Negative experience: The gym is actually decent sized can get a bit overcrowded at peak times but does the job. Unfortunately, that’s where all good things end with this place. Sanitation is abysmal - the state of the toilets reeks of a repugnant smell. Clear leak and contamination. There is also a foul smell upon entry into the changing rooms and when trying to use the toilets you have to tip toe to ensure you don’t step in a puddle near the sink. It’s just unsatisfactory. People pay money month in month out and come to work out and use the facilities. It now clear as day that the gym is dilapidated.

Positive experience: How this place has 4.2 stars I don’t know. You’ll have to play find the weight, I’ve never seen staff going around to tidy them up as they just sit by the entrance. People don’t rack their weights back and the equipment is ether breaking or lacking, especially cables.

Negative experience: Genuinely one of the worst pure gyms I’ve visited across the country. 180 members at peak times and yet only 8 working benches and 4 cable machines. Members don’t wait, but queue for equipment. It’s a shame as the building has potential but clearly mis managed. Consistently over crowded, gym members and trainers have no etiquette - want a dumbbell? Good luck checking around the whole gym, nothing gets re racked.

Negative experience: Horrible customer service. I went for a review waited 25min at the gate no one on the reception no one can help and no one knows the prices , the staff afraid to call the manager , basically no manager or staff only one . The lighting makes you feel you are in a hospital. I will never be in such place with zero management skills or customer service or respect . The worst in my life .

Fantastic experience: The best gym in London, good equipment. Ladies space for exercises.

Positive experience: Huge gym . Excellent facilities . My biggest gripe is the gym has many hand sanitizer dispensers and they are constantly empty . Seems like they’re never refilled . Drinks in the fridge also aren’t very cold . Aside from that staff are friendly and gym is clean .

Positive experience: it's a well sized gym, however there are things I don't like such as how busy it is often takes a while to get the machine you want unless you go at an absurd time. also machines which are out of order take ages to be repaired, on top of this the gym is a complete mess with no one putting weights back, some weight pins go missing, and dumbbells are scattered across the whole gym (don't get me wrong this is mostly the people gym goer's fault but it should be enforced that you rerack weights)

Positive experience: Been coming to this gym for almost a decade and seen many lovely staff pass through. This gym had 5 stars until today. I never had a bad interaction with any staff member in many years I have been a member but unfortunately this member of staff has forced me to write this negative review about a place I love very much as she makes it very unpleasant. Karis (assistant manager) on multiple occasions has shouted and spoke down to people in the gym and it is horrible that someone can treat members like that in front of others and embarrass them. One of the gym rules are no anti social behaviour but she may be the most unapproachable person ever. Karis never smiles, only have I ever seen her give dirty stares and seems to have a problem with everyone. Speaking to other members of staff, they also share the same opinion about her and seeing that she is an assistant manager is worrying. I worry for Karis as it only a matter of time before she treats the wrong person the way she does and for them to react. Puregym and management, please provide her the appropriate training. The gym staff are meant to elevate and uplift people, not make them feel uncomfortable. I love this gym and I do not want to leave after almost a decade because of one person. I hope something gets done. Thank you.

Positive experience: One of the better PureGyms for sure. Could do with like an Incline press and extra plates as I was lookingaround for ages. However, there's plenty of space and it's a nice vibe. Yanga water was filled up which is better than most gyms. Just think with all that space, could get a few more equipment pieces downstairs. Also, extra EZ bar would be nice as both were being used and don't think I saw a hack squat. I like the idea of a female only area though, that is a nice thoughtful touch that more gyms should adopt

Negative experience: (16.03.2024 - 9.40pm ) I just came back from the gym and today it was very bad because there was no staff and a lot of young guys around 15 years old (there were about 15 of them) unlocked the front door and entered in groups. It started to get dangerous, they smoked marijuana inside, entered the men's and women's locker rooms and tried to break the padlocks and rob the lockers. I don't know if anyone was robbed. No one from the staff asked them to leave the gym. If it continues like this, I will be forced to give up this place and move to another gym where it will be safer. Please react to my information.

Fantastic experience: Nice place to be when wantong to train alongside a good atmosphere.

