Our comment from FitFit UK about Court Garden Leisure Complex:
Welcome to Court Garden Leisure Complex, a charming community leisure center located in Marlow, United Kingdom. This facility offers a variety of amenities that cater to all ages and fitness levels. Visitors appreciate the friendly and helpful staff who ensure a welcoming atmosphere, particularly in the café where customers enjoy excellent food and great service. Many users have highlighted the wonderful views of the Thames and the peaceful setting, making it an ideal spot for family outings and picnics.
The center features a clean and warm swimming pool, which is perfect for both leisure and fitness swimming. Participants value the recent refurbishments that have enhanced the changing facilities and overall comfort of the venue. Users have also noted the well-run gym, complete with necessary equipment and social distancing measures.
However, some visitors have expressed concerns regarding certain aspects of the center. A few have mentioned that the pool can feel smaller than expected, and there's feedback indicating issues with customer service during busy times or when bookings are needed. Additionally, parking availability has been a point of contention for some users.
Despite these minor drawbacks, many agree that the Court Garden Leisure Complex is a great value for family activities, fitness classes, and swimming, making it a highly recommended destination for locals and visitors alike.

Court Garden Leisure Complex: Opinions
Positive experience: I really like going to Marlow leisure centre easy to find your way around nice halls with the view of the park. The hall was not warm today though although someone did come on to put the radiation on they weren't all working. So had to keep moving to keep warm.
Hi Joanne, thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. Sorry to hear it was a bit on the chilly side during your visit. I will be sure to pass on your feedback to the time at the centre. Thanks, Maxine
Fantastic experience: Great gym
Thanks for the 5 star review! ⭐Maxine
Positive experience: Cafe excellent . Stsff and food great.
Fantastic experience: The staff are friendly and helpful especially in the cafe. I have a client that I take there. Once I have placed his order, I go to set up the activity he is there for whilst he eats. The staff are brilliant with him. They noticed that I would sort his tea out for him. They do this for him now. They are amazing. They noticed the little things that make a difference. The lifeguards at the swimming pool were also always very helpful.
Hi Shelley, thanks so much for sharing this with us. We really appreciate this and will be sure you share your kind words with the team :) Thanks, Chels
Fantastic experience: I'm a member here... really good value. I can always get a place on the classes I want to take part in. The reception staff are really helpful and friendly and the class teachers are great, making it fun to participate. I would recommend.

Positive experience: Small little leisure center for a small little town
Positive experience: Very helpful staff in the gym
Thanks Shelley, we have passed your lovely comments back to the team at site :)
Positive experience: Used the pool, was a lot smaller than I had been lead to believe, but nice place, clean, friendly staff
Positive experience: No free parking on site, nice small pool, clean changing facilities, straightforward booking system for single sessions. Have not used gym/ classes or other facilities.
Fantastic experience: Pickleball on the badminton courts, excellent and a great, air conditioned cafe
Fantastic experience: Great place to swim
Fantastic experience: Friendly staff
Thanks for your kind words :)
Fantastic experience: Nice warm swimming pool.
Fantastic experience: I just wish to say thanks to the staff that works in the pool, for being very nice and kind
Fantastic experience: How beautiful on a sunny day. Gorgeous setting by the river Thames. Peaceful tranquil and scenic.
Positive experience: Selection of cakes and coffee, they also do Pizza. It's more for parents with kids to be honest. If you want a quiet place to relax, this is not for you.
Negative experience: Call up to book badminton and get so much aggro from the staff or shall I say manager who can’t deal with a simple call and has to disconnect the call. Never want to listen to anything anyone has to say but they are always right
Fantastic experience: Great location, amazing views of the Thames, great place for family picnics and great swimming pool
Thanks Alan, we're so glad you enjoy visiting Court Garden :)
Negative experience: Hired a boat for the week and moored up here. No signage for mooring fees or facility to pay. Had to go hunting to find they were shut. Went the next morning and was told it was £8 for the day but as we arrived after 6pm it was £15 for the night. Not organised and not helpful. Found out after a little further down the Bank its free mooring
Positive experience: Good aquafit
Positive experience: Small leisure centre, pool is small but recently refurbished. With great changing rooms. Viewing area for lessons is outside looking through the window under a shelter
Fantastic experience: Lovely and clean facilities. Warm pool and friendly staff.
Positive experience: Just started using the swimming pool here and have to say it's just perfect. Not a massive pool, only 15m, but it's just what we need. Nice and warm and not too busy to swim lengths. My only issue is the lack of availability for morning swimming sessions, Monday is great...10.15 or 11.15....the rest of the week NOTHING after 8 till lunchtime.....otherwise it's a 5
Fantastic experience: Great leisure complex. Well run. Good pool, but small. Nice cafe. Helpful staff.

