Fitness Evolution Burnley (Gym, Fitness Evolution, Personal Training, Sports Centre)

Fantastic experience: Gym, CrossFit centre, football pitches, a good quality spa area and a variety of programmes and classes. Can be a bit hectic at times, but the staff are great, friendly and always willing to help.

Fantastic experience: I do kickboxing in the sports hall and studio, the facilities and staff are all first class

Positive experience: Review purely based on gym facility, nothing else. Wanted to try a different gym and was disappointed in the lack of equipment. Some really nice plate loaded machines but the lack of some basic ones means I won't be returning.

Fantastic experience: I go to a kickboxing class here. Great space to rent, plenty of room, decent temperature in the cold months. Just could do with putting a sign on the front doors saying to use the other door to enter, saves people looking like a muppet then following others inside

Positive experience: Paying a lot for the climbing wall for a 2 hr stint.plus losing time dropping safety mats and moving materials left in the climbing safety zones. Attendance has dropped of considerably due to these factors.

Fantastic experience: Lots of different classes available. All varied and suitable for any level of fitness. Coaches are welcoming and encouraging and other gym members are friendly and supportive of each other.

Fantastic experience: Booked in for cryotherapy session. Booked a block booking of ten sessions as they were offering a special offer at the time. Been a few times for cryotherapy now and mentally it works wonders. Also gives me some pain relief from the neurological muscle condition l suffer from. Combined with massage therapy it should definitely help me on my road to recovery.

Fantastic experience: Really enjoying my journey back into fitness at Fitness Evolution. Friendly trainers always ready to support and encourage and a good range of equipment. Also had treatments at the spa and can recommend (especially the reflexology!)

Negative experience: Would not recommend this place to anyone. Yes the spa looks great and the staff are friendly but that’s about it. Things not working in the spa for weeks and being told “someone’s coming next week” and when they do fix something, something else breaks this has been happening for over 6 months. Shuts randomly and the only notification they used to give was over Facebook which I don’t have. Just terrible all round, would not recommend.

Negative experience: Bad Facility with barely any equipment - poor staff communication, i had to follow up emails so many times to get a response

Negative experience: Firstly, the 3g Pitch is an amazing facility, the receptionists are also fantastic and polite. The security are liars as they made 2/3 claims about us without backing up their claim despite having surveillance. Overall, the facility is fantastic and reasonably priced, 99% of the staff are polite and respectful. Just watch out for the security to make false claims to get you banned for no reason. If you make a claim back it up with evidence otherwise your lying and slandering.

Fantastic experience: Loved the Chapel beautiful old building, loved the history, well worth the visit, lovely cream tea afterwards too, good price.

Fantastic experience: Great place to play outdoor football. The pitches are absolute quality and great size. I have played 7 a side football here and loved it a lot. The booking process is simple and easy and efficient. The staff are very friendly and super hardworking. Perfect place to play outdoor football. Would definitely recommend 10/10

Negative experience: Terrible customer service. Had signed up and got the first month free. A week later I had to leave the gym due to extenuating circumstances (change of job) and not living in Burnley. Was told by the desk staff this was fine as was in the terms and conditions and to email. Put through my direct debit after me letting them know and made me pay for an extra month even though I only went to the gym twice. Absolutely disgusting.