Negative experience: GIRLS BEWARE! I was at this gym for 4 years and it was fantastic until management changed. You would think that a gym with a female only section is big on women feeling safe in the gym but unfortunately not. I was harassed and threatened by a 50+ year old man in the gym. It was investigated and I was informed that he was ‘banned’ from the gym. A year later he returned to the gym and when I reported this I was told that he was never in fact banned. I had been lied to and made to feel that the gym had taken appropriate action to ensure my safety whereas they had not in fact done anything. They did not address the fact that they lied or offer any resolution but instead allowed this man to keep coming to the gym. All because he is the managers friend, and a female manager no less. Many girls have left this gym before because of the amount of older men making inappropriate comments or advances towards them and the gym doing absolutely nothing when reports are made. Shockingly disappointing.

Fantastic experience: Really good gym,lots of equipment,more frindly public than other places. BUT the rule says no bags in the gym or on the floor and there are plenty of them. Stuff doesn’t even care about it. But a nice gym tho

Positive experience: Nice, quite big it has a women section. Be aware I have experienced people that have had their belongings stolen as they did not secure it properly but aside from that it’s good.

Negative experience: Poor service , if any machine gets faulty, takes ages to be fixed. The shower facilities are out of order for more than 6 weeks ! Continously the toilets get blocked and take them weeks to fix it

Negative experience: Changing rooms smell so bad! Dumbbells all out of order, apart from that pretty solid offering

Positive experience: Lovely gym and staff, and environment but gets a little frustrating sometimes with the out of order machines which takes a long time to repair them.

Negative experience: Sundays used to be a good day to come to the gym. Groups of two upwards block others from using the equipments this is in the women's gym and the main gym. It's frustrating when trying to complete a circuit. It would be nice if others could share the equipment.

Negative experience: Good Sized gym, Zero olympic weight plates on the gym floor. Female members take them into the female area and don't return them

Fantastic experience: One of the best pure gyms in London. Very well organized and laid out. The staff and trainers are extremely friendly, The vending machines are always stocked and when a piece of equipment goes down it's usually fixed within a day or so. This is a beautifully maintained gym with a staff that obviously cares. The gym itself is in a great location with lots of free parking. Two floors of equipment with a great utilization of space and variation of kit. You can't go wrong visiting this gym. It's a great one.

Negative experience: Never seen a gym like it for people not putting kit away once they are finished with it, needs policing really by someone as dumbbells, barbells, plates are left absolutely everywhere.

Positive experience: Huge branch of pure gym, kind of overcrowd, you literally have to wait to secure a place on a bench. Otherwise good

Fantastic experience: Great classes, with good variety of sessions per day. The upstairs studio is a great space for classes and the functional area is well equipped for personal use or sweat classes. Lovely management team and helpful staff!

Positive experience: They have messed up the roads… to get to the gym!!!! So annoying!!!!

Negative experience: One smith machine broke for 2 months I come at 1am still people trying to get on the only one that works it’s a joke will be changing to the gym group much more reliable

Positive experience: No one gives a damn about this gym maintenance, machines are broken for months, smith machine, chest machine, lower back extension, back machine, you name it, we are already struggling with less equipped machines. TBH I’m having thoughts to move somewhere else. Thank you puregym for looking after us.

Positive experience: I like it because it's big. But extremely overcrowded at times and if you want a quick workout it's very hard to do so.

Negative experience: Someone broke into locker and stole my EarPods, left message for manager… no reply, try contacting customer service, AI operated, Customer service facilities are pretty much useless. This year there has been 2 increases in the price, no air conditioning in the spin room, air conditioning upstairs not up to standard, when i joined there was 5 rowing machines, now 2 functional, while another has a foot strap missing. There seems to always be a couple of machines broken weeks on end. Going downhill fast 2 stars because instructors are good.

Fantastic experience: Great 24hour Gym. Has all the equipment you would need .

Positive experience: Great gym with lots of space and facilities. The community can be quite unfriendly at times and it's a bit smelly in the main gym area. Sometimes music is quite loud especially in the Women's gym where the space is more restricted. Otherwise happy here.

Fantastic experience: 5 stars because: 1. They have a women’s only gym area. 2. Clean and spacious facilities. 3. Helpful staff. 4. It’s open 24 hours. 5. Membership fees are super affordable.

Positive experience: I love this gym, it’s big enough and I really like the classes and trainers. Great quality. There’s also lots of free parking. During peek season it does get busy with classes and what really should be sorted in the female toilet / hand wash area is the smell!

