Negative experience: Dishonest company, owns money to our commercial cleaning company. Has two invoices outstanding and is holding our equipment and products

Fantastic experience: Much quieter than other gyms which enables you to use all the equipment you want. Clean. Owners are very hands on and friendly.

Fantastic experience: The staff are really friendly, the equipment you can tell they spent a lot of money on & the cleanliness is to a high quality.

Negative experience: Pretty average gym, and quite expensive for what you get. Small, not a lot of resistance machines. Not very busy which makes up for it. Parking is a big issue.

Positive experience: Small gym, but never seems particularly busy. Parking can be an issue in peak time but there's plenty of space a short walk away. Nice atmosphere, no real "gym bros"

Fantastic experience: This is a perfect little gym for anyone that wants to get in shape and not feel like they are being watched or judged. I normally go in the night as I like it to be empty so I can focus on my work out. But the times I have been during the day everyone has been friendly and courteous. The staff all seem brilliant and I can't fault the facilities always clean and always stocked. The showers are brilliant and have a wide range of settings so you can have it as hot or as cold as you like. If you are looking at joining a gym Anytime fitness is a great place to go. Its not a spa tho so there isn't a pool or a sauna.

Negative experience: It’s in a relatively good (arguably) location in Wokingham town centre. If you need to drive and want to park outside then it’s a bit of a lottery hoping for spaces. The gym itself is relatively well stocked considering its size (it’s small). Unfortunately it is very aggressively marketed and the contract terms weren’t made clear verbally - ended up moving house after a couple of months and being stuck with an expensive monthly contract that they refuse to cancel until the term ends. Not happy!

Positive experience: Great gym at a great price! Very friendly owners and well run. Never too busy, but could do with one or two additional machines (Lying leg curl machine!)

Negative experience: No parking. Small gym, not enough equipment, aggressively marketed so in no time it will be overcrowded.

Positive experience: Nice gym. Not very wheelchair accessible and it's quite small but the chain is very good. Parking is also very annoying

Negative experience: Cancelled my membership in writing and they continued taking payments for another 2 months. They claimed to have never received the letter and continued adding more fees! Avoid this gym.

Fantastic experience: I joined this gym a few months having been a member at Pulse 8 for years. My reasons for wanting to join, the pro's 1. It's closer to home, 2. It's quite a bit cheaper than Pulse 8, 3. It's open 24 hours so can get in there slightly earlier than 6am if I want to and don't have to rush to finish up by 22:30 or earlier on a Sunday. Initially I had a few concerns 1. The parking situation but the times I tend to go (very early morning or late evening) I'm either lucky enough to get parked right outside or the first car park off Easthampstead Road, opposite the fire station is only 2 minutes walk. If you're going between 8am and 6pm you'll have to pay a small parking fee or you can park for free at the end of Norrey's and walk up. 2. The size of the gym and amount of equipment. So far this hasn't been an issue at all. The most amount of people I've seen in there at one time is 7. I've never had to wait for equipment and I can do pretty much every exercise I wanted to with the equipment available. Thinks I like about the gym are that the staff are friendly, they take care of the equipment and the gym is always tidy, weights put back neatly and in order and the showers rooms are private and clean. My only concern would be the amount of lockers available as the memberships increase and there are more people in the gym at a time. But I would definitely recommend this gym to people in the Wokingham area.
