Positive experience: Great sports venue, with some fantastic facilities. Shame about the sterile feel of the bar area, feels more like a waiting room.

Fantastic experience: Friendly staff, good choice of drinks and the kids got chips so they were happy!! Thank you.

Fantastic experience: Great community place. Lots to do , staff very welcoming. Nice and clean. When heavy rain the field will submerge due to proximity to the river. Parking is located little bit off site

Negative experience: Beware! Somerdale Pavilion carpark is controlled by Smart Parking Ltd. The controlled parking signs outside the carpark are not prominent. There are big yellow signs pointing to 'Frys carpark', we just saw those. We attended a private party there. The reception wasn't manned. We didn't know about the charges and didn't notice the pale Smart parking signs at night during torrential rain. A bill turned up two weeks later for £60 for just two hours parking. We appealed to Somerdale Pavilion who managed to get it reduced to £20, still a lot for less than 2 hours parking.

Positive experience: I went to watch my son play in a football game, I took my dog with me. When we arrived we found out that dogs aren't welcome. Shame as I am a responsible dog owner and always clean up after him. There was nowhere we could stay out of the rain and I ended up sitting in the car for hours (and we had to pay for parking)

Negative experience: I was wrongly given a parking ticket which after a long distressing dispute was cancelled. I was then threatened into removing my previous review. Lucky I can now post this with piece of mind. Please do avoid this horrible car park and centre.

Negative experience: Feel like i've been scammed by the parking company and Pavillion. Was given a £60 parking fine and didn't even get out of the car.

Negative experience: Got stung with a £60 parking fine for "staying over ten minutes". Just a drop off, and didn't leave the car. Didn't see any clear warning on ten minute drop offs limit. Agree with the many other reviews, the parking charges seem a scam.

Fantastic experience: Made a sports team booking initially via email, quick responses, very accommodating and flexible. On arrival everything was as it was stated or better. Staff and management were incredibly helpful, polite and supportive with parking matters and all other matters especially during a time with all the restrictions and measures. Clean tidy and organised. Very satisfied, highly recommend and will use again

Fantastic experience: We do Parkrun here from time to time and have stopped for a warming coffee and hot choc for the kids. My overriding impression is one of a well run, clean facility with really nice staff, who are polite, efficient and focused. They seem do achieve this in a relaxed and informal manner and its lovely ro visit. A warning though. The car parking is very strict. The carpark company is separate and will issue a ticket if you go over your hours. Be careful.

Positive experience: Nice people. Had booked a room for a formal dinner. All very helpful. The evening went very well, though the vegan main course wasn't quite up to scratch and the service was a bit slow on bringing the meals out. In general though was very pleasant.

Positive experience: The refurbished building is so much better than its previous incarnation. The building has a fresh, modern feel and the air conditioning worked. The prices at the bar were decent and the staff efficient and friendly. The dj was ... so dreadfully cliched that he became fun to listen to!
