Fantastic experience: Shout out for Alanah; whenever she is on duty the shower gel containers are full, the paper towels and cleaning fluids are replenished and she will affect a repair to gym equipment if she can or ensures it's reported to the right person so it gets repaired. Well done.

Fantastic experience: What a lovely day when it could have gone so horribly wrong I'm sure I called to book the spa day using my Groupon voucher but they had no record of it However the wonderful lady on the reception desk not only calming and pleasantly fitted us in but managed to get is on a massage and organised the afternoon tea. My friend and I had a wonderful day chatting and relaxing Thank you 3D

Positive experience: Had a spa treatment booked for me by a family member so when I got to the hotel I was unsure where it was. Came across a staff member called Kim Warren who was just so rude. She was adamant that I had to pay £15 for a day pass to access the spa facilities which I kept telling her I would not be using as I was just there for a pre booked massage. In the end I paid the £15 as she told me I cannot enter without paying for this which I found so confusing. She gave me the wrong directions to the spa and sent me to the pool area instead when she knew I had a massage booked. She also tried to stop my mum entering the pool area at 6pm because that’s when the ‘day pass’ ends however I later on found out from another member of staff that it actually ends at 9pm. She needs some serious customer service training. Luckily the massage therapist I had was lovely.

Positive experience: I mostly use the pool area, nice warm water. The steam room is good also. They also have a sauna and jacuzzi.

Fantastic experience: Clean and well run.

Negative experience: This is a joke. Ive had a membership for 2 years with my partner, I pay 500 pounds a year (1000 with my partner). During the last few months, it has been incredibly filthy, blocked sinks, spider webs in every corner, and bugs coming out of the canalisations. The water in the pool is so dirty that you are unable to see over a metre when under the pool. On one half of the pool, it stinks terribly of canalisation. I will not even mention the loungers, even though they are new. I do not blame the girls from the reception for any of this, only the manager who is responsible for the cleanliness of this hotel. Where is the housekeeping? Or the pool maintainence team? How is this a 4 star hotel?? Please do not take this opinion as some random hate, but rather as advice so that future members will be more satisfied. Because this place has a lot of good things, it used to quiet, calm, and enjoyable, and me and my partner would not like to cancel our membership because of this. Do better. Thank you very much.

Fantastic experience: We bought a spa day for 2, including a sparkling cream tea, spa access and 25 min back massage. Staff were super welcoming and friendly. The afternoon tea was perfect. Gemma gave the best back massage ever and was just so warm and lovely. Would definitely visit again. Thank you!

Negative experience: Came here for a relaxing spa day with my mum and was very disappointed! On arrival the swimming pool was full of children and baby swimming classes! Hardly a relaxing environment! Our treatment had been moved due to staff sickness, not their fault but when it came to our new time only one of us received the treatment and when questioned was told I had to rearrange my time again for a later time! Resulting in having the afternoon tea before treatment! We have been to many spas and we can honestly say this was by far the worst we had been too. It felt more of a leisure centre rather than a 'spa' facility. Very disappointing day which was meant to be a great Christmas present for my mum.

Negative experience: I came for a Spa Day on Thursday 16th November with my husband Staff on reception pleasant Ropes too small, one size fits all, as long as you are a size small, not 6 foot man!! My facial was very disappointing. In the room for less than 20 minutes, from start to end. 5 of those was waiting for the Therapist to come into the room to start and to collect my things at the end, get off bed, as soon as therapist left room, straight after treatment slip, flip flops and rope back on, back at the gym at 14.50 and swimming pool area before 14.55 The worst facial, I have ever had. I hope the thing the product was taken off face was cleaner than the band on my head I am an elderly lady with dry skin, having been in the swimming pool, sauna and steam room, that day, further drying out my skin, before the facial, at 14.30 The products used on the face seemed sparsely put on I took my head band off myself at the end of the treatment, as the therapist had left it on. The first time I have ever done that and I was expecting to see a fresh clean one. It was a grimy thing that was fit for the bin I wish I had my mobile to hand to document my findings this afternoon I hope the therapist washed her hands before my treatment as I was met with a mop and dirty towels from a previous client. She did have 5 minutes, plus to wash them!! The food and drink which we consumed was also lacking in quality The coffee in the morning was very weak, even though we asked for a strong black one. The afternoon tea which we had at 3pm was also disappointing. The bread on the sandwiches was beginning to dry out. The ham in the sandwich was overshadowed by the thick white bread slice The jam and cream portion was very fugal on the plain scone The steam room was warm but lacked steam during our visit The sauna was good but the timer seemed to be damp so not sure how accurate the timings were The swimming pool floor in places was slippery, one young man did go flying but was lucky to fall into and grab the post The jacuzzi was very foamy when it started and hot like a bath The 2 hour round trip on a foggy morning was disappointing for me and my husband who had a massage. In his words," Was a gentle stroke on his back!!" Like my gentle stroke round my face!! Needs to improve for us to be back

