Fantastic experience: Really good venue no matter what sport you're playing. Cafe is a stand out too.

Positive experience: Very nice facilities, clean, well equipped with friendly and helpful staff.

Fantastic experience: The staff are friendly, plenty of parking, nice Fausto cafe with excellent coffee. My daughter gets tennis coaching there and I can sit and watch her from the cafe. Not tried the pool yet, thats next.

Negative experience: Gutted No sauna ,

Fantastic experience: Very clean complex. Swimming pool is really good. Staff are very nice and helpful.

Fantastic experience: Amazing refurbishment of the gym area, staff very friendly and helpful. Definitely just as good as the more expensive gyms locally!

Negative experience: Booked a “private” soft play birthday party for nearly £130 and when we arrived in the day we found they had removed the glass walls that made it private, the place was a bomb site, the soft play needs repairing and updating, there were no staff around to welcome, support or help when random parents let their kids use the soft play that we had paid to hire. Because the doors and walls had been removed, we had toddlers escaping, stressed parents, it was chaos. When we complained we were thrown some soft play vouchers and told we should have complained on the day, I explained there was no one around to complain to on the day and it was our sons birthday so we didn’t want to cause a fuss, staff refused to escalate as I felt it was unresolved. No call back from manager. Haven’t even got started on the swim facilities- cracked floor tiles everywhere with sharp objects sticking out when the place is filled with kids with bare feet, the place smells like urine, it never smells like it’s been cleaned and the floor is manky, no one enforces the no shoes rule in the changing area and its rank. But instead of repairing these things they’ve decided to extend the huge gym space, taking away seating area for coffee shop and safe access to soft play, the place is a building site, priorities in all the wrong places ‍♂️

Fantastic experience: I thoroughly enjoyed taking my granddaughter to the soft play, she loved it, lots to play on and lots of challenges.

Negative experience: I go to the gym everyday but I have a massive problem parking on a weekend, there is no parking at all because of other people who are not even members using the parking spaces and when you park where you can you get a parking ticket, I have 3 parking tickets since being a member basically chucking money away. I may as well go to a different gym with better parking facilities.

Positive experience: whent to play area with 2 kids loved it even little one only 16 months tierd out slept all night brill

Negative experience: Place is great but let down by lack of parking which is enforced by parking wardens (ticket if you park outside a space eg on grass). Place is not interested to hear about parking issue and claim to have no say over the matter which I find hard to believe as I'm sure everyone active provides health services on behalf of sunderland Council. Unfortunately reviews make you focus on the negative because inside no complaints whatsoever.

Negative experience: Visiting for a long weekend, joined on a PAYG basis purely for the use of the rowing machines. Unfortunately one was (utterly) unusable. Of the other 2; the one I tried had very (very) little resistance. This essentially comes about due to the damper (wheel) needing cleaning (it's a 5 minute job to take the side off and clean it out). I brought this to the attention of management who was polite and promised to have a look at the machines. They did state the machines were serviced last week. If this is the case they should review their service contract - (non of the chains were oiled) the basics of a service would have potentially rectified the second machine. I'm fairly sure the clutch on the first machine is completely broken.

Negative experience: Spoke to 3 members of staff which all passed me around Rude unhelpful staff let you sit around like a lemon I eventually got up and left and cancelled my membership

Fantastic experience: Excellent classes, instructors ensure that there are correct spaces on courses and social distancing is adhered to.

Positive experience: Had a lovely caramel latte here in the cafe inside the centre this morning after doing my 250th Parkrun. Had a great chat with my running friends and family inside the everyone active. I would recommend coming here, good leisure centre which has a gym, swimming pool, tennis and other facilities.

Positive experience: Good but customer service on the desk very slow, boring and some have attitudes. Aquatic is better then here for customer service.

Positive experience: Good swimming lessons and school.holidays crash courses etc.

Fantastic experience: I have used the center for swimming, yoga, gym and pilates which are all really good!

Positive experience: Great gym but sometimes a bit to busy.and the times under 16s are allowed in the gym are horrible.

Negative experience: Pool always turns the children and toddlers blue, everyone complains. They say the temperature is correct. Pathetic when children are having shocks to their systems and passing out. Even the instructors say its way to cold for the kids

Negative experience: Struggling to get booked in classes here. The lockers in the pool area need to have wrist straps attached as they 've all snapped off which means you end up leaving your key on the side.

Negative experience: Dont think about visiting if your disabled. Unless you want to book in advance at times of the day no one else wants to swim and they happen to have spare staff you might get into the water out of that you dont stand a chance . manager , area manager not interested even when contacted by Sunderland council who gave them the contract in the first place .i will not be treated as a second class citizen by anyone . i simply want to use the pool the same as anyone else and after 4 days of trying i am now of the opinion that they just dont care . i think a nice big sign at the door saying no disabled access go away .

Positive experience: Fantastic gym .great fitness classes but air con turned off in studio when not in use causing room to be too hot. FAR too many lockers broke and too many people taking keys home at night to keep them for their selfs.

Fantastic experience: Great place and all in one place ranging from tennis,swimming gym all different fitness classes to suit all different levels of fitness for all ages.You also got a Ski center maybe 250 yards away with a 400 meter running track close by.

Positive experience: Weirdly this is where Sunderland council also counts ballot cards from polling stations on elections, and it represents Sunderland which thrives in beating Newcastle to the pip.

Negative experience: Very bad service. Took my 11year old sister to swimming before we left I checked the time of the pool closing(what was 8). When we got there at 6:45 we were refused as it was an adult session. NOWHERE on the website states that. I have rang and complained and went out my way to send them a screenshot of the webpage on my phone of there being no warning it was for adults only, after the receptionist Basically called me a lier saying it's there Infront of her. I am STILL waiting for a call back. No apologies nothing. I even rang at ten to eight for there to be no answer! I even went out my way to make an account to write this review!

Positive experience: New gym on the ground floor, helpful staff and changing facilities are always clean.
