Fantastic experience: The best place to get your hair done in London. The team are fantastic and I've never received so many compliments on my hair. It's the only place I'll go to in London now. I also love that they only use organic products. The quality of my hair has improved significantly over the last two years and I only have Little Jannah salon to thank :)

Fantastic experience: Had a really great experience here, got my hair done a few times here but never left a review before. The stylist there is super friendly and all the workers are very nice which makes the experience in any treatment you get that much nicer. This is my go to spot for all my treatments: hair, waxing, eyebrows -you name it they have it all :)

Negative experience: Review update 01/02/2024 I would like to underline the fact that I did not write the review below to get a refund, I wrote it because I was dissatisfied, and I would like to inform potential customers of the risks they might encounter by seeking your services. I feel that it might be problematic that the hair stylist mischaracterized my hair and therefore suggested the wrong hair treatment. In addition, As mentioned earlier, my hair was inadequately blow-dried and flat-ironed while my roots were damp, you should NEVER flat-iron wet hair regardless of the hair type, subjecting wet hair to heat styling tools can lead to disastrous consequences. Furthermore, it is crucial to possess the necessary experience and knowledge to care for Afro/Somali hair properly which I don’t think you possess. Otherwise you end up mistreating the client’s hair like you did with mine. In conclusion, it is unacceptable to book clients when you do not have sufficient time and or knowledge to provide them with the attention and care they deserve. I left the hair salon traumatised and tearful. I wanted hair treatment as in a cut & blow dry. I was told my hair was to “Afro” to just blow dry it and that it needed silk press. The stylist complained that my hair was too long and she needed more time to silk press but did not say that she couldn’t do a silk press. The stylist proceeded to blow dry a small section of my hair for what seemed like 2 min and flat ironed it while the roots were still damp. My hair started to sizzle and smoke and it then smelled like it was being burnt . I pulled away and told her what was happening and she said that it was okay because she put oil in my hair and the iron was going to dry the damp parts of my hair. I have never seen a professional stylist not completely blow dry hair before going over and over again with a flat iron knowing that it was damaging my hair. My hair was not combed out or sectioned for a trim and it only took 5 min if not less. I’ve never had anyone tell me my 3b/3c fine curly hair was too “Afro” for a blow dry. I paid £73 for the worst hair treatment I have ever had. I’m not sure what I’ve paid for cut and blow dry or silk press, because my roots were curly/brittle and breaking when I got home. I wanted to treat myself to a nice self-care day, and it ended up being disappointing and depressing.

Negative experience: Booked a massage for two over the phone for myself and fiancé, as our usual Emma Wilson's were fully booked. Arrived for our appointment and the door was locked, we called the numbers on the front of the door 4 times and no on answered. After 10 minutes a lady came and opened the door, without an apology. She asked me if the other person is coming soon, I replied we are both here and gestured towards my fiancé who was standing next to me. She said we don't let men in and wasn't that relayed to me on the phone, to which of course it wasn't as I had booked and paid a deposit for us both. I said said we'll I will need to cancel and have my deposit refunded and the lady said I would need to come back on Tuesday. I do not live in the local area so that wouldn't have made sense. I offered to take my deposit back in cash. Suddenly, another staff member said she will call the manager and she then offered to put the refund onto my card. Terrible customer service, a wasted journey for something that should be clear. Would not recommend. If you want a friendly, professional spa go to Emma Wilson's in Streatham Hill.

Fantastic experience: So glad i found this place Its an Amazing salon for hijabis ! All staff there were lovely and the hairdressers gave me AMAZING results! Looking forward to going back

Negative experience: A few days ago I went in for a back wax which I only asked for half back done along with the back of the neck to be told one price of £20 for whole back and neck then to be charged £25.30. Not to mention the hidden smirk the lady had when proceeding to take the payment. I really dislike such scam services it’s really disgusting. First time I’ve had this happen to me. Really disappointing more so that they done such an act on the month of fasting. What a shame. Won’t be going here again. I didn’t say something there and there due to the fact that they were fasting and let them think I hadn’t noticed. Please triple check the price you’re given not to charged extra after.

Negative experience: Mediocre treatment and wouldn’t recommend or go back - you can get better treatments elsewhere for a much better value and honest price. Also - beware the prices advertised on their webpage is wrong!! Got charged more than what the website price is. I asked why this was the case and the owner said every time they update their webpage prices they get hacked and there’s nothing they can do about this what a lie. How can you not do anything about this? Loool. Do you expect people to believe this? Loool. Please be transparent and honest in your business especially as a Muslim owned business. Raising your prices is fine but you should let customers know and advertise this asap wherever your prices are stated - especially a website and ALL social media that you have. This should be an absolute priority in light of these “hacks”. It’s not hard to have a header or a notice to say that prices have risen. Even update it on google so people are not falsely misled. It’s false advertisement and not being honest in your business and you will be met with angry customers. While I may have been able to afford the increased price (that was not advertised) someone else may not be able to! Be honest and transparent and you will see more barakah in your business. The owner needs to work on her customer service as she comes across as very passively rude/judgemental and now dishonest. I felt very uncomfortable when I was paying and leaving. The other staff members were nice.

