Fantastic experience: I've been at this gym 3 weeks and have lost half a stone. What a fantastic place. I really wish I had joined earlier.

Fantastic experience: I've only joined Sparkle in the last 2 weeks, but I have been made to feel nothing but welcome by the team. I was given an induction straight away and shown how to use the equipment. Looking forward to my next visit.

Fantastic experience: Very welcoming atmosphere and team. I always feel really energised when I have visited Sparkle Ladies Gym. All the ladies are so nice, and it’s great to have a chat whilst getting fit. What a great addition to Frinton on Sea. I would throughly recommend this ladies gym to ladies of all ages and all abilities. It really is 5 star!

Fantastic experience: I can't say enough good things about Sparkle Ladies Gym. The wonderful instructors, Sam, Debs and Kirsty, are really friendly and welcoming and help you use all of the equipment correctly. The gym itself is spotlessly clean and pretty - and smells good too! This is so much more than a gym though. It is a social hub where ladies of all ages chat and support each other, while exercising. In the 2 months since joining I already feel stronger and more flexible and have lost half a stone. Thank you Sparkle Ladies Gym.

Fantastic experience: Joined Sparkles Gym when it first opened & I'm so glad I did! The ladies have made me feel so welcome & I look forward to going. Fantastic experience: Outstanding gym, couldn’t recommend enough, I feel so much more confident since going here, I feel welcome every time I walk through the door!. The team are incredible the ladies that work here are just amazing! they boost you up and make you feel great! they’re friendly and extremely professional. There is something for everyone and they cater to everyone’s individual needs and are always around to help!. Best thing to happen in Frinton in a long time! .

Fantastic experience: I have been a member from the start and love it! There is a real mixture of ages and gym experience but it doesn’t matter as everyone is friendly. The staff are really lovely, very helpful and supportive. It’s more than a gym, it’s a chance to chat with other ladies about anything and everything while exercising. Plans are already being made for Xmas celebrations by Sam, which is fantastic. I would definitely recommend if you want to make friends while exercising.

Fantastic experience: I've never been to a gym before - always been too intimidated - but the staff and other gym members at Sparkle are really welcoming. Such a lovely atmosphere! The equipment is easy to use and Sam, Debs and Kirsty are always on hand to help if you need advice. Definitely already improved my fitness and stamina after just a few weeks.

Fantastic experience: I have never found such a pleasant and helpful team. i am partially sighted and they couldn’t be more friendly, and helpful as well and all the gym members are lovely. I’ve only been attending this gym 3 weeks but I’ve made more friends here than the 4 years I’ve lived here.

Fantastic experience: Visited for the first time Friday , had my induction with Sam who was really welcoming, back in Sunday for my first workout, the other ladies working out were really friendly , a great atmosphere. There is plenty of exercise equipment that’s easy to use plus a room with weights. I’ve never felt so comfortable in gym until now

Negative experience: Very discriminatory . They say open to all women unless you are disabled . Trash mentality ️. Do not support this gym

Fantastic experience: I can't rate this gym high enough, it's welcoming, atmosphere is relaxed and friendly too. Sam is approachable and helpful when asked for help and advice. The equipment and gym is clean and the toilet is spotless! Really lovely place to go after a busy day.

Fantastic experience: So happy I decided to visit and join this gym over the weekend, and really enjoyed my first session today. I found all the staff to be friendly and knowledgeable and eager for me to get the most out of my session. Thank you Ladies for making me feel comfortable and valued.

Negative experience: If I was able to give this “gym” 0 stars I would. I am extremely disappointed to say, Me and my carer went to attend the opening weekend of Sparkle Ladies Gym in Frinton on sea as they advertised the gym is open for “everyone”. However, upon arrival we were greeted by two massive steps as I am a wheelchair user (who regularly attends a gym to help keep me fit and healthy and to help keep my mental health at bay) we thought there would be wheelchair access at the back, We pressed the bell which clearly stated “ring for assistance” and a symbol of a wheelchair. Eventually a lady came out, We were told there was no one qualified to assist me at the gym. This is a contradiction of what had been written in the Clacton Gazette 11th April 2024, which clearly states the gym will cater for ladies of all ages and all skill levels. I tried explaining to the lady that I do not need assistance as I know what mechine to use, also, that I would always have a carer with me who is trained in handling me on gym equipment. The response was “sorry we can’t cater for disabled people as we are not qualified, also we have no access for a wheelchair, so you can’t get in. I am extremely upset, this ladies only gym would have been so perfect for me as I am anxious when working out in a big gym as I feel people judge me for being “different”. to be completely honest I felt like the lady we spoke to was judging me already and probably thought I would lower the tone of her gym by allowing a wheelchair user in.
