Fantastic experience: Fabulous old swimming baths and very clean

Negative experience: Swimming pool's water wasn't clean and because the area around the pool and changing room is very dirty and wet and nobody was cleaning there. The lifeguard was outside by the pool with her shoes on!!! This was an awful expereience. I never go back there.

Positive experience: Proud member of Glasgow life, perfect for recreational swimming.

Fantastic experience: Scotland's oldest pool I believe but beautifully maintained, spotlessly clean and with the nicest, most welcoming and helpful staff I have ever met in a leisure centre. Fantastic experience: wee club with an excellent pool! temperature is perfect You'd often expect some pool clubs with wet and muddy floors. This is not the case for this club! Their app is also handy as you can book your sched 1 week ahead of time. I just hope that they will have more days with 19:30 sched. Looking forward to swim here again soon

Positive experience: Lovely swimming pool with a decent depth - 1.5 metres, so up to my chin at the deep end - set in a bright skylit room with some original Victorian features. A great shame the whirlpool and health suites are still closed as they were a great part of the experience, but the pool itself is definitely onevofbthe nicer ones to visit particularly in quieter hours. Spacious dance hall for yoga and fitness classes. Gym very small and basic and feels quite crowded duento lack of windows, not the nicest but it's there and functional. All vending machines in rest area empty. I'd recommend Maryhill Glasgow Club instead for general gym use.

Fantastic experience: I take my mum to the aqua aerobics here a couple of times a week and she enjoys it. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the pool is small and the lanes can get a little crowded when the aqua classes are on but when the classes finish the pool opens up again and people have more space to swim. It's a smallish pool but it's a great wee club

Fantastic experience: Arrived by taxi from town to find out we should have booked. Staff were so nice and friendly and our two 14yr old girls waited 5mins and were allowed in. Sat in the wee waiting area, a member of staff told us coffe/tea machine was off but went out his way and made my wife a cup of coffee. 5 star service, many thanks!!

Fantastic experience: I took my son here to swim for the first time not long ago and the staff were great. They helped show me where we needed to go to get ready, talked about places near by that had other kids facilities and just generally made us feel very welcome. The pool and facility are clean and the main pool has an amazing Victorian canopy. I would recommend.

Positive experience: A lovely old Victorian building and both the pool and changing areas are really clean. The pool is a bit small and at certain times it can get busy, so if you want a proper swim then make sure to book for lane swimming.

Positive experience: The oldest swimming pool in the UK apparently. Only downside is having to get changed upstairs with the pool being downstairs but it serves its purpose and is relatively clean. 9/10.

Fantastic experience: This is a great sports centre! It is very close and all the people working there are just very kind and great. The gym is nice and there is a good variety of equipment. The swimming pool is great and by the looks of it, quite popular also. I have attended a few spots classes and I can definitely say that the sessions were great. Visiting the centre a few times a week so I am very happy with it! Recommended!

Positive experience: I pop in 3 times in one week and every time staff told me that I can't go swimming, because of sth. Some hair dryers are broken since May and there is no improvements. People eats stinky sandwiches in the sauna what is really annoying. I like zumba and body balance classes - really nice teacher :)

Negative experience: I am so disappointed that they have reduced the family swim to an hour

Negative experience: Not good at all.... arrogant staff. They advertised free family swimming for two hours but not even allowing to be in the pool for one full hour. Staff not behaving nicely with families and kids.

Negative experience: Attention: For the last 5 days, the pool area has not been cleaned as of black residue left around the pool tiles. The same with the showers, there is clumps of hair everywhere. The place could be doing with a good scrub from top to bottom, instead of staff just standing about talking. Very poor.

Negative experience: Every morning..my favourite training.. just little bit disappointed with the man closing time for Tuesday afternoon. Kind of discrimination of mans that I don't like. Apparently God create man and woman..for stay together..maybe they know a different story..

Fantastic experience: Beatiful refurbished Victorian pool kept spotlessly clean by a lovely, dedicated staff. This place and the staff stand head and shoulders above other Glasgow club facilities.

Negative experience: The zumba class i went to was rather boring. Could not see clearly and there was very little to help people see the moves. I wouldn't recommend and am unlikely to go back. There was also nowhere to wait before the class other than on the stairs.

Positive experience: I tend to go to the gym most, its well equipped with treadmills and other aerobic exercise machines as well as weights for muscle building. It's small but it's got all the equipment you really need.

Positive experience: Nice place for a swim. Can be busy at times with kids but no more than any other public pool! Health suite not as up to date as it could be but functional and clean

Negative experience: Standard local authority leisure centre. Been coming for many years. They have a gym and various exercise classes but I only come for the pool. The pool can be be very busy, especially full of kids. A third of the pool is usually segregated for serious swimmers but can feel chocked up. Changing rooms could benefit from a refurb.

Fantastic experience: Good place nice wee swimming pool.

Positive experience: It's OK for a council gym however when using the pool I find it's not really the cleanest of pools out there especially the lockers. The gym is very small but it is functional. I would say it's not for the die hard gym goers but ok for most. It also caters to lady's only sessions in the pool if that's your kind of thing.

Negative experience: Good pool if a bit busy with kids, no real space to swim. Changing rooms are filthy tho, I go weekly at least and it appears they have not been cleaned in around a week or more.

Negative experience: I was drowning under deep water asking for help staff was too busy chatting with each other no one noticed me i was nearly die BUT LUCKILY a Pakistani girl saw me struggling in the deep water she right away jumped in the water and save me out, i pray for her that she live a happy and healthy life Insha allah. Im very happy that i get another life but sad to say all young girls specially reception lady always go to pool side and make the life gaurd busy with stories LifeGuard should me more ALLERT at all the time !!!

Positive experience: Very budget centre. Hot tub is ancient and very small. Small pool, you need to go upstairs to get to the rest of the health suite so if you're not careful then you will fall.
