Positive experience: Shame it is closing at Christmas

Negative experience: Worst gym I have ever been to. A guy started shouting at me and “go away” this broke my heart. Big and kind of muscular get him fired

Positive experience: Staff very friendly and helpful , classes tapered tomorrow capabilities

Negative experience: The gym itself here is nice and modern but customer service wise it isn't the best. I asked to change my membership from gym to swim on the 1st. I couldn't I had to close one and start another which is fine but on day 2 of the 30 day notice my log in was blocked so I can't access the gym at all now and email communication stopped so I'm paying for a service I never received. I won't be making the new membership now as I don't trust them to let me in. My log in won't work on the site via PC or phone yet my partners works fine on the same phone/PC.

Positive experience: My review is of the pool and service received only - a good leisure centre, very friendly staff and a nice pool. Offers a discount card which automatically applies to your future online bookings for people meeting a certain criteria, the staff member I spoke to on reception was more than happy to help me with buying this. One star lost as the pool family changing room was out of service, hopefully this was an isolated incident rather than ongoing daily and I'm not sure where the disabled toilet is in the pool area (if there is one) - other than that great pool and I will definitely be booking more sessions

Fantastic experience: Everything you need & more, affordable, friendly & welcoming to all shapes & sizes. Staff are lovely & very informative & extremely happy to help even if you have a "stupid" question haha. As a plus size woman, I feel so comfortable to work out & to get back to my pre spinal operation weight. Easy enough to book & cancel sessions, equipment great quality majority is Matrix Gym Equipment. Also with the whole Covid-19 stuff they are following all guidelines which makes me feel safe as I work out. Although it's not overly big there's always something to work on while you wait for something else. I can't currently do anything weight related due to my surgery, & I don't feel pressured by staff that I should be doing that, everything is in my own pace & they understand that which makes me actually LOVE going. Even when I have to miss a few days or recently a week between sessions due to my back pain, staff don't make any comments (like ive had in the past at another gym I've been to). I just want to say a huge thank you to all staff at Radcliffe.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic clinic. Huge range of treatments. I had a course of post surgery lymphatic drainage massages and they were amazing. Natalia was very experienced and knowledgeable. The massages made a huge difference to my body & shape and I will definitely be going back for more treatments.

Positive experience: It's fine as a basic no frills gym. I have had a supervised routine for last few times. This was designed for me. At this time hardly any clients due to covid etc. So good gym for most folk.

Negative experience: The receptionists must of been having a bad day - became very abrupt when asking her a question on the phone or perhaps I was having a bad day. The pool was great among with all succeeding intersections with guest ...and staff‍♂️

Negative experience: Absolute terrible establishment with no common sense for general swimming and health and safety. If you want your children to be swimming in the same pool as fast front crawl swimmers and sprint swimmers with no lane separation then please come to this place. The general swimming sessions are for all swimmers but the inexperienced staff can't seem to grasp there should be at least 1 lane separation for the avid swimmers and the relaxed swimmers.

Fantastic experience: My wife and I go for the swimming pool. It is well priced. With further discounts available by purchasing blocks of 10 swims in a card. The changing rooms are open. One men's, one women's and a family changing room. The men's has two showers and two toilets. There are two hand dryers one at hand height and one higher up for drying hair, both are free. The important thing is the pool is clean, the changing rooms are clean and staff are friendly.

Positive experience: I take the kids swimming here. Cheap and convenient. That's about it. Pool isn't the best and for some reason always has sand on the bottom. Not sure it it gets clean as often as should. Also highly chlorinated.

Positive experience: The pool is ok but I doubt it will be for much longer without any investment and too many inconsiderate visitors really let this place down. The changing rooms and toilets are pretty disgusting - obviously this is due in part to the unacceptable behaviours of many visitors, however they're also not well cleaned and have become rundown without regular maintenance. My understanding was that this was supposed to be a 'temporary' pool, however it's been there for years now without any investment or regular maintenance and I may be wrong but I don't think there's any sign of the 'permanent' pool returning any time soon. The spectator area is often a bit of a joke, thanks to visitors who think it's acceptable to move chairs and block the way without any consideration for anyone else trying to get in and out. It's also a joy to have the occasional parent or group of parents in the spectators area who think it's acceptable to shout and swear their heads off surrounded by young children (with them, waiting and in lessons) at a children's swimming lesson. It's also outrageous that people feel that it's acceptable to reserve changing cubicles, hooks and bench space, especially in such tiny changing rooms with only two cubicles - and all the more outrageous that some people do this across multiple half hour swimming lessons. It's often impossible to change at all in there due to the lack of space thanks to these people who clearly have no consideration for anyone else. There are adequate lockers provided if people don't want to hold on to their children's bags during a lesson. The staff are always really lovely, helpful and friendly, so I feel bad for them that the deteriorating venue and inconsiderate visitors let them down and I don't feel able to give a higher rating.
