, but no reply. I have been emailing back for 2 weeks no and still nothing. Really appalled by the awful experience as a whole, and the awful customer service experience. Baring in mind we paid over £120 and it is definitely not what we paid for and can’t seem to get a reply to compensate it.

Positive experience: Massage hear was amazing the facilities however were a bit of a let down. Needs a good renovation. Damp on a lot of the paint work in ladies changing room and pool area. Shower head also needs to delimescaled water came out like spider and web.

Fantastic experience: From the moment I made the appt to the moment I left, the staff have been attentive and highly professional. Good phone manner, excellent service throughout my visit and even when I left, the staff were friendly, polite and polished in manner. The spa is intimate, and designed in a way that prevents overcrowding - the only thing they can improve on is adding more recliners and less chair. Excellent spa facilities with the right air and water temperature. I will certainly be back!

Negative experience: How is this spa even 4 stars It has nice decor in the reception however, once you go through the spa doors my god. It’s like you’ve walked into a dingy place. It’s unclean, the pool smells like damp. There’s damp on the walls The sauna is the only thing decent The steam room is disgusting and unclean - it also does not steam up well. There also was not enough beds for everyone only 6 beds -_- definitely weren’t relaxing at all Will not be coming back The smell of the pool was the most off putting thing it smelt close to sewage Disappointed as this is not what is advertised

Positive experience: The showers were freezing cold there was no hot water anywhere in the facilities, the pool was cold too and looked like it needed refurbishing. It’s a shame because the massage was good but the facilities ruined the whole experience. We were also meant to have a glass of bubbly but we never got it.

Negative experience: My experience was very delusional, I had an hour of spa access and an hour of massage. The spa overall was “ok” but the water wasn’t properly clean. The massage was horrible, it looks like the masseur didn’t have enough experience and in the end he kept wasting time trying to massage my head. The taps of both shower were broken, so I wasn’t unable to have hot water. After a very cold shower I’ve realised that they don’t provide an hairdryer, so I had to leave with long wet hair. I will never raccomend this place. The only good thing was the guy who assist me at my arrival (dark long curly hair) he was nice and polite.

Fantastic experience: 4 of us felt we needed some pampering and booked our closest which happens to be this amazing place. We were welcomed by Broad smiles and felt at easy straight away. The place is spotless and doesn't feel like you are minus -4 floors in a hotel. The pool is on the small size but nice and warm. There are two small sauna and steam room which again are very clean. The best part of course was the massage we booked. Michael was an amazing young man who was very professional and I left feeling on cloud 9 ☁️. I would like to thank the staff yet again and can confirm will be visiting on a monthly basis because why not!!!!

Negative experience: ABSOLUTELY APPALLING CUSTOMER SERVICE! I booked this for my partners birthday 1 month advance. We travelled 1 hour and got a babysitter for my daughter. 5 minutes prior to parking my car Ellie from Melody Spa called to say one of the massage staff called in sick. Telling us we could only get 25 minutes each massage instead of the hour we booked. Also this would not be a couples massage but an individual massage which we would have to take turns. This is completely unacceptable. We had to ask for a complementary offer instead of them offering it for their mistake which was a again completely not acceptable. Jemma (manager) and Ellie did not make any effort to redeem the inconvenient situation. WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME!

Fantastic experience: Staff were courteous and attentive, as can be expected from a luxury 5 star facility. Apologies but I have forgotten her name, the masseuse was intuitive and picked up on a back injury that I'd sustained through training. She did her best to relax the knot, and I felt a lot looser leaving the massage than I did when I went in. Thank you. Re the spa, the pool was beautiful though I'd recommend having the pool lights on, as it was difficult to see under water. Also, something needs to be done about the shower temperature. No matter which shower cubicle I used or how cold I tried to make it, the water was very hot.

Negative experience: Worst massage I have ever had. The guy was breathing extremely heavy. I could hear his phone receive messages and him stopping to look over. Rather than actually massaging, it’s like he was wiping off crumbs from my back. I felt worse leaving than when I walked in.

