Negative experience: Eish. I only walked past. Was going too Tesco to shop

Negative experience: Okay gym but ridiculous policy on charging you an extra month if you cancel, and you have to email them for the form to do so. Other gyms don't do this !

Negative experience: overcrowded gym that has too many members for its size, joined so I could train in the evenings after work but way too many 'members' there are no staff on duty in the evening to check if the people attending are actually members. Near impossible to work out due to the amount of people hanging around, posing in mirrors but rarely actually using the equipment just using it as a place to hang out with there mates in the evening. cancelled my membership after 1 month. If you want a gym to TRAIN in go somewhere else

Positive experience: Very friendly staff and so much variety.

Negative experience: It works but it is expensive for what you get. The gym is small and cramped, yet gets very busy. I also really question the logic in having one bench press despite it being so in demand. Actual lines waiting for it.

Positive experience: Decent gym. Lots of complaining in the reviews here about cleanliness, size, and lack of capacity during peak hours. All of this is partially true- the toilets certainly could be cleaner and the gym fills up in the evening- but I've never had to abandon a workout due to this. The real queues take place waiting for the squat racks/deadlifting spots and the bench press. 40 a month is semi expensive but in line with other locations.

Positive experience: It’s an okay gym. Very small for the price. I mean it is roughly around £40 a month for a very small space, with limited machines. However there are no other 24hr gyms in Lancaster so it has to do… staff is friendly, no complaints there. The only issue is the size of it and the machines available, and the price as a result of this.

Negative experience: Shocking. Firstly they decide what you can and can't train in. I got kicked out for wearing jeans. The Women can wear next to nothing which is fine however. I also had to pay for a month cooling off which I think is criminal. I do understand this is common among gyms and training facilities but this should not be common practise.

Negative experience: I am ending my contract due to health and other reasons. the temperature in the gym is less than 18 degrees, although according to health regulations the temperature in the gym should be at least 21 degrees Celsius. I get sick often. I constantly had a cold in my neck and the last few times I had a fever. Because I sweat and do active exercises, colds appear the next day. there is no place where you can exercise without air conditioning. very dirty toilets, everything is constantly wet and very dirty. There aren’t even benches where you can sit down to change your shoes, and the toilet stall often doesn’t have a lid. The unsanitary conditions are terrible. the mats are all dirty, the boxing gloves stink of sweat. Often there is no person at the reception when any questions arise. this is the most important thing in my opinion.The security in this hall is questionable, I was robbed of £200 in it. the manager tried to help, but everything was to no avail and without compensation. So take care of your things! especially money or keys.Still a terrible cancellation procedure, I don’t understand why I have to pay for another month if I don’t go to this gym anymore. I do not recommend signing a membership with this gym

Positive experience: Price does not match quality and quantity of equipment. Gym is far too small, making it very inconvenient if you want to workout during the day or peak hours as you'll just be waiting for equipment most of the time. No sauna either. 3 stars for being open 24/7.

Fantastic experience: A fairly spacious gym. They probably have all the machines that you need. There is a small area for stretching and calisthenics-like workout. Threadmills, cycles, stairmaster, changing area, toilets and showers. They have lockers, and they are quite spacious, I was able to fit in a jacket, lather shoes and a large backpack. You need your own padlock for these lockers, alternatively you can buy padlock at the gym for £4.99. When you join the gym, you get a member card, you can use that card to enter the gym 24/7, even when the staff is not available, this is great if you like to work out at unconventional times, e.g. at night.

Fantastic experience: Good gym, good price (always good not being locked into long term contracts!). Not the biggest gym but got pretty much everything you need. All the staff are also very nice. Would recommend !

Negative experience: It has improved since they refurbished this year. More new equipment and weight racks have made exercising easier. However, the gym is absolutely rammed at times and there’s no space to do cardio, free weights or machines. In addition, sometimes, it sticks! The toilets are in horrendous condition, so filthy. I avoid going to the toilet there. Too many students at the time also is not the best. I am changing gym now because even though convenient, the atmosphere does not contribute to having a nice workout. I feel I can pay a little bit more for a far better experience

Fantastic experience: Nice and well equipped gym. Friendly staff and nice shower rooms too. Can be uncomfortable at peak hours if you don't like a full gym but the fact that it is a 24 hour facility nicely compensates.

Fantastic experience: Very nice clean and hygienic place for workouts friendly atmosphere.Main thing for people like me who are on shift duties its 24 hrs open access which suits me I can go anytime.Staff is superb and helpful the gym members are quiet friendly as well…. You have to visit it to believe it

Positive experience: A hack squat machine would be so great to have for the future so there are more options for hypertrophy and isolated training other than that a good range of equipment and nice staff especially good if your new and nervous , helped a lot with advice

Fantastic experience: From the outside it looks small and limited but since joining the gym was surprisingly big with lots of great equipment. The gym is very clean and tidy and was greeted by who I know know is the gym manager who was very friendly and enthusiastic with his attitude. I asked about blue light discount and found out that they do do discounted membership for the blue light discount. Went through a quick gym induction and was given my access card and that was that.

