Fantastic experience: Windy or rainy, no worry with Shopping here. Lots of chain shops & indie shops. Eating & drinking are varied. M&S, Tkmaxx, mc donalds… are recommended⭐️
Positive experience: Lovely little shopping centre. One thing makes it 4 star, and that is the car spaces in the covered parking are too narrow !
Fantastic experience: This is such a lovely shopping centre. Over the years it has definitely changed for the better. Loads of parking available. Most types of shops and restaurants are available.
Negative experience: Unprofessional security! They treated us horribly, my friend and I dealt with micro aggressions from two supervisors at the centre. Poor behaviour from the company.
Positive experience: Great shopping centre. Lots of variety. Good coffee outlets. Lots of room.
Fantastic experience: Very nice place on our way back from London to Paris via Dover... Don't forget to visit TK MAXX. You will thank me later
Negative experience: Don't eat in the newly refurbished Sainsbury's cafe above sainsbury ,food cold very bland ,inedible, fiancee ate different to me hers was cold ,bland and tasteless ,men's loos stick of urine no bleach blocks no running water to wash smell away ,it disgusting, won't eat there again this Friday 8th November 2024 .
Fantastic experience: All shopping needs fulfill. Lots of parking space. Good for Window shopping as well.
Negative experience: Not really overflowing with shops. Coffee shop near the entrance was a rip off. Not coming back.
Fantastic experience: Lots of good sized stores. Cafes and restaurants. Loads of parking
Positive experience: Not much there shopping wise but lots of food outlets
Positive experience: Reasonably easy shopping centre. Car spaces are small and too many coffee shops.
Positive experience: Shopping Centre now has no banks and disappointing main food hall . J Sainsbury & M & S are good and staff there are helpful. Often Hempstead is overcrowded at weekends with difficulty parking .
Positive experience: Plenty of parking, plenty of shops to choose from, fast food available along with other bits. Sometimes, it gets busy but worth a gander, you may get deal.
Fantastic experience: Good selection of shops and coffee lunch options
Fantastic experience: Great place to pop and get some shopping and a coffee x, although not Bluewater it's still good x
Fantastic experience: Great place to shop and relax. Nail bar, hairdressers, cafes, and many known retail outlets., vast amounts of Parking inside or outside, close by to a lovely well known pub, that serves great food if you don't want fast food, in same complex, is a food outlet area, with all well known fast food restaurants

Fantastic experience: Lots of parking, good shops with only a couple of vacant sites and everything is clean and looked after. Lots of places to eat, gym and 2 large shops: Sainsbury's and M&S. Petrol station on site too.
Fantastic experience: Clean with a good selection of shops
Positive experience: Nice and clean and some decent shoos
Fantastic experience: Very clean with nice shops
Positive experience: A few weeks ago we parked to do our weekly shop in the overflow car park opposite the Hungry Fox car park as it’s usually has plenty of spaces in the morning early week .. The parking bay markings are very feint and really need repainting. My husband parked up in a practically empty car park and had gone slightly out of the bay . A car park attendant was walking around the car park and made his way over and asked us to move over slightly to line up in the almost impossible to establish bay . We did this as he was just doing his job and he was right we were slightly over the bay lines. Yesterday we parked in same care park only to find it had numerous mobile homes and vehicles parked not only not within the bays but were covering 3 or 4 bays horizontally each . Yet they were not being troubled or asked to not park in that manner. My question would be why were they not asked to park as we had been .
Fantastic experience: Very busy atmosphere with everything you need.
Positive experience: Hempstead Valley is a relatively small shopping mall anchored by a TK Maxx at bottom end of the T-shaped mall, a Marks & Spencer at the end of the left branch of the T. A large Sainsbury’s occupies the entire length of the top of the T. A wide range of other shops occupy the main retail area. Mainly clothing, and mobile phone stores. Next to TKMaxx is the stop for National Express Coaches, and across the road a collection of restaurants and coffee shops. There is a huge amount of parking, although those areas nearest to the centre tend to be pretty busy. This includes a six-storey multi-level car park adjacent to the 2-storey Marks & Spencer store.
Fantastic experience: Great shopping centre, free parking
Fantastic experience: Only bought fuel at Sainsbury which was cheap cheap cheap... 1.32.9 for E10
Positive experience: Cheapest fuel in the area, only reason I would visit.