Negative experience: Do not waste your money. I visited today. The massage was nice but there was no relaxing music, the lights wasn’t dimmed and I feel I didn’t get my full time. The facilities are extremely basic. The steam room wasn’t working, neither was the jet. The pool had a terrible smell to it! There was nowhere to sit around the pool! Lack of chairs. I asked for my glass of bubbly which was never bought to us! The showers was freezing cold having asked 4 times for assistant yet nothing! Not impressed at all!

Positive experience: Massage was great but less than 50 minutes (i timed it) Pool has limescale on the wall or something similar. Mirror on the wall is literally peeling off. Asked staff to turn on the jacuzzi style bubbles around the side of the pool and they never did. Massage was booked for 5pm as per my email and never started until 5:25pm - we had places to go afterwards so inconvinient. Pool cleaner guy started cleaning the pool whilst i was in it . Not 5*

Negative experience: I recently visited Beauty & Melody spa Shoreditch and had a mixed experience. Unfortunately, the initial impression was marred by unwelcoming receptionists. Unlike other guests, I wasn't offered a complimentary drink with my package, which was disappointing. The massage session was equally underwhelming; despite expressing discomfort, the male therapist applied excessive pressure, making the experience painful and upsetting. The saving grace was the enjoyable sauna and the refreshing swimming pool/Jacuzzi. Overall, my visit fell short of expectations, and improvements in customer service and massage techniques are needed for a more satisfying spa experience.

Had a birthday planned taking my mum out the hotel is lovely the spa is also lovely receptionist was friendly and we enjoyed an hour of spa facilities including steam room sauna and jacuzzi in the pool great size pool with bubbly than had the best massage and facial by Mariam and Shif apologize for spelling error but they were great throughly enjoyed and pleased with whole experience have recommended to friend and will definitely return. Positive experience: I booked a 50 minute treatment with bubbly and spa access for my birthday. The booking process was simple. On arrival I was greeted warmly by the gentleman with long brown hair on reception and a blonde lady. Both of whom were lovely. The reception area was lovely, changing room very clean and spacious enough. The spa is a good size and I had it to myself at the time I had booked. The pool was lovely and warm and the sauna was amazing. I didn't use the steam room. Unless my eyes deceive me there was no jacuzzi and that's what I was looking forward to. My massage was amazing! Miriam is a credit to the spa. She made me feel comfortable straight away, asked me my expectations and healthcare questions before we proceeded and asked me numerous times if the pressure was ok. I nearly fell asleep she was that good! The room was a bit small and not as opulent as it could have been but was still nice. As a side note I'd like to let black and brown people know that this spa is a safe space. I say that because a lot of time unfortunately we have to vet social/beauty locations before we attend or we attend and are not made to feel welcome or are treated in a subtly or openly unacceptable manner. I'd like to assure minority groups that every member of staff I encountered here was warm and welcoming. My whole experience was a pleasure. Thank you beauty and melody shoreditch!

Negative experience: The massage was the worst I have ever had. The masseuse was massaging very quickly rather than slowly and carefully. It was not relaxing at all. I asked him not to touch my right arm because I had just got a new tattoo that day and he said that he would avoid it but he must have forgotten during the massage and massaged both my arms including over the tattoo. I’ve had many massages before and this was the worst massage I have ever had. The masseuse didn’t ask once if the pressure was ok. It was extremely painful at times which I have never experienced before during a massage. I was flinching and twitching in pain and he never asked if I wanted the pressure to be lighter. The room was quiet I could barely hear the music, I could hear the masseuse breathing over it!!! I felt too awkward to say something (which is partly my fault, but I have always been asked in many massages before if the pressure is ok so I was waiting for that). My partner was asked if the pressure was ok by their masseuse but mine never asked. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

Negative experience: TERRIBLE. I had a voucher to go to the spa and when i turned up they had closed for refurbishment but hadn't let me know. I still haven't receieved a refund and now they stopped answering my emails. Its been 6 months since they promised me a refund. REALLY BAD SERVICE. Don't do it.

