Fantastic experience: Great and clean...very busy

Fantastic experience: The membership prices are cheaper than any gym in the local area, if there is one you wont get the facilities & sauna & lastly a fabulous team who even enjoy working together like family. Initially welcomed by josh with a free day visit. Further, welcomed & shown around by Chantelle who went out her way to engage and see how I am, along with full details of what was included in my advance package. Lovley gym, not over crowded, male & female sauna absolutely great for those who cannot share due to religion, 2 extra passes per month to bring anyone. Lastly, such a lovley, friendly, funny team. It is so hard to see a team that so strong and care for each other. But the staff on duty on my visit were absolutely fantastic, went out there way to engage, so polite and caring. This team present well and have the whole business in control, the brand should specially thank the 3 staff on duty as my decision partially to join on the spot was down to them. Believe me there no gym that offering EXTRA FREE ADD ONS , AFFORDABLE PRICES along with A STRONG TEAM

Fantastic experience: If I'd been asked 12 months ago I'd have rated it 2 stars as the gym had staff but they simply weren't present or approachable HOWEVER ever since management and staff was changed, it's not just a gym no more, for me personally it's like my 2nd home! Chantelle gets the job done! I asked for a hairdryer as we'd been left without any in men's changing rooms and she took the feedback on board instantly and provided brand new ones as soon as the company delivered them through their portal. She's so friendly and always has a laugh with me because I always provide feedback to help improve facilities. BIG shoutout to Laura who makes my shakes regularly and has learnt my order so I don't have to repeat myself each time. She even went above and beyond after I challenged her and had me my shake ready to hand me as soon as I was leaving the gym today! Ebonie failed the challenge but I'll give her credit as she's also lovely along with the rest of the staff in there! Great work everyone keep it up! P.s. Free shakes for a year after this review! Haha

Fantastic experience: Very nice place

Fantastic experience: First day using the gym yesterday, had Chloe show me where everything was on arrival and how to use the locks on the lockers in the changing rooms as they are tricky if you don't know how to use them. She was very friendly ,approachable, nothing was a problem for her and we had a chat afterwards on my way out to check if I'd enjoyed myself in there. Plenty of equipment even when I was there at 6pm which is a busier time of day, did an hours workout, half an hour on cardio machines and half an hour on the weight machines. Daily classes available too which is a nice bonus. Will have to try the sauna room at some point too.

Positive experience: Decent gym. Most affordable one around. Would appreciate there being classes at more accessible times. During day or early morning during weekdays. 8pm is too late for a yoga session and there is ahtdky any in the morning. Another downfall is how loud the music is. Can hear it in the ladies sauna and in the yoga room and is no where near peaceful music. Sounds like a festival with everything vibrating with how loud the music is. When asking for music volume to be lowered, they turn it down then put it back up again a couple minutes later. Please fix this as I read many other reviews stating the same thing.

Fantastic experience: Gains. All the gains. I found this place by accident after another gym honestly didn't feel right, I'm so glad I gave it a chance but now I'm in love with it and bringing my friends to come join it too! Theres set rooms for cycling and certain workouts, saunas in the bathrooms, spacious locker rooms, lots of machines and free weights area and a protein bar to get food or smoothies! Definitely recommend.

Positive experience: There is plenty of new and high-quality equipment, with a variety of training areas for various needs. Clean and modern changing facilities with a well-kept sauna. Reasons for not giving 5 stars: 1. For £30 a month, there needs to be more classes. My partner has restarted her membership almost exclusively for the classes and was disappointed to find there's now a fraction available to book compared to when she was a member previously. 2. When equipment goes out of order, it can often take too long for it to be repaired. Otherwise, it's a very good gym. Better than other commercial gyms in Preston such as JD Gym, Puregym and Gym Works, but that is reflected in the price.