Negative experience: You get a prize if you find a pair of dumbells on the rack .

Positive experience: Place really needs more benches. It's a pisstake how they're all in use even when it's a quiet period. Could fit another 4/5 benches in the space easily.

Positive experience: You won't get such a large training environment for that price anywhere in London BUT there are issues: 1. If you rely on weight machines to train, there are lots of sub-par devices around. That's expected, I guess since you're not paying for Virgin Active and you won't get the best machines, either. Free weights and dumbbells are absolutely fine. 2. Circuit classes are held in the main public training area and a tiny minority of the circuit instructors are extremely inconsiderate to the rest of the folks using the facility: using inspirational methods that were eradicated even from the most backwards organisations (like US military) almost half a century ago (constant shouting at participants) they abuse the microphone to a level that makes training for non-participants almost impossible. One of them uses an extremely loud music that can only be suitable for a Zumba class (even during the cool-down!) and won't even turn it off after the class is over. Imagine having a limited time to do your gym session during lunchtime and trying to focus on your own activities during weight training when someone insists on doing all the countdowns on the public speaker set to a high volume for 45 minutes starting from 10, 9, 8, 7, .... My advice: spend some time to identify the instructor, find the rota for that loud class and try to have your gym session when that circuit class isn't running! It sounds unfair but not when you consider the cost of gym membership for Park Royal branch.

Fantastic experience: My local gym has good parking facilities and its very big although gets to busy during peak times

Positive experience: Good gym, but they could rise the standards. Many of us happy to pay more, to see a cleaner gym with updated equipment. Two bar benches aren’t enough. Space management can be improved. I hope PureGym will invest in this branch. Until then will need to look elsewhere for now.

Negative experience: This gum has deteriorated rapidly. The toilets are filthy, everything is falling apart. The Aircon system is knackered and hardly works anymore, more and more equipment is now out of use due to poor maintenance.

Fantastic experience: Good range of equipment , excellent helpful staff and the it’s just convenient

Positive experience: Not enough barbells and the ones the gym does have are very poor quality and not standard diameter. There is one decent bar (belfast bar) which people literally queue to use. It is a very simple change to buy in competition standard (powerlifting, weightlifting and CrossFit) diameter bars, other pure gyms I have trained at provide good quality barbells. This will improve the workout experience at Park Royal pure gym.

Negative experience: It is my closest gym. Nothing special, I am generally coming in the evening hours, so it is not overcrowded. The only issue that I am constantly facing is the very, very poor quality of the facilities. I have never found the gym in good condition (including the toilet). The toilets are disgusting and smell of urine. I understand it is a low-cost gym; however, the management should consider increasing the budget for cleaning stuff and paying attention. It is not healthy to exercise in the dust.

Fantastic experience: Recently started going back to the gym. Facilities are good and they have sanitisers and cleaning stations for users to wipe down equipment before and after use.

Fantastic experience: I really like PureGym Park Royal, it's spacious, with one of the largest areas of women I've ever seen. My only observation is that there is no Hack Machine, if you compare between PureGym Wembley and PureGym Northold, and the maintenance of the machines is not so good, when it breaks it goes months and months without fixing. However, I will give 5 stars for the size, ease of parking and location.

Fantastic experience: Northolt branch looks much better after the refurbishment. Some more machines, more lockers will make it 10/10

Negative experience: Way, WAY too busy. Tried multiple times throughout the day. Cancelled my membership after 2 weeks.

Fantastic experience: Just joined this gym and I love it. So much equipment and very relaxed atmosphere.

Positive experience: Great gym, but could do with some upgrades and repairs to machines and their attachments. Also, it’s such a shame that there is always free weights scattered everywhere and not in their racks in the separate rooms, the gym floor. The staff could help by telling members to put their weights back or if they don’t see them, use their free time to put them back instead of walking around on their phones

Positive experience: BIG clean space, lots of free weights. Unfortunately each time I’ve been members are less considerate at returning weights.

Fantastic experience: Great Gym. Membership price is Okay would be better if a little cheaper. But as a member great benefits such as classess and 24hr Access. Downside is probably customer Service. There is no Phone line to get to them only a 24hr Social Media chat, which can take several hours for a reply. Also Lift,and equipment seems to take a long time to get fixed when broken But superb exprience in my recent last 2 mths. I Would reccomend to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Excellent gym in terms of facilities. Really happy with my progress and the people are great

Positive experience: Gym's infrastructure is well kept. During these hot days the temperature inside has been decent. However, had some issues with the entrance pod, lift never works, and weights are always all over the place (Park Royal). Ps. Personal hygiene is widely disregarded in this gym and post workout cleaning of the machines is avoided by its users. Also, beware of heavy bo in the Park Royal gym!