Fantastic experience: Large M and S and a Sainsbury o Bly shops I use, cover carpark if needed
Positive experience: I always visit the shopping centre with my partner when visiting her family. It’s very nice good place to shop.
Fantastic experience: Always been a nice shopping centre, not huge but has all the shops you might want. Don't live in the area but have been coming here for over 30 years and it has always been clean and fresh. Has grown to have a variety of restaurants just outside the centre. Marks and Spencer and Sainsbury's are good stores to have on site and the Sainsbury's Petrol station usually has the cheapest fuel in the area.
Fantastic experience: Nice shopping centre that's not busy. Plenty of parking as well.
Negative experience: Another review just to hammer home how dire this place is... Nail bars, coffee stores, spectacle shops and phone outlets make up the majority share of the tenancy agreements in this centre. It's almost a waste of time coming here unless you want something from one of these places.
Fantastic experience: We love coming to Hemel Hempstead Valley Heathbridge! Highly recommend
Fantastic experience: Had a lunch with kids. Portions was well presented and of very good quality. Staff was very friendly and had a complete knowledge of products . Manager DAS was also keeping an eye to maintain the environment and making sure everything is al right.
Fantastic experience: Lovely place never had a bad experience here. great place to go bankrupt.Sainsbury’s never fails to delight me love. it impeccable design layout. Costa coffee cookies are on point. WHSmith has a wide selection of different books, nick nacks and magazines 5 stars for me
Positive experience: Good choice of shops. Main downfall is the big bins everywhere catching the rain through the leaky roof.
Positive experience: Easy to find, loads of parking, not a massive complex but it's got everything you'll need
Fantastic experience: Nice place to visit, got everything I needed and the centre is kept clean.
Fantastic experience: Lovely clean modern shopping centre
Positive experience: Good place a variety of shops with lots of parking
Fantastic experience: Free parking. Good selection of shops and places to eat.
Fantastic experience: Variety of shops and places to eat. Plenty of free car park spaces.
Positive experience: Beautiful shopping centre with shops selling great quality items.
Fantastic experience: Very clean, loved this place and positive vibes from staff.
Thank you. Did you enjoy GDK?
Fantastic experience: There’s not really any reason why I would rate it lower a sits what I would expect, it’s what you see to do to get the job done!
Fantastic experience: Only visited sainsbury petrol station, ,busy but the queue cleared quickly service was quick, staff polite and curious.
Fantastic experience: Petrol station can be very buisy, staff very helpful. To many food / cafes more than shops now.
Positive experience: Great place to shop with plenty of shops under one roof.
Positive experience: The shops that are there offer good variety, found what I was after in the Boots store.
Positive experience: Love this place, parking spaces need to be wider
Negative experience: The tightest parking spaces that larger cars just can't fit.
Positive experience: Beautiful, clean, and convenient. There are 2 grocery stores here. Many times, people forget the boujee Marks and Spencer...lol. The places to eat are a good sample choice, maybe just KFC missing...lol Personally, I would like a five guys but hey, we can't have it all. They would do well with a Primark and an H&M IMO. Sainsbury has it all...plus there is an ARGOS within. Parking is free and enough.
Fantastic experience: HH Shopping centre is a modern, clean & bright place that will please anyone who visits, due in part to the free parking offered, to the excellent array of shops & services that you'll ever have need of. It's very easy to find too, as it's well sign posted. If I had to find any drawback, I would say it's best to avoid the obvious busy times, such as school leaving times & general rush hour periods as getting across the many roundabouts seem to leave some drivers becoming so hesitant that queues can develop quickly.
Positive experience: Lovely tree-lined shopping centre with large, free car park.
Fantastic experience: Lots of shops, plenty places to eat. Even got a charity shop there. Parking good lots of places NO Charge as yet. Buses are just outside door.
Fantastic experience: Great place to shop. Costa inside is brilliant
Fantastic experience: Had a little look around whilst waiting for a coach . Lovely little place with lots of reasonably priced stores. Lots of variety and overall a nice place to go shopping with it not being too busy
Thank you for your feedback. We're pleased you enjoyed your visit and look forward to seeing you again.