Negative experience: Horrible attitude

Negative experience: Looks decent there's isn’t enough equipment. You don’t need six platforms for all the vloggers! Who keeps tying knots in the handles it’s annoying. And stop people from training in sliders . It’s more of an influencers gym I feel. The nautilus equipment is great. There’s no fixed barbells or ez-curl bars. Those are basics. Only one leg extension one hamstring curl!! It’s quite a small gym and looks deceiving online. I get what I need to get done however. Update I’ve never been in and seen all the equipment working something or another is always out of order. Then there was the cable machine that broke and hit me on the top of the head before Xmas. The gym should have been situated at the old sports direct site!! This gym is just way too small and lacks the basic equipment

Positive experience: Music is always too loud you can't talk to people without shouting. They don't have a ladies only area but some areas are quieter than others so ladies tend to hang around there instead. Machines are well kept although there should be a sanitising station for us to use for each machine so we can wipe them down after use. Everything else is great!

Fantastic experience: Came to Everest for the first time today and it’s been the best gym experience I’ve ever had. ADAM has made the whole experience AMAZING for me. From the induction around the gym, to great customer service. I got a vegan protein shake and it was delicious. i would HIGHLY recommend the gym! Thanks so much Adam. Also Ste has been a great help! Negative experience: Dirty sauna and changing rooms - the cleaner tried to tell me what to wear in the sauna instead of doing his job . Avoid this gym - definitely violating health and safety regs

Fantastic experience: I have been attending this gym for the last 12 months. All the staff are really friendly and knowledgeable. I enjoy doing the classes, however the recent changes to the class times and availability mean I am able to attend less classes which is quite disappointing.

Positive experience: Great gym friendly staff however not enough classes.

Negative experience: Too busy, equipment is broken, music too loud and too expensive when compared to the other gyms around. Need to sort out many issues.

Fantastic experience: I have recently joined everlast after having a baby, I have found that Everlast is a very welcoming gym. The staff, especially Jamie, are all extremely helpful and encouraging. The classes are high energy and really fun!

Fantastic experience: I ve been @ Everlast gym since it opened last year and I really enjoyed it.most of my friends are also members here. Really nice atmosphere and very friendly staff. Manager Anita always helping whenever we need. Also enjoying protein shakes all new flavors. Would definitely refer more friends to come and enjoy.

Fantastic experience: Recently moved to the area and was given a day pass by a young man who came to my work. Last week I used the pass and was very impressed with the gym. I’m not much of a gym person but I was made to feel really comfortable by the staff and I was given a tour by a personal trainer who gave me a lot of advice and has now convinced me to sign up and get myself in shape :-D

Fantastic experience: I give the five star rating for a couple of reasons , one is that the gym is amazing and got everything I need and aswell as for other gym members the staff which great you are absolutely brilliant in helping you achieve your goals and great in helping you with other gym aspects. I can honestly say if it wasn't for everlast gym I can say I wouldn't be here writing this review. It's got plenty of space and many different machines they do shakes food and tea and coffee I am very satisfied with what I'm paying for and would not hesitate to pay more if needed again I have to praise the staff they are very friendly and welcoming all I can say is thankyou to the staff and everlast for being there for me and all other gym members..

Fantastic experience: I have been attending the gym since november I didn't have much confidence so I decided to get a personal trainer this helped me emensley I now attend some of classes which are brilliant All the staff have been extremely helpful and always chatty. The changing rooms are very clean as so is the gym.I would highly recommend the gym to everyone.

Fantastic experience: Been training here now a few mths. The gym is amazin, bags of equipment for all your needs and decent equpiment as well, unlike your JD/Total fitness . Great facilities like a microwave, drinks machines , pre-workouts , smoothies and cofees with a nice little area to chill and enjoy in The membership pricing is great too with many options to suit. The team here are super friendly and approachable and always asking and listening to feedback which as a member makes you feel valued which again you don't get at most gyms and always present on the gym floor to ask questions or help the guys all do give great service and make you feel welcome . If your in the Preston area definitly give this place a go you won't be disapointed

Fantastic experience: Fab gym. Iv been coming nearly a year and I am comfortable coming. The staff are friendly. Can get busy but it's just about timing. Classes are really good.

Positive experience: Excellent gym for the price point, would ideally like it to be open later on weekends but can't have everything. Unfortunately, some of the machines remain broken (the leg extension machine has been out of order for more than a week and it's the only one in the gym), which is not acceptable. Cleanliness of toilets could also be improved. However, I really rate the staff here - super friendly and always willing to have a chat. Overall, happy member and by far the best gym in the area.

