Fantastic experience: Got everything you need, and the sauna and steam room are a great bonus. Great bunch of people in there too.

Fantastic experience: Excellent centre for exhibitions. Staff very good. Had our model rail exhibition there.

Positive experience: Gym floor was ok...plenty of equipment, free weights, cardio machines, water dispenser etc. I had a decent workout. Male changing room was grim however, really not nice. Shame. £8.30 for the day rate was bit pricey too.

Negative experience: Tried to join with my daughter who is homeschooled. Wouldn’t let us come in before 3pm “in case she was skiving school”. The female just seemed to love being difficult and wouldn’t listen when I advised I’d be accompanying her on every session. So we took our business elsewhere where we were welcomed.

Positive experience: Visited for the small model railway show. A nice show however I think there should've been maybe 1 or 2 less trade stalls, as they do take up room for actual layouts.

Positive experience: Municipal sports centre attached to chapel high school. Multiple indoor sports possible with football pitches outdoors. Local venue for a MMA competition today on day of visit.

Negative experience: The standard of cleanliness has declined dramatically since the new operators acquired the contract. OK, it’s a municipal leisure centre, no one’s expecting a spa...but the same pink skin marks on the shower walls for months? The same dirty marks on the steam room walls since Christmas. Nice! They’ve got a chart to check on the cleanliness, but it’s just box ticking. Needs addressing ASAP.

Positive experience: Ok. 4 stars, because the machines never get properly fixed. steam room/changing room very rarely get clean to a good standard. When this changes I will put to 5 star

Negative experience: I used to be a member here and i am currently looking for a gym to join in the local area,I have decided not to re join chapel leisure centre after getting feedback from current members about the quality of service and facilities offered.