Fantastic experience: The pool is so lovely and warm. The staff are friendly and helpful. The lifeguards are always on watch and on hand for any advice and support.
Fantastic experience: Great place. Nice staff and good gym.
Negative experience: Went to the gym today with my friend and she slipped off the step up block and the man told us off and threatened to kick us out
Positive experience: Gym is quite small but we'll equipped. Pity the pool is only 15m. Cafe nice views of the park and river.
Positive experience: Nice warm pool, changing rooms a little damp/musty but had great fun with my 5 year old!
Positive experience: The gym is ok for those who want cardio and weights machines but the free weights leave a bit to be desired. I could only see one squat rack and not a whole lot else. On the bright side there is plenty of parking, and a great view out of the windows into the nearby park and onto the river.
Positive experience: Great pool. Nice and friendly
Positive experience: Like the pool as able to get in as it has steps. The staff very helpful. Disable access very good. Went the Cafe very pleasant. Went out the other side of the building & you are out into Higgins Park by the thames. River boat rides, to your left a lovely park and another Cafe. The complex is a very tired building needs updating but every thing there
Positive experience: Small gym, small pool. It seems as if staff aren't really bothered. Much prefer the site up at handy cross.
Positive experience: Great facility, but under-utilised
Fantastic experience: Great for all the family young and old, lots to do or you can meet for a coffee in the on site cafe as they also do food. I do aqua classes and go to the gym The staff are so friendly and helpful, highly recommend...
Fantastic experience: it is great once ur in the pool u never wanna get out and i am a child by the way
Fantastic experience: Great community leisure centre and fits Marlow perfectly.
Fantastic experience: Nice
Positive experience: Good area for eveyone
Fantastic experience: Has a gym, pool and many other facilities. Very accessible and staff friendly
Positive experience: Clean pool which is warmer than average, excellent swimming teachers. Nice little cafe.
Negative experience: Very very disappointed in the customer service and the way my 65+ year old mom was treated. Yesterday we went in to sign up and we were asked to return today to finish the forms. We returned today, we started over, signed her up and paid. We were then told to go upstairs for a tour. Upstairs we were informed the gym can assist her because she has diabetes. Now my mom is a healthy and very active woman who walks at minimum 4 miles a day in the morning. They said she needed to see a health specialist to walk her through the gym for people with diabetes. Fair enough. However, they only have one specialist who is away on holiday- I asked I'd this was correct, that the entire gym would have just one person who can conduct health assessment. Why allow someone to pay and come twice if you've got no intention of providing them a service? There is also the issue of making people feel guilty for having whatever illness because of the sense of being othered. We hope the customer service and between department communication skills can be resolved for more expedient and welcoming service in the future.
Fantastic experience: Been using the gym for 20 years. Won't stop now.
Positive experience: ładna okolica I super plac zabaw dla dzieci
Fantastic experience: My kids go there for swimming classes. Good facility.
Fantastic experience: Nice small local leisure centre offering large range of activities.
Negative experience: Having lived in Marlow for over 10 years now I have always loved the people and culture of the town. When I first arrived I joined the Court Garden Gym as they had a pool and I had 2 young children and also there gym membership was cheap - I made the mistake of believing that the town spirit and ethos would extend to this facility - OH HOW I WAS WRONG. The venue looks like it is still in the 1970s and the star are as hit and miss as flipping a coin - some very kind and some absolutely rude and dismissive. The facility is falling down and I hear the badminton courts roof collapse recently and they were out of action for 3 months!! The changing rooms are horrid and mould and broken plastic edges everywhere. The gym itself is tiny and the classes the gym hold very small and for me the same every week. As you can imagine I stopped using it many years ago and joined the more expensive Marlow Club. But boy it is money well spent to this day - you really do get what you pay for. I try not to visit the centre ever if possible and now Costa Coffee in the park the cafe is not even a reason to go. I do however try to attend the annual Panto held at the venue as like to support local community event and organisations. 12 months ago I joined a self defence class at HW Leisure centre and heard they also had a class in Marlow at the court gardens centre, I wanted to learn a self defence due to my mother-in-law being attacked and felt I need to learn to defend myself and if honest liked the idea of meeting new people. So I went back to Marlow Court Gardens as the club hires a hall from the centre and is nothing to do with the centre. I had hoped things had changed but it was as if it had been stuck in a timeworn the staff 50/50 and the place looking even more ancient. The reason I am writing this review is to make anyone thinking of joining or hiring this venue think twice and investigate as it may seem cheap but 'you get what you pay for'. This review is based on my experiences and is obviously subjective but what I can say is from speaking to my fellow students and hearing how they feel their club is treated saddens me especially when it is a non profit club. BUT I wanted to see for myself and draw my own conclusions so I could be honest and unbiased - and I can say I couldn't agree more even last week in the middle of a class staff wandered in, clattering around not once but twice neither time asking if it was ok or if they would be disturbing. I mention how distracted and uncomfortable this made me feel to my instructor after the class. The difference between the service and staff of Marlow and High Wycombe is amazing and if being a snob I would have expected it to be the other way round. I love Marlow and proud to live hear but this place - for me anyway - doesn't feel like it belongs in Marlow.
Fantastic experience: Excellent local gym/sports centre and good cafe on site.
Positive experience: Serves the community... Hasn't changed much in 30 years...
Negative experience: didn't allow me in with my dad because i was 10 days too young
Fantastic experience: Nice gym and pool . The cafe is a hidden gem and a great place to miss the queues.