Negative experience: The gym is good for the range of equipment available. However some of them are always broken, which is very poor standard for a new gym. There could be more than one machine for some of the machines that are available. The most negative point is that "The music is too loud". Its a gym for God's sake and not a "night club". You come to the gym for peace of body and mind but to leave the gym as soon as you are there because of banging headache.

Positive experience: Good variety of equipment and free weights. Always clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. Only negatives for me is the lack of variety of cable attachments and no easy or hex bars. The gym goers can be a bit frustrating, slamming weights down and not tidying away after themselves, but this is only a minor grumble.

Fantastic experience: awesome little gym, I don't really go to commercial gyms as I never feel welcomed, I visited recently I was there to preorder a game at game but was pleasantly surprised by how good the gym actually was, the equipment is clean and new, sauna was closed on arrival but for cleaning was open long before I left, the staff seem well informed and really supportive, they even gave me some tips and recommendations for workouts across Preston, I'm not local to the gym so whilst I won't be a regular I definitely will be visiting again.

Negative experience: I have never felt more uncomfortable in a gym before! The lady receptionist was so cold and unwelcoming she had acted like I was an inconvenience as opposed to welcoming me to the gym. Consequently I had to show myself around the gym and the changing rooms, I had to ask a fellow gym goer how to use the locker locks (which 1/4 of the lockers were “out of order”) a significant lack of mirrors, the sauna was out of service blocked off by a dirty sign with tape hanging off, the showers were grimy and the toilets were dirty. I couldn’t see one sanitisation station for cleaning equipment down before and after use either. I spent an hour at Everlast gym before leaving. If you want a nice, clean and welcoming gym to use regularly; this isn’t it!

Fantastic experience: Been with Everlast since it's opened and it's the best gym Iv been too! The vibes and energy with the staff too is brilliant. Makes me love my journey even more. Amazing classes especially the boxing!

Fantastic experience: It's always overwhelming joining a new gym, Jamie made me feel really welcome and comfortable, introduced me to all the machines and showed me how to use them. Jamie also helped me to create a work out plan so I know exactly what I'm doing when I'm there. All in all, great first impressions. Thanks Jamie!

Positive experience: Really good place . I love the vibe. Almost all the equipments are available. I found this gym to be an affordable gym with all cool machine and view . It's not a 24/7 gym which will be an issue with many people. But overall it's one of the best . Forgot to mention they have an area for boxing as well .

Fantastic experience: Wow, this gym is fantastic! Loads of equipment, plenty of space and fantastic staff who are really friendly but professional and so helpful with my programs and bringing me on. I was initially nervous about joining as hadn’t done any exercise for a couple of years and now I’m motivated on leaving and returning! I’ve come on leaps and bounds and feeling and looking fitter, stronger and so much better! Anita the manageress goes above and beyond and always greats me with a hello and checks in on my progress which is lovely - my only regret is not starting sooner! Thank you Everlast

Fantastic experience: To the haters and bully’s Anita has turned this gym around fast- when I first joined young staff no boundaries or rules, equipment out no etiquette at times, of course Anita is going to put boundaries in place because if she didn’t then accidents happen and people get hurt. She’s a human being and I’ve only seen a welcoming side to her. Sounds like ruffled feathers. Having new management shouldn’t be a reflection on someone’s job role. Another thing to add being in this industry myself I’ve never witness anything un towards since Anita started give her a break. New staff now with firm boundaries in place it’s about the customers experience I get no one likes a new boss coming in changing the way it was but it’s a good step in the right direction

Negative experience: Been going to everlast since the start of August. Used to be a great gym until the new manager arrived (Anita) Constantly picking on us as she said we look intimidating and falsely accused us of threatening her staff. Came up to me and 2 of my friends and told us to get out because we are training in groups. No where in the terms and conditions did it say that you are not allowed to train with 2 other people when I signed up. Barred me 3 times back to back and everytime I tried to reason with her she’d raise her voice Manager is called Anita when she leaves someone please let me know. Arrogant woman and staff look miserable since she’s come. Arrogant woman

Fantastic experience: I would highly Recommend Everlast preston , this gym has a wonderful vibe , welcoming staff on hand and full kitted out gym and classes. Staff are very approachable and knowledgeable. Gym it always clean , busy but always able to get on equipment .

