Anytime Fitness Weston-super-Mare

Fantastic experience: Been at this gym for ages now, staff are fab and always down for a chat which I love ✨ good vibes too, never a time I’ve felt uncomfortable, unconditional support from staff and members alike !

Negative experience: Staff seem nice people. Gym has 2 working treadmills and no working rower for months. Usually on mondays & wednesdays juice freak walks around shirt-less and thats somehow allowed even tho im sure others find it intimdating. Far to hot in summer and seems to be no air con unless thats broken to. Is a clean gym i will say that.

Negative experience: Please, don't pick, don't choose this fitness gym never. At least not Anytime fitness from Weston super mare. STAY AWAY or you will regret. 2 days ago, i was then at work and i received one email from this gym, and i read that email in my break time. And they told me, they notify me, my membership was terminated due my inappropriate behaviour in the gym. So i call them back, and i ask, how? And one girl from reception, her name is Beth, said, they received few complains about me, and i ask, how? Because i didin't touch nobody with one finger, i didin't insult nobody and i wasn't NEVER in 8 month in conflict with nobody. And they banned me, on 18 June and that they took money from my bank account for all month until 30 june and even i wasn't refound with my money back. Is the first time, in my life when i pass this kind of situation in gym. And i training in previous years in many gyms and everytime can i come back without problems. Anothers minus, negative things are: Small and dirty gym, equipaments busy all the time after 14:00 PM., they don't open the conditioning air, to hot in the gym in this kind of months: June, July. So please take my feedback as WARNING or you will regret for sure!

Negative experience: Small gym, packed with people, steroid freak changing right in the middle of the gym and working out with no shirt on gross.

Positive experience: The gym equipment is good, the only thing I see is that it is a little dirty.

Fantastic experience: If you visit the first time you might think "oh this is small" that's only because of the amount of equipment they have, they have an upstairs area for classes and stretching if no classes are on, punching bag and some extra bikes. For myself, the gym is great for the free weights and diversity. It's also not busy most times.

Negative experience: I want to write this review to warn everyone else! I came to this gym with a friend for the first time in March. We wanted to buy a month pass because we didn't have a chance to visit it next month! The employee explained to us that at the end of the month, just warn that you will not visit and the payment at the beginning of the month will not be removed! We did so! But the payment was withdrawn. We came again and were told that they cannot close the subscription, because we have to pay for another month, that's their policy. We said ok, but we are closing the subscription so that we don't withdraw funds from the card anymore. After this conversation, they took money from the card three more times! In total, we paid for 4 months instead of one! We are very outraged! Today I spoke again with the administrator, showed them the message that they sent me about closing the subscription 3 months ago! He said that he can't do anything, but the funds will not be withdrawn in the next month! I have already heard it many times and there is no trust! I hope it will be true!

Negative experience: Do not give this company your phone number or email unless you want relentless spam messages. Each time I block their number I get messages from a new phone number.

Negative experience: Very nice place with friendly staff but toilets needs lots of work.

Fantastic experience: Anytime is a great place to train with good staff willing to help out members in need! The staff are friendly and make you feel welcomed when you enter the gym. Good variety of equipment to target all aspects of training.

Negative experience: I'm very disappointed with this place. I had a few things go wrong circumstances wise and told them a date I would be able to pay on that day they demanded and extra £15 quid late payment after them agreeing they would wait until the day I could make payment. They then continued to continuesly harass me after I told them to cancel my membership as I felt like they was trying to rip me off and take advantage of my situation. They now are demending £107 for a gym I haven't been to in two months after I cancelled my membership. These are clearly rip off merchants

Fantastic experience: Much like any other gym you might attend, except this has the added benefit of allowing you to harness your inner social anxiety and attend when it is totally dead. Unless of course the roof blows off in the largest storm of the year...

Fantastic experience: Brilliant Gym, well maintained equipment (I have never not been able to use anything whilst working out due to maintenance / out of service), high standard of cleanliness and a brilliant variety of attachments and equipment (love the mag style lat pulldown / row attachments). The hydro massage chair is epic. The best part about being a member in my opinion is the family feeling that is a result of top quality staff and members. I'm always welcomed with a smile and a chat if Im free to talk, and at the same time if I am in a rush that day I am never interrupted and can rush in and rush out and still get the friendly conversation with staff next visit. Can't compliment this place enough. For the price it is ultimate value, I have been members of various gyms in different areas to compare. Best decision I made was to switch to anytime due to it being open 24/7 (even on Christmas etc) and all of the things above. I normally find something to constructively critisise in reviews but I really can't. Nailed it guys. Easy 5 stars.

Fantastic experience: It is a really nice atmosphere with many options and showers, changed rooms, massage room and the staff are so helpful , kind friendly. It has a lovely view to the sea and the other side to the mountains. All the machines seem to be really new and you could connect head phones and watch Netflix, TV , You tube or what ever you want. Very good quality.

Positive experience: The place is alot cleaner but it's still very functional as a gym with little atmosphere. The staff still occasionally like to play aggressive screamo and heavy metal which makes noise cancelling headphones essential if you aren't into that genre of music.

Negative experience: Really disappointed in this gym. This is my second year of signing up with a new contract and staff were all really friendly wanting to take my money but come hardships due to lockdown they don’t want to hear any of it and only care about taking more and more money. Despite not providing the service of the gyms they still want to take money from members and do not understand customer care at the slightest. No sense of community, no sense of customer care or satisfaction. Anyone who asks me about this gym I will say STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS.

Fantastic experience: The gym itself is quite good. Only downsides - no actual bench press so you have to constantly use the power racks/cages or the smith machine. Other negative is the lack of free parking.

Fantastic experience: Its bit pricy but is expected being in town centre and 24 hours. Its a smallish gym but not heaving with people so you always have machines available to use. Gym and bathrooms are quite clean and staff is polite and engaging.

Positive experience: Rejoined Anytime. See other reviews. I've been using the hotel Gym, whilst working away. I thought whilst back in Britain I'll keep it up. So I rejoined. I only got chance to go once, as we went on a short holiday. Sidmouth. The rest of the time I was drunk. So my new fitness regime went out the window. Anyhoo!. Staff very nice, helpful. The equipment is "Amaizen". As a Bristol friend says. Very futuristic, . All the equipment you'll ever need to get your, lazy carcass fit!. So I'll be going back in there, when I return again. After a few drinks!.

Positive experience: It's a decent enough gym, clean and well maintained.

Negative experience: Average gym. Not very big and not a lot of space to move around in, especially if the gym is busy. Staff are friendly enough but if you’re looking for a gym to train in during peak times then I would definitely give this place a miss as it’ll be a massive struggle even compared to other gyms in the area.

Fantastic experience: Tidy and cleaned. Very good gym quiet and calm.

Negative experience: Good gym. Shocking service. Have had nothing but problems since signing the dotted line. Debt collector threats etc, even though I have stuck to the contract & complied with everything. The gym will not enable me to cancel subscription - now 4 months over the time period. If you join this gym, be prepared to be paying your monthly subscription for life, even when you relocate to a different country like myself, which is a viable reason for cancelling the contract. Shocking service.

Fantastic experience: As the newest gym in Weston I felt I would give it a try when they opened in Feburary. Since then I have attempted the gym and enjoyed myself every visit. They've got good quality equipment as it's all new, staff are happy to guide and help. More importantly if your not confident in something ask one of the more experienced people in the gym. I've never met someone who would decline helping another person, which really sets Anytime above all other gyms in Weston. Strongly suggest that you use this gym if your new and want to learn without feeling judgement.
