Lough Moss Leisure Centre

Fantastic experience: My grandsons birthday party was arranged in the centre. The facilities were warm, clean, tidy, well laid out for kids and parents, and a good selection of rideon toys were provided in addition to the excellent bouncy castle. There is a fully fitted kitchen with everything you could need to either prepare or reheat food for the party. The staff were great, very pleasant, and helpful and made the day even better. Parking excellent.

Fantastic experience: Love lough moss. Right on our door step. Great for children's parties. Great path to walk around, beautiful wildflower and plenty of space for picnic. Park has something for all ages too.

Positive experience: Go here a lot, there this morning to watch my grandson play in Carryduff Colts end of season competition. Only reason it’s four stars today is down to lack of parking and we had a toddler and a baby in a pram. It was a struggle getting ourselves to the pitches. Great morning though and the young players were a joy to watch.

Fantastic experience: I love the gym and the classes in Lough Moss. The staff are excellent and it has a friendly atmosphere. The park around Lough Moss is beautiful too. The leisure centre does need a bit of a refurb though.

Negative experience: Cancelled gym membership by direct debit as instructed by one of the staff members, went back after 2 months and said I owed two months worth of membership including the current month.. Some of the staff are very friendly and helpful make no mistake but the place is run by cyborgs with no sense of humanity.

Fantastic experience: I go swimming there most weeks and it is really nice. They also do swimming lessons for kids and sessions on a Sunday when the whole pool is open to the public.

Fantastic experience: My son loves the park here, has good variety of swings slides etc for kids of all ages. New gym has been put in and looks very good. Don't find the reception staff too welcoming. Has alot on for adults and kids like zumba, boxing and ballet classes for example. Has changing facilities if needed and good parking. There is also a small walk around the football pitch which is good busy with dog walkers and my son loves to go and see the horse on the way round the walk. Has outdoor gym facilities also throughout the walk.

Negative experience: Really needs expansion and updating to cater for the ever expanding Carryduff and surrounding areas. A pool is essential and some tennis courts would help.

Negative experience: Totally inadequate for purpose. Changing rooms are awful with peeling paint and worn out floors. Lockers are delaminating. Pulse gym equipment is pretty new but has poor range of adjust ability. I live 0.3 miles away but drive to Lisburn leisure Plex the difference is night and day, incredible facilities. Both are run and operated by same council I don't understand why Lisburn and Castlereagh council are allowing this . And it can't be money as they have spent a fortune putting in 4g pitches which will generate income.