Fantastic experience: Just joined this Gym after time away from exercise. The staff are so helpful, friendly but professional and I feel so motivated when I come here, even the new GM Anita has made time for me and she is so lovely. Highly recommended!

Negative experience: This gym used to be so good, unfortunately due to consistency of staff it has gone down hill completely. The management is awful. The amount of dedicated staff which have left within the space of two months is shocking. The atmosphere of the gym has gone, it isn’t welcoming how it used to be and I am so disappointed it’s come to this. Need to get this gym back to how it used to be.

Fantastic experience: Awesome gym, been training here since it opened, staff are brilliant, GM is well down to earth and easy to approach, she takes on all feedback and makes you feel part of the Everlast gym family. Strongly recommend this gym, good variety of training equipment, plater loaded machines, cable machines, bag area, good selection of cardio machines. Gym is constantly kept clean. 10/10 Brilliant gym to join especially now the new year is arriving and for those who have a new year resolution to get fit, join Everlast gym now. (Convenient if you want to go shopping after your workout as its in the retail park)

Negative experience: Went to the gym TWICE this weekend and it was closed BOTH times. Absolutely ridiculous with no warning and a wasted journey, there is barely any staff and badly run!!

Positive experience: I'm getting used to it after my old gym closed down. It's taken a while but I do quite like it now. Plenty of good machines and equipment. Nice power showers. Staff just let you get on with your workout, which I like. There are a few things let it down: standard of cleaning; staff don't seem to get on with eachother very well; some of the male staff don't seem to actually do any work; sometimes the music is insanely loud.

Positive experience: Good classes & helpful staff. It would be lovely if there are different classes.

Fantastic experience: Have to say the classes Hustle , Haymaker & Cranked with Dave Jones are superb. Varied & tough particularly the Hustle classes , Dave pushes & encourages everyone no matter what their abilities are. Recommended

Fantastic experience: Super friendly staff (and customers)! My car battery died in the car park and despite not being a member, a couple from the gym we're happy to come out in the pouring rain to try and bump start it. Really appreciated the efforts, so thanks so much!

Fantastic experience: Having experienced a few Gyms over the years. This has to be the best, the staff are friendly, and are on hand to help, It gives a more personal touch. The App works well to book classes, keep note of your membership details etc. Anita the manager is very approachable and easy to talk to, and the £10 membership is worth it just to see Dave, (Dishy Dave)!... In all seriousness, there is plenty of equipment, obviously at busy times it's the same as any other gym. The classes are fantastic, and run A.M and P.M. I would avoid Sophie's hustle unless you have a day off the following day you will ache! . Sophie also does Massage therapy which is amazing, she also teaches yoga. That in itself makes membership worth it's weight in gold! To do separate yoga classes elsewhere is a cost of £8 per session!... I note a lot of negative comments, one being from someone who only works out for '30 mins'... I personally think that everlast is an asset to the area, definitely worth checking out. A lot have also complained about the music being too loud, I have a hearing impairment, if it is problematic for you, ask for it to be turned down. It's that simple.

Positive experience: It's OK I guess. Has lots of great equipment. Not much designated space for floor work though. I find some of the staff aren't particularly professional in my view or friendly, (a minor incident today prompted this comment). Not worth reporting above, but it leaves a bad impression to me, especially if anyone else saw it too. It is dark, the lighting is more like a nightclub feel and so is the music... very loud, especially when a class is on. I absolutely love music and get that it adds an atmosphere but come on.... its repetitive too, guaranteed to hear the same tracks... Coupled with shouting instructors in an open layout fitness room. I'm not yet convinced on cleanliness yet either. The cardio machines always seem to have a smeared consol panel when I've used them, not great. These should be routinely checked regularly depending on how busy it gets. This review probably seems like a whine, but having used different Gyms for over 10 years, first impressions are extremely important to me. At this point, I'm not sure about this gym. I will just see how things go for now. BTW, my partner loves it..