Positive experience: Mixture of local and chain stores in a slightly old fashioned shopping centre. Large M&S, Sainsburys, TKMax, Costa etc. McDonald's, Nandos also on site. Plenty of parking albeit the access roads were very busy.
Fantastic experience: New McDonald's Great. Better than Courtney Rd(tesco ) actually got order correct.
Fantastic experience: Lovely indoor shopping centre, good selection of shops, loads of reasonably priced food outlets and lots of free parking spaces. Very accessible, just off the M2.
Amazing Tracy, thank you!
Positive experience: This used to be a great shopping centre but it seems to have lost its appeal. M+S was about one of it's best shops.
Thank you for reviewing the shopping centre.
Negative experience: As a shopping destination Hempsted Valley is fine for what it is. However just outside of TK Maxx in the middle of the walk way is a nail stall; and the strong smell of chemicals they use is very nauseating. The smells have a lasting effect too. I'm not sure why The shopping centres allows an obvious distractment from enjoying a shopping experience. I do not blame the nail business but strong chemicals use in an stale, open air environment with lots of footfall as questionable decision from the management.
Good Evening Shaq. I apologise for any inconvenience caused by the unpleasant smells you encountered. As a valued member of our community, your feedback is essential. We will discuss this matter further with the business owner who has traded within the centre for over 8 years to understand the situation better why the smells are stronger than normal.
Fantastic experience: It was a fantastic shopping centre It has WHSmith there and others shops As well I would go there again
Thank you for your feedback Will
Fantastic experience: Nice place to go with family and lots of good stores. Tucked at the back of Gillingham, I think it's not bad for your shopping for groceries, phones, cosmetics etc.
Positive experience: Good parking.... although imo not enough disabled spots. Very clean, when taking into account it was the middle of Easter school holidays! A nice selection of shops in the part I visited. Very friendly staff at Card Factory and Costa. Would happily return.
Thank you for your review Kim and that you enjoyed your visit
Fantastic experience: Nice little shopping centre, large marks and spencers, and sainsbury with clothing and homewear. Jd sports, poundlound, super dug, boots. Large tk max and many more, lots of nice places to eat with its separate carpark, loads if parking and it's free. Can basically fetch everything you need, gift concessions, perfume shop, gift shops and other clothes shops.
Fantastic experience: Nearest shopping mall apart from Dockside. Chatham high street full of vagrants begging for money. Only shops there I need are bank boots and sainsbury's. The rest are rubbish!
Positive experience: It's ok be better when home bargain is up here and they need a proper little cheap cafe up here as the one in sainsburys is very expensive the tables always got rubbish or durty plates and cups on and it takes for ever to get served by miserable women ... the young chap is the most polite and friendly
Fantastic experience: I love Hempstead Valley! It's just right as far as size and shops. Yes, it could do with a few alternatives, but it works. The store is kept clean. There is a massive gap outside Boots, waiting to see what will take its place.
Thank you Feather for your feedback.
Fantastic experience: Love it here shops are fantastic something for everyone. The parking as well not always clock watching to get back to car. Free for 6 hours. So u can have a great look around defo recommend
Thank you Theresa for your feedback.
Fantastic experience: Always loved Hempstead Valley. Great range of shops, ample (if narrow) parking. Close to M2 and Medway Towns. Recent Venue expansion adds more dining options. Great place to shop.
Thank you Jonathan for your review. We love that we still offer FREE parking to our customers. So glad you enjoy coming to the Centre. Have a great day.
Fantastic experience: I've literally been shopping here since birth! Sainsbury's, M&S, Boots, Roman, Card Factory, The Works, Holland and Barrett are my personal favourites but there are many more shops too. It's really been modernised with a gym, physiotherapy centre, restaurant area etc. There's a fuel station and excellent bus connections, along with ample free car parking. There's not the largest range of clothing stores but I'd say there's something for everyone here. TK Max, various opticians, jewellery stores, cafés and so forth. It's easy to spend a day here. There are multiple choices for bathroom facilities with accessible toilets and baby changing facilities. This is also true for specific parking requirements. If you really want to, you could even book yourself a holiday, change some currency or make some donations to the charity shops. Need a haircut, that's also doable! It's well located just by junction 4 of the A2/M2 so can be easily reached from all directions. You could even just be stopping at the drive through (or sit in) Burger King. The choice is yours!