Negative experience: Booked a 1h.40m treatment and spa experience with a glass of bubbly as a birthday treat for myself - I booked what I thought was a 5* experience, to say I was extremely disappointed would be an understatement. The facilities are not worthy of more than a 3*. The treatment room was mediocre - very plain, poorly decorated - definitely not 5*. The changing room was dirty, and the spa too small, poorly maintained, and fifty.

Negative experience: I didn't actually got to the spa, because I was refused to be rescheduled as I was few hours late to notify them that I won't be able to make it due to the extreme weather conditions. Terrible customer service - no human discretion or understanding. Very disappointing as I have lost my voucher I have received as a birthday gift :(

Negative experience: I booked once for my best friend birthday and regretfully we discovered only at our arrival that most of the facilities were out of order. We have been offered to come back a second time, so I did came back and again most of the facilities weren’t working. I called several time to make sure it was working and I have been reassured it was even though it wasn’t. I report my disappointment to the receptionist which didn’t share empathy for myself or for the fact I paid for those services! I requested to speak with a manager which apparently wasn’t there at the time and should have contacted me to discuss this further, however as per today, over a month later, I still haven’t received any email or call. Furthermore, I would add that the pool area is very small and quite old. I wouldn’t recommend. Highly disappointed.

Negative experience: Getting in touch with them to book a spa day over the past few weeks have proven to be challenging. It’s worse than a GP surgery. As I write this I’ve been on hold for 15 mins. Previous attempts ended with me being cut off. I’ve emailed and recieved their email telling me how to call them even after I stated I wasn’t able to get through. V frustrating.

Fantastic experience: Our kids bought us a voucher to celebrate our anniversary at B&M Spa. We were very happy with the facilities. Our 30 minutes massage session was great! Wished it wouldn't end. We then used the sauna, steam room and the pool. We thoroughly enjoyed it and will definitely love to come back. We went on a Saturday and there was some free parking on Saturday in surrounding streets which was a great bonus as we were worried about parking. Overall we also loved the whole ambience in the hotel. The front desk receptionist was very nice and showed us where to go. Very friendly staff. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Relaxing and calm environment where stresses are truly forgotten. Facilities are clean and inviting. My day was absolutely amazing with my daughter, as her birthday treat. Treatments were fabulous - Extremely relaxing. It really felt like it lasted more than hour - but it wasn’t!.... and to add a glass of bubbly - A wonderful day was had.

Fantastic experience: This is my third visit to the spa but only the second time I have had treatments. I love it here. The spa is a good size and very sleek with a lovely pool and jacuzzi.The massage and facial were expertly done. I didn't want to leave ! The staff are all very courteous and friendly. Will be back !

Fantastic experience: This was a Christmas present for my boyfriend. It turned out to be a truly magnificent stay! We had a wonderful time in the spa, enjoying the pool, sauna and even a massage with a glass of bubbly! The hotel room was impeccable, there were no issues with our stay, and the hotel staff were superb! Would definitely recommend and would love to go again!! Thank you to the hotel team for making our stay fabulous!

Fantastic experience: My friend and I treated ourselves to a spa session, 2 hours of stretching out by the pool and in the chillax room. My friend had a facial, she was so relaxed she entertained us with her gentle snoring for the last 5 minutes , (we were in the couples room). I had a half an hour back massage followed by a facial, with the lovely Thalgo products. Lauren, my lovely therapist is very well trained and gave me a wonderful session. Thanks for a wonderful afternoon.

Fantastic experience: The best massage in London !! Alina who was my masseuse was fantastic. The place overall is welcoming, clean, fresh and has that relaxing feel and odour. The staff is friendly. I highly recommend this place.

Fantastic experience: Went with my husband for a pamper day. We both had vouchers for a spa access and massage treatment. Facilities were clean and staff were helpful and friendly. We loved our experience as a whole and the full body massage we both recieved. Can't wait to go again!

Positive experience: Really professional and helpful staff, with some good facilities such as the jacuzzi and sauna. Was a little messy with the empty cups everywhere but overall a fun experience