Negative experience: Showers with no privacy, gym to crowded and noisy, smelly gym and lockers, hygiene very poor disgusting horrible. Wights missing or misplaced or moved around the gym, staff are hiding can't even find them. strange gym.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic gym, very very large and spacious. Large variation of equipment and facilities such as studio, spin room and has a well equipped womens only section. Great variety of classes with knowledgable and friendly trainers. Free parking outside and good location. Overall brilliant quality gym.

Fantastic experience: My go to gym, very clean and organized and usually not too busy, however sometimes I find that certain equipment is always being used and it would be nice if there was some more of those equipments.

Positive experience: If you get to the gym and it is relatively empty (extremely rare occasion) then it has everything you will need, great high ceilings and plenty of space! However, it is extremely busy most of the time, you will constantly find yourself waiting for machines.

Positive experience: I'm always going to like all 9f the Pure gym's irrespective of any small issues they might have. My current annoyance is that they no longer have a dedicated phone line to allow you to actually speak to someone as I don't want to email and the only dm's I'm interested in are Dr Martin's. Other than that they are still one of the better gyms out there. Loads of equipment, lots of weights and lots of people sitting on their phones. Start working those biceps and stop working those fingers.

Fantastic experience: Massive gym, spacious and airy with lots of room to move about. Manageress Jemma was top notch and we thank her for all the help she provided.

Negative experience: Came for a class 9am class on Friday 25th March. I arrived in the building at 9.01am and in the studio at 9.02am. I was told due to lack of numbers the class was cancelled on arrival however I had been given no prior notice therefore wasted my time driving in. I then asked if anything could be done to accommodate me coming here and was told the PT would do a 15-20 minute class instead of the 45min class that I had initially booked for. The session was conducted with no music. I was told someone had stolen the cable so they couldn’t play music. Not sure how an engaging body tone class would have taken place without the music system working? I then spoke to the manager on duty, bald Caucasian man. I asked him how I could ensure that if I come to the class next Friday it would take place and not be cancelled due to low numbers. Instead of apologising for todays situation and taking feedback to find a solution to a valid problem, he instead accused me of being 2 minutes late as a reason for the class to be cancelled even though nothing was set up in the studio with regards to music, lights, PT matt. Shocked at how he responded. Extremely poor managerial skills to be honest, maybe taking a professional development course in good customer service would be highly beneficial. He took zero accountability for the music system not playing and gave me no reassurance that this would not happen again. Absolutely appalled by the service. Seems like a lazy excuse not to work to be honest and follow up with promised classes to the paying customer.

Positive experience: Good gym, spacious but only thing that would be missing is a Boxing bag which would be great for cardio. There are several rooms on the 1st floor which are spacious and have plenty of space, a boxing bag would be amazing. I’d be happy to contribute towards the purchase if necessary.

Positive experience: Can't say much at the moment too new to the gym to say. But love the amount of equipment. Some treadmills need there belts replaced. If there are curves in the belts, they are due for replacement. If you have to compensate your walk there is a problem. I have seen a couple or so have been replaced. As advise be on the ball with your 2 cleaning stations. Running out of paper roll. Overall great gym sofa and I am enjoying it.

Fantastic experience: Park Royal PureGym is one of the biggest gyms I've been to and has all the equipment I need for my training. The staff are also so lovely and friendly. The best team I've met so far. They so helpful and make sure the gym is always clean. A notable mention to coach Ibrahim Goni for always motivating me, Ricardo for believing in me, Tahirah for inspiring women with her body goals and Alex for bringing the vibes in the gym! Lovely team :)

Fantastic experience: I really liked it, love that they have a female section. It's big and has a wide variety and number of equipment. Getting in and out is also easy, the changing rooms and showers for women are spacious, clean, and have everything you need. You need to bring your own padlock though.

Negative experience: The shouting from the instructions & the loud music during classes is ridiculous!! There is no need for it and some consideration for others at the gym would be nice! Time to change gyms!

