Mid-Argyll joint campus & Sports Centre: Opinions
Fantastic experience: Staff Very Good
Negative experience: Gyms ok, but short opening hours bottle neck and is too busy as a result. Ironically I’ve been told this is because the school kids use it in the day (covid) and not in the evening. It’s full of kids when it opens for paying members late pm
Negative experience: Really tiny gym, doesn’t even have windows. Constantly over crowded and only open 4hrs a day. Lack of equipment and space, extremely neglected.
We apologise for the delay in responding to your message. We understand and appreciate your concerns regarding the size and layout of our gym. We are continuously working towards providing the best possible service within the constrains we have. We would like to inform you that we have taken steps to address these issues by expanding our offerings. We now have an additional gym area at the community center, and we have enhanced with new equipment the Gym at Mid Argyll Sports Centre, cardiovascular equipment from Technogym, Concept2 and Pulse Fitness, including rowers, treadmills, cross trainers, steppers and indoor bikes. We have a separate Resistance Room that offers a Smith Machine, Dual Pulley and seven Life Fitness stations that will train major muscle groups from head to toe. In addition, there is a variety of barbells, dumbells and kettle bells that can be used in the free weight area. This provides more options and increased space for our members. Thank you for sharing your thoughts, and we hope that these enhancements will contribute to a better experience for you. If you have any further suggestions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out at https://liveargyll.co.uk/contact-us/ liveArgyll
Positive experience: Great facility for the area. Would have given 5 stars but lack of catering facilities - not even a coffee or snack machine and dated gym equipment which is a bit of a let down. Staff very friendly and helpful.