Thank you Melanie for the lovely review.
Fantastic experience: Who doesn't like a bit of the Sava centre...free to park.. coffee and food stops(although I miss the old style food hall). Sainsbury's, Marks and Spencer, Tk max , boots, charity shops and most things in-between all under(mostly)one roof...also nice clean toilets if required, ok the town of Chatham was my go to town or perhaps Maidstone but the parking charges, lack of public conveniences has just recently put me off...sure you have to go to the high street for the odd shop now and again but for less faff, ample fuss free parking etc...you can't beat the old sava centre or Hempstead valley as it's now known.
Thank you for your kind words and for choosing Hempstead Valley. Your positive experience motivates us to keep doing our best
Fantastic experience: Went to Bella Italian. Never been before and it was so nice. Great service, get atmosphere and team friendly and bubbly. Will return in future.
Positive experience: It's such a nice venue and brilliant location. But more and more shops left the venue and the ones remaining are clearly a bit dated and not really on trend. Clean venue and well maintained.
Fantastic experience: Good shopping centre, decent selection of shops. Parking spaces are a little tight, but there is plenty of parking
Fantastic experience: If you can ignore the occasionally busy car parks, it is a great place for shipping, having a coffee or bite to eat. M&S, Super sized Sainsburys, Boots and many more shops to explore.
Positive experience: Iots of clothing shops, coffee shops and restaurants. Could do with a curry's electrical and furniture shop. Plenty of parking. Hot on illegal parking in disabled parking.
Positive experience: Good place local to shop, Burger King is a let down. Sainsburys wish the sandwiches and drinks were not so far into the store they should be at front. Subway is good, love going to Nando’s. Greggs is good but a shame they kicked out the ice cream man, he had been there for over 20 years!
Fantastic experience: Variety of shops, from food and pharmaceuticals to clothing and mobile phones, travel agents, jewellery, etc. Parking, at peak times, especially on a weekend, is slow and busy. Leaving/arriving isn't as bad. The food restaurants are situated away from the shops but easy access. There's bus stops for public transport accessibility and a Sainsbury's petrol station.
Positive experience: A very cute shopping mall, plenty of good shop. They have big m&s and Sainsbury's. Some Nice Restaurants, Bella Pasta, Frankie and Benny, Nandos, Costa and Many more. plenty of parking space. Easy access from motorway.
Positive experience: I visited expecting to find what I wanted in the usual shops, but most of them weren't there any more. What I found was a limited number of shops with overpriced items that just didn't interest me. The small stalls in the walkway used to be brilliant, again nothing to draw me to spend. I was in & out in less than an hour & I doubt I'll be returning. Looks like bluewater next week then!
Positive experience: What you can expect from a good shopping centre. Good public facilities and well signposted. They could use more self storage for baggage. Overall I would give it a solid 4 stars...not 5 yet...
Negative experience: Not been here for a while, much has changed. Charity shops, Poundland, Greggs, Costa. Clarks has gone, BB's has gone. Nothing I can't get in Chatham or for that fact any other generic High Street. No reason to visit anymore. Shame.
Positive experience: I recently visited Hempstead Valley Shopping Centre during my trip to Gillingham, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The shopping centre offers a wide variety of stores, ranging from popular high-street brands to smaller independent shops. The layout of the shopping centre is well-organized, making it easy to navigate between the different stores. I appreciated the ample parking available, which made it convenient for me to reach the centre. The cleanliness of the common areas was satisfactory, and the overall ambiance was pleasant. I found most of the stores to be well-stocked and the staff friendly and helpful. However, there were a few instances where I felt the customer service could have been more attentive, hence the deduction of one star. Additionally, while the variety of stores was good, I would have liked to see more options for dining and entertainment within the shopping centre. Overall, Hempstead Valley Shopping Centre provided a satisfactory shopping experience. While it may not have completely blown me away, it offers a decent selection of stores and amenities for visitors. If you're in the area and looking for a convenient place to shop, it's worth a try!
Lovely thoughtful constructive feedback. Thank you. Have a great day
Fantastic experience: Beautiful shopping centre situated at the gateway of Gilligham. It is located to attract the locals and the visitors. Stuffs are a bit cheaper here compare to London I enjoyed my short visit.