Positive experience: It's a gym. No one puts anything away. Pretty busy during peak times. Most of the clientele are there to work out with only a few who seem to treat it as a social club.

Positive experience: It's a decent Gym with new equipments and a cheaper price compared to other Gyms. The only drawback is no instructor to guide you even if it's your first day there. You better google how to use some complicated machines before you start off.

Not entirely empty, but empty enough for me to have a great morning session, not been gym in nearly 2 years, so im breaking myself in ever so gently , i want longevity in training, not injury because im running before i can walk. But great space, clean, friendly and manageable. No waiting around for a work area to be free, just straight in, on job.. im feeling like the early morning training session is the one guys. Atmosphere geat.. vibe, also great... really enjoyed and it, and it also reminded me how much i have missed going to the gym.. its not all just about, muscles and cardio, it also helps with mental health. Positive experience: The gym has what you need each one is differently laid out. Try to go in the off peak hours its more comfortable. Classes are good if that's your thing Good for its price

Fantastic experience: Pure gym Park Royal is spotlessly clean, the instructors are professional highly trained well turned out in a uniform that they all wear and they're all fit themselves. The classes are run in well ventlated studios with air con that works all social distancing protocols are observed . I've done body pump and spin class, the body pump instructor made sure everyone in the class was catered for by giving alternative excersises to those with limited range of movement, he didn't just stay at the front of the class he show the individual what they needed to do correctly. Spin class was the same, there was cleaning material provided for you to clean down the equipment after the class . The gym is full of the most up to date equipment, there's even a separate gym area for ladies who might want to train with women only. There's an area dedicated for free weights, floor work or bikes. My membership of£29.99 means I'm also provided with plain or smart water I just bring a water bottle with me. There also lots of discounts on trainers, gym gear, places to go and eat that you can use on the app. You can bring a friend along to have a taster to see if they want to join. You get your own unique pin code which you can use to enter the gym anytime you want to, so there is no need for reception. I've used a lot of gyms over the years including homes place, I consider pure gym on par with them for lot less money

Fantastic experience: They now have a womens only section which is amazing!! Makes me feel way more comfortable and less hesitant to go gym regularly

Negative experience: Your advert says in the internal radio, you are doing deep cleaning every night to increase our safety. So, how do you manage this "deep cleaning" if there are used chewing gums sticked on the machines?

Fantastic experience: This used to be my regular when was able to go before but now its occasional but still is really good gym. Well maintained, nice members, majority of people actually put their weights back which is good to see unlike at some of the pure gyms I've been too. I just like the vibe in this gym, staff and pts are nice also. Happy to be back and hope to visit again real soon

Positive experience: Slightly disappointed. Recently joined this gym, great, spacious, excellent equipment, can’t complain. Toilets/locker rooms are locked between 12am - 5am, I learnt the hard way. (No sign on the door either). Toilets/locker rooms are a basic necessity for a gym I don’t see the logic in restricting access to members. I hope the risk of this is looked into. Giving access to to an average 65 people or more (at midnight) to the disabled toilet is not fit for purpose, unhygienic to say the least with a limited cleaning schedule in place. What do you do if a member has medication in a locker room which is then locked in from 12am. Credit to the cleaner he’s been pulled from each end of the building to open the locker room for members who have to get in to the toilet/locker room. Great gym guys but the limited restriction to a toilet is a let down.

Positive experience: I use to go regular before covid, very good price considering its london. However the control of numbers was none existant and is somehow worse since covid..the max capacity on the app read as 150 or so...what a joke. At 100 its rammed with people crowding around machines. This maybe counting the training spaces towards the capacity but I dont know if you can even go in those rooms when theres no classes on(one of which is women only for those who like to segregate) Also i never noticed the staff putting away anything weight wise in my 2ish years of going. That seemed the norm until I switched to another gym now and all the staff are either cleaning ,giving a little advice or putting away weights!! Maybe Puregym doesnt encourage the staff to do these things or maybe they are underpaid either way they looked bored. Il probs change my score and review if things change but for now I just didnt feel like i could workout in my own time and space at this gym. Also there was sanitizer everywhere so kudos for that.

Fantastic experience: Big Gym, lady's only area, two stretching rooms, a studio, spin studio, functional area, box, large cardio area, legs area all in two floors and one of the best staff, Michael the manager is the best. Have good parking and some places near to eat if you needed. Park Royal station 5min walk