Fantastic experience: Little Jannah is a local gem!! 2 mins walk from Streatham Common. Naz and Lauren made me feel welcome and relaxed. I've been for massage, wax and eyelash lift/ tint; the service is wonderful, only organic products used, affordable prices, and friendly staff. They also do hair and spa packages to try, so I'll definitely be going back - 10/10

Negative experience: I never, ever wrote critical review in my life but this is just too much. I got lash lift service here and I was so shocked and horrified after seeing the result. The lady was very nice and friendly but some parts of my lashes were lifted and other parts weren't. Even the parts that were lifted weren't even properly lifted. Lashes were sticking out in diffent directions and some parts were stuck together. I've been doing lvl for the past 3 years and had visited different salons but I've never seen result like this. I don't know about other services, but do not go here for lvl.

Fantastic experience: I had a pleasant experience at Little Jannah and have booked to return. The owner who washed, cut and blow dried my hair was incredible. She was very gentle when I had my upper lip and chin threaded leaving me with smooth skin. I love my new look since I had lockdown hair. She was attentive, customer focused and provided beneficial tips to maintain my overall health. I recommend people to this wonderful salon. I look forward to my next visit.

Fantastic experience: Went for a haircut last week and I’m really happy with the cut. Owner who did my hair was really lovely and did a great job. Will definitely be my new regular salon.

Negative experience: Haircut wasn't what I asked for. Didn't put layers in and cut far too much off. This took almost 2 hours as the owner was too busy moaning about her ex which I had no interest in

Negative experience: 3 hours in the salon to get a wonky haircut and the worst highlights I've probably ever had (think 90's girl band but with 1cm roots)! The salon wasn't the cleanest either and I'm not sure why there was a very large pile of hair on the floor rather than in the bin. Wouldn’t recommend, it was not a relaxing experience.

Negative experience: My friend introduced me to a summer deal they had advertised on facebook where I could get a full body massage for £30 with the conditions of sharing their post on my facebook page and tagging two friends. I had an appointment for 3pm for an HOUR long full body massage. However, due to travel issues I could not make 3pm so I called up the spa in advance and asked if we could push the appointment to 3:30 and this was agreed with no issues. Upon arrival at 3:30 the receptionist informed me that my full body massage will have to be 30 minutes long because the masseus has to go home at 4pm and my original appointment was at 3. I asked her if I would be paying less in this case as my time has now been reduced in half and she said no, you would pay the full price??? I told her that this does not sound worth it... and she then offered me a 30 minute back massage for £20 instead. I agreed reluctantly as I had already travelled here. When I walked into the massage room I noticed that there was no music playing or candles lit it was just a dull room with a massage bed. The masseuses was lovely though and offered to massage my arms although it was a back massage. The back massage itself was ok but nothing to rave about it. The standard and professionalism of Little Jannah was mediocre, the receptionist could have informed me on the phone prior that I could not have an hour long massage but she did not. I will not be visiting again and do not recommend this place.

Positive experience: Had an Indian head massage today and it was lovely. 40min flew by as it was so enjoyable. Also lady was very friendly and made me comfortable and relaxed. I think going to get the same treatment done regularly thank u xx

Fantastic experience: Myself and my friend visited here for a pamper day. My friend had a facial that left her looking simply radiant and I had a massage that felt amazing and melted my tension. It was a Wonderful experience, the staff are very friendly and inviting and the treatment areas were very relaxing. I would definitely visit again.

Positive experience: I have been to Little Jannah for a facial, a pedicure and hair colour and cut. I really like the venue...nicely decorated and relaxing atmosphere...really good facial and pedicure. Unfortunately can't say the same for the hair colour. I asked for light brown streaks through my hair...the end product was blonde streaks through my hair which was not then corrected by the salon..I was told to pay more if I wanted it to be corrected. The reason I was given was that my hair did not take up the light brown colour after it had been lightened...which was not my fault...nor was I told beforehand that this may happen. Quite disappointed with the way my complaint was handled. I also found the price to be very expensive...would not like to return for hair colour there again. :(

Fantastic experience: Wonderful - i love this place. Its very reasonably priced, unpretentious, and the staff are really nice. I've been for a few different treatments here and highly recommend the ten years younger facial, mum to be massage, and beauty services. If you sign up for this monthly offers you can get a monthly pampering for a good price right in the heart of streatham.

Fantastic experience: A friend and I took advantage of a Groupon deal at Little Jannah - with it being just up the road from where Iive it was a real lovely treat to be able to have a day spa experience without having to schlep to the countryside or central London. The treatments were great and we loved the infra-red sauna - it short we thought it was a lovely day out (just waht the doctor ordered). I'm currently looking to book myself in again for another treat - lovely service, wonderful ladies and very relaxed.
