Ash Manor Sports Centre

Negative experience: We book and play here twice or sometimes even three times a week and there has been no issues so far but today we had a really bad experience by a staff member named EJ. Some of us we about 15 minutes early and proceeded into the pitch so we could wait for the rest of the guys and maybe move the goals the way we wanted since we were the only ones in the whole pitch but then EJ came over and kicked us out the pitch mentioning that we had to pay an extra half an hour if we wanted to be in even tho we were just 15 minutes early. We mentioned to her that we were not starting to play as we still waiting for the rest of the guys but we are just moving the goals to our preferred places and maybe split teams but she was very rude and locked the door saying that we would only be allowed at 19:00 exactly. We wouldn’t walk in the pitch if there was any other team playing but the whole pitch was completely empty and there are lot of occasions we book after other teams train in the pitch and we end up starting 15 minutes late until the other team has left the pitch but we never complain as that’s just normal and it happens so I can see the issue with walking into the pitch 15 minutes early when we are the only ones there. After us there was another group of guys who turned up about 20 minutes early and they just started playing on the empty pitch next to us and nobody told them anything but also can’t see something wrong with that as the pitch was empty anyway. I am not saying play a whole match for free but 10 minutes on an empty pitch when you have already your booking ahead it’s not the end of the world specially when we are return customers to them. That lady would need some training so she can learn about customer service and not being rude. Unacceptable!

Positive experience: Good pitches but a little pricey

Negative experience: No seats. If it rauns you in trouble as no roofs on dugouts.

Positive experience: Good place, many activities to do under one roof. Gym is there but found it a bit smaller as i had imagined, still has equipments to work with. The indoor courts are normally busy due to adjoining school activities but if u are lucky u can find a booking!

Positive experience: Average size gym hall, good variety of equipments for all ages, shower, lock boxes, WC, free car parking, though located inside a school, so keep in mind times for dropping off and picking up.

Fantastic experience: Always a pleasure to use this gym whenever I am out of London visiting family. Compact and friendly, rarely too busy with a good mix of age groups and abilities who use the facilities. It's a refreshing tonic and a joy to spend time in, not as well equipped as some due to its size, but what it lacks in kit it makes up for in character. 5 stars from me!

Positive experience: A nice, small, friendly gym. Not too expensive. It can get stuffy in hot weather.

Fantastic experience: The staff are very knowledge Le and helpful. Lots of classes in all areas of sport and even archery. A great intimate facilties that is not too busy and not covered in mirrors. Staff do 1:1 sessions for a great price with lots of offers available. Worth checking out.

Fantastic experience: Good gym never too busy. Range of machines and weights. Own the astro turf so you can hire out a good quality pitch for a reasonable price if you have a group sharing the price