Fantastic experience: I took my daughter for a spa treat with afternoon tea and everything was just perfect*. The staff are so welcoming and amiable, the gym, beauty salon and hotel kept in tip top condition and the treatments were relaxing and professionally performed. Courtney, the assessment manager who did my treatment was a delight to meet and my daughter thoroughly enjoyed her facial too. The afternoon tea was perfect and all our dietary requirements were met (red velvet cake was delicious!). *I have only one little gripe and that was I felt a little unsafe walking around the pool area - rubber mats to walk along would help because the tiles felt very slippery and having just recovered from a shoulder replacement I was scared I might slip and fall. I would definitely recommend and will be back again for another treat soon I hope!

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend a spa day here, this is my 5th time returning because the staff are very friendly and the customer service is fantastic. Excellent treatments, the back massage by Gemma today was so relaxing. The facilities are great, the jacuzzi is nice and hot, and the afternoon tea was delicious!

Fantastic experience: Really enjoyed my spa day here. The spa do some great packages at very good prices. The treatments were to die for. I like the new location of the treatment rooms. Only thing to note is, there were no sockets to plug my hair straighteners in. I used the hairdryers provided but the cord was half in the wall so it didn't give much manoeuvre.

Negative experience: Lockers are all destroyed, what kind of people are coming here , none of them i could use the hanger. As the hanging bar and head was missing, which connect the actual hanger. As a first time impression, the lockers needs to be properly updated.

Negative experience: Told them to cancel my direct debit as I don't want to attend anymore. I was assured that it was canceled but next month I got charged again. Expensive for what you get as well. Staff was friendly but someone doesn't do the job properly.

Negative experience: Signed up for this gym but I’ll be cancelling the membership the place is filthy what a waste of time!

Positive experience: Nice cosy place. I'll give 5 stars when all facilities will start working. Right now there are some technical problems but it's understandable after so many months being closed. But it's really lovely place with great staff.

Negative experience: Have been a member of this Gym many years. Today I am cancelling my membership.The place is very close to my house and this was probably the only reason I stayed with them. It's not exactly cheap place in Corby and unfortunately the price does not match the quality. I agree with previous reviews about cleanliness and hygiene. They are very poor.The showers always full of hair. Steam room is closed quite often and when it's open it's quite often stinks with urine. The place was closed for months during the lockdown and they even did not manage to fix the lights in the changing cabins and shower door latches. And cherry on the top! Today the manager of the place did not let us in, because we did not have masks! last week we were allowed without masks and now ,without any warnings ,they are just turning people out!!! But still keep charging us our membership fees. It's a shame to leave this place because of very poor management. Staff is very nice and polite, but the place obviously have issues with manager.

Fantastic experience: New social distances measures very good. All machines have been spaced out and many have been moved to one of the suites as an extension of the gym facilities.

Negative experience: Good gym but very dirty toilets and bathroom. Needs a daily cleaner also staff are always on their phones when trying to communicate with them.

Positive experience: I've been a member for over 20 years with the ever changing owners and management team. Cleanliness is probably the biggest issue and facilities like pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna can b very hit or miss whether they are all working and temperature can change from day to day. Other than that, it's normally quiet when I go so it suits me. Although weekends tend to be cluttered with the Spa day crowd or noisy kids.

Fantastic experience: Had a massage from Jemma, deep tissue, wow, walking upstairs better was the first noticeable benefit, the rest of the body is now stress free. You have a knot in your muscles and this lady will seek it out and destroy it for sure. Total recommend and excellent value for money, cracking team all round.

Negative experience: Unprofessional staff texting whilst massaging injured / bruised my wife's back during a therapeutic massage!! Offered a free silver treatment as compensation. We refused why on earth would that be accepted if they can't get it right the first time. buyer beware !!
