Positive experience: A substantial and busy leisure centre. Good value especially if you enjoy fitness classes and use the pool and gym. I tend to just use the gym and my only comment is that the piped music is too loud in certain parts of the gym, namely the free weight area. It's too loud to be blocked out by the headphones nearly all gym members wear. Maybe a few hours without it altogether might be an idea, especially as it doesn't seem to be important to the majority?

Negative experience: They love to keep the hearing on even in the height of summer. Swimming area is unbearable to sit on when kids are at swimming lessons

Positive experience: A free day pass is useful to experience. We use the pool but there are also other activities too. But the lane swimming is too busy time.

Positive experience: Bowls sign up chaotic - should really sort out if you are going to advertise membership you can actually take the membership fee.

Fantastic experience: Great pool

Positive experience: There's something for everyone here and it's quite well maintained, while the pool is basic and often victim of an "unexpected closure" the prices are reasonable. The gym is very well equipped all be it priced out by the likes of pure gym but it's geared more at lifestyle than budget. Word of warning they seem to want to heat the pool from the outside in. If you are sitting poolside take light clothing it is unbearable. Play world also lives here which is a terrific soft play facility for kids. I do think that the session times adopted in covid are a real problem. These have continued in practice and it can make trips not very cost efficient at all especially when flexibility is needed with children that may have additional needs and timings are hard to keep.

Negative experience: Can't say about the gym but the pool area and the changing area for the pool is really dirty. There's detritus in the children's and toddler area that's collected in the corners of the pool, the tiles are grimey, in the changing area the surfaces of the stalls haven't been cleaned in a very long time as there is dust caked on the hinges. The past couple of times my family and I have gone to the pool we got sick within 24 hours of being there, which have included everything from gastrointestinal infections as well as bacterial infections in our throats. Wouldn't go there again unless they sort the pool out and give it a proper deep clean.

Negative experience: Horrendously expensive. They make no exceptions for out of town folks by charging 2 months minimum membership. Access to only one portion of the facility costs more than another gym would charge for an entire facility.

Positive experience: Good pool, warm enough. Good staff. Fair prices

Fantastic experience: Book a lane for swimming and swim your socks off :) clean changing room and showers. System seems to work well, or does for me.

Positive experience: Only been once but I'd say pretty good!

Negative experience: Tried to use the website to find the swimming timetable and book a session. Literaly couldn't figure out how to do it.

Negative experience: Pool was far too cold. Paid for an hour but had to leave after 45 minutes because our toddler was shivering too much. Wont go back. Was really awkward using the website to book and pay too.

Fantastic experience: Love going ..aqua classes are fantastic.

Fantastic experience: It's a great leasure centre.. Though gym leaks like a sieve when it rains. The personal trainers are great and great free sessions to get you over that initial fear

Fantastic experience: Went for the first part of the Climbing Beginner course, and our instructor Richard was absolutely terrific. Friendly, focused, taking the time needed to explain very well all safety aspects. Looking forward to the second and final session of the course

Fantastic experience: Great centre. The swimming pool is nice and clean and they have recently refurbished the place. swimming lessons are also available and the instructors are experienced and helpful with the children. There are also lessons that can be put together for people with disabilities to help with mobility and their recovery as the centre has specialised staff and equipment for that. The centre also has a great rock climbing , rock bouldering facility with different challenging levels of ability catering for the occasional climber as well as for the well seasoned one. There are also climbing lessons available for children and adults. The cafeteria is great offering both warm food as well as cold sandwiches, cakes and nibbles and I personally recommend their coffee.

Negative experience: The cafe here does nothing more than the bare minimum on everything from service to quality and cleanliness but charges like its a high end brasserie. Its actually ridiculous.

Positive experience: It's got decent range of facilities, but there are clear signs of underspending. The showers and changing brooms of the swimming pool need a drastic overhaul. The new decoration in the pool area is also questionable.

Fantastic experience: Perfect, all on one level. Good equipment and well ventilated. Great atmosphere.

Positive experience: Great swimming lessons for my kids. Were afraid of swimming pools before they started . Unfortunately the showers need a bit of attention. Only 2 out of 4 working properly. Leaking taps since September still not sorted!

Positive experience: Everiything a child would want in a play area. Our grandchildren happily play for an hour at a time Not too expensive Cafe provides snack meals - jacket potatoes chips etc.range liked by kids. Restaurant looks across at swimming pools. .

Negative experience: Not a bad swimming pool but reception staff are very rude and need some sort of customer training
