Fantastic experience: I had to go today for an eye test and decided after to go and grab something to eat from the cafe, the lady behind the counter Bronagh although really busy was warm friendly and nothing was too much trouble and in fairness the paninis and sandwich we got were really well filled and delicious and truthfully not a ridiculous price , will definately use again

Fantastic experience: Great gym. A wide range of resistance machines, along with lots of cardio machines and plenty of free weights to go around. It never seems to be too busy either.

Negative experience: Iv been swimming here for 3 years and it just gets worse in terms of hygiene!! I have sent in a complaint to Better gym and nothing happened. I spoke to the management and they tired to completely ignore my issue and even walked away while i was talking to them mumbling to themselves in order not to hear me. REALLY NEEDS SOMETHING DONE!! because it’s a MAJOR HAZARD to health and safety!!!

Fantastic experience: Went to this place for physiotherapy, due to unexpected injury. And what a change, as I remember it from the 70's. And 80's, and 90's, and such a transformation. Haven't used the main sports facilities. But it has a pharmacy, health experts and other departments.

Negative experience: Friendly staff, that's not the problem. I guess it's up to management. I can swim and I have simply tried to keep swimming, but it's virtually impossible to do so, unless there was an option to hire a lane for 1 person for an hour. It's shocking how sometimes you end up sharing a single lane with 3, 4 or even 5 people. It's impossible to swim for an hour... I don't think it's asking too much.

Negative experience: We sign up for baby swimming classes and we were going for few months, for £27 well you get how much you paid. On the end you end up entertaining your child... However, when we decided to change and cancelled further classes here, because of uniformed staff we still got charged for next month! Apparently there is notice period and their staff haven't pass the information to us non when we booked on first place or when we went to cancel. The lady response was only YES OF COURSE and now they are refusing to refund us! It's not about £27!!! It's about principle you can't do that and expect your customers to be back or share well recommendations about your company services! So disappointed...

Negative experience: Good there is a library in the area, quite small but comfortable reading area as long as it doesn't get busy. The Swimming pool is a joke. Far too small and no way ever as good as the old Grove swimming pools, Sauna and sports Hall that are so badly missed. Overall the building is far too small, is asked to cover too many facilities and does everything badly. The only Star awarded is for library service.

Negative experience: I have been swimming in this place years ago and it was lovely and clean. There always was any domestic staff. Last years this place changed completely. The same dirt in the same places for months, the same hair and lately even poo on the floor. Sadly I must say-disgusting. Staff (swiming teachers and others) is lovely and friendly but this is not they responsibility (I guess) to keep this place clean. No cleaning staff any more in Grove. January 2023 Glad to say that cleaning really improved since my last post

Positive experience: Daughters 4th birthday party. We had use of the jungle gym for 1 hour and a room upstairs for 1 hour. Jungle gym wasn't the cleanest. Kid's found bundles of dust and hair inside. The upstairs room was big and clean but unfortunately with no air conditioning and with the heat of the pool coming up, no windows to be opened and having small kids with us we couldn't keep the doors open, air conditioning was definitely needed. Its great to have the rooms just for our party but needs a few things changed.

Fantastic experience: I gave 5 stars because the staff go above and beyond to ensure everyone has a good experience. I have some mobility issues and the guys on the pool don't make a fuss but they watch over me and ask am I OK and if I need assistance. The girls on reception are just lovely. It is the small things that turn a scarey experience into 'I'm coming back again' The pool is a little cool when you get in but you warm within seconds. There's a good big clock to keep an eye on the time. The water in the shower is warm and so good. There are hairdryers that are free to use. Also you'll need a £1 coin for the locker which you'll get back.

Positive experience: It was easy to find and parking up especially the disabled parking at the front door what I didn't like was nearly getting hit by a van who sped up on the footpath between the disabled parking and the main doors only I was paying attention or I would have been hit

Fantastic experience: It's a great centre Great pool There are lockers available for a pound but it's returned when your finished with the locker Also free hair dryer s This may not seem much but Which is handy if you have a couple of children with you The staff are very knowledgeable and helpful There is also Sauna and steam room Although due to Covid they are not currently available I think it's great value for money And even more so if you take out the membership

Positive experience: The centre is excellent but the fitness suite needs a more personable and friendly instructor. The permanent guy is very selective to who he is welcoming to. A very unprofessional and petty approach. His attitude would tend to put me off attending the gym.

Positive experience: My wife had an appointment here, she thought it was very clean, and the staff couldn't do enough to help and put her at ease.

Negative experience: Have asked this question of centre managers on several occasions without an answer. Why can a private GLL leisure complex in Belfast City Centre advertise '1 membership 14 locations'. Yet the membership fee for this private GLL gym is far cheaper than Belfast City Council gyms?