Negative experience: All in all I think that this gym is too small and offers too little for the price that is charged. £36 for very little, there seems to easily be 50+ people in the peak sessions, so to only have 3 benches isn't good enough. Also, I would expect to see the fact that you can't park reflected in the price. There are also currently only 2 cross training machines in use, one of which is constantly out of order, leaving only the one machine. The showers are awful, they also seem to smell of sewage and there is no ability to control temperature so it is always boiling! I am sure that this is nice in the winter, but at the moment it is easily 20degrees in the gym, so the last thing you want after a session is a boiling shower. I will say that the staff always seem nice and welcoming. There are also more than enough 'covid stations' to allow people to clean the equipment before/after use. I just think that £36 for the described experience is too much.

Negative experience: Do not recommend. They did not process my membership cancellation when I went into the gym to cancel with a member of staff (which he assured me he did) and then charged me an additional 2 months. Very small gym too.

Negative experience: I do not recommend this gym. The cancellation conditions are ridiculous, they for some reason require 30 days written notice in order to leave which I don't understand at all, I was not notified about the gym reopening after COVID and as a result was charged two months extra membership fee, which is overly priced as it is! It is really difficult to get into contact with this gym as the phone is rarely picked up, it is tiny with little floor space (zero when a class is in session) and always crowded and busy with no lockers free unless you attend at an awkward time.

Fantastic experience: Been a member for nearly 9 months and haven't found a fault or anything to dislike. Biggest benefit : 24-7 access nationwide, Olympic lifting rack , range of free weights and machine, cardio equipments. Highly recommended.

Positive experience: The floor space of the gym isn't the biggest but the design team and staff have packed everything in! Plenty of dumbbells and a while host of machines, two squat racks and deadlifting platforms as well as a good range of cardio equipment. My only complaint would be that it's too busy, making it hard to go in and train hard, especially for those of us who work during the day and can only go in in the evenings. Perhaps a tiered membership scheme would improve things - peak membership to cost slightly more? Other than that, friendly staff, always clean, great central location.

Fantastic experience: For the size of the gym it's actually really well equipped, large amount of locker space to choose from and three large walk in showers (separate to toilets) really make a nice addition. Being 24/7 means you can always find a time to have a near empty gym too

Positive experience: Well equipped, nice staff. However, a bit small and the lockers are not enough of the gym is full. I like that it is 24/7 and I do like the classes there, so efficient! The thing I really don't like about it is the payment method, you have to join on the 1st of the month because payments are taken automatically from your account on the 1st of Avery month and if you need to stop your membership for a while,that while has to be no less than a month and 3£ will be taken from your account for each one.

Negative experience: The facilities are ok, though the toilets and showers sometimes are in terrible condition. And the contract is somewhat unreasonable, you can join at anytime you want, they charge you only a small amount if it is not the beginning of the month. But if you decided to stop the membership, they require you to give a 30 days notice(I do not understand why on earth should there be need for such a thing), which often ends up with you paying one month more. In my case, I joined the membership on 27th of October 2017, they charged me 5 pounds for the remaining 4 days in October. After I realized that I will not be in Lancaster by the end of April 2018 on the 3rd of April, I give them a notice on exactly the same day, and they told me that I need to pay for the membership until the end of May. What is more, you have to pay for the membership card additionally (15 pounds), and it is not refundable. I do not recommend this gym.

Fantastic experience: Plenty of equipment for every muscle group and also its 24/7

Negative experience: I recommend you don't use this gym, due to their shady membership terms and conditions. It is ungodly expensive and they require a cancellation notice of a while month, without giving much back to their customers (doeasn't even provide wi-fi). Other than that, the equipment is alright and the gym is 24/7 but that's the only decent thing about it. I suggest trying out the sport centre on campus as it provides an overall better experience.

Fantastic experience: Spacious, clean, well equipped gym. Much bigger on the inside than you might expect. All the kit is modern and in good working order. There's a studio which is cool and airy but maybe a little on the small side. Lack of staffing outside normal working hours rarely results in problems, although the place can get in a real mess after the evening crowd, with equipment lying around all over the place first thing in the morning. The fact that this place is open 24/7 is it's main strength. It's even open on Christmas day.

Negative experience: Fantastic place, however they have people from the upstairs offices smoking right outside the gym hall door and it makes it unbearable to do yoga inside the hall, not so bad if you are just in the main area. I complained about it, if it doesnt get resolved will have to cancel my membership unfortunately
