Negative experience: beware .. used the gym for an hour .. got a penalty ticket that i stayed there till 6am !! could cause a divorce if i had gone to a night shift!!! i was clearly at home ... sloppy ... also the equipment in the is one level up from a home gym ... missing equipment that can effect a serious weight lifter : dumbbells only up to 40KG , not enough plates for leg press , incline chest , decline chest bench ,

Negative experience: Gym has good equipment and all basics needed. However the gym and bathrooms are not being cleaned. Toilet sink and facilities have thick layer of dust and grime. Men pee all over and leave us women to have to deal with it. Gross.

Positive experience: Nice gym, I usually use Aylesbury which is closer to my work but being off I thought I'd try Buckingham and it has a good range of machines and was relatively quiet at the time I went which was great for me.

Positive experience: It's a very small gym, and feels crowded, you're kind of on top of each other all the time. I wish they had more weights machines like in other PureGyms. It's clean though & I like the separate cubicles sith showers & toilets.

Negative experience: A very small gym with limited facilities in comparison to other Pure Gyms. The lack of competition in the area leaves members with no alternative choice of gyms.

Positive experience: Clean, tidy and organised for a gym. The only issue, like many, is that after work it is so busy. I'm still thankful for a Pure gym being 10-12 minutes away. During staffed hours they are always around the gym floor. One note, after hours it is sometimes weird to get in - do I use my pin on the main door then the app on the turnstiles inside?

Negative experience: The gym and facilities are small and equipment is very limited, often leaving you waiting. Quite bad that a gym in town of this size only has 3-4 benches… yet they still charge you a full price. If you are serious about gym I would recommend traveling to next town with proper gyms.

Fantastic experience: Nicely arranged in a challenging small surface, but it make clever use of the space to accommodate all the machines (new and some are multi purpose) and weights needed for a mid size gym. I've been workingout for 40 years now and this is a place you also enjoy the ambience and setting. Take your noise cancelling headphones if you don't participate in a class and you want to just workout on your own. By the way, I have noticed yesterday that the manager is awesomely dedicated, not only he approached the 1st day to help me on signing in (he also very friendly), but has everything in perfect order/cleanliness

Fantastic experience: Really good atmosphere , only issue is sometimes there's to many people you can barely use anything but that's understandable since it's normally just after work hours (5pm-7pm)peak. Overall Fantastic gym

Positive experience: A typical PureGym with all the equipment and machines that you would expect.
Positive experience: Small but brand new equipment. Crowded.
Positive experience: Cool gym! Has all the equipment I'm after. Due to Covid they are extra careful (with staff and gym goers) and have put in place cleaning stations throughout the space. Good job! I recommend using their app too, if you want to find the best time to go in when there are fewer then 10 people around.

We would advise popping to the gym between 9am-5pm on a weekday as that's when there are the most staff in the gym and you are more likely to be seen to, however you can visit anytime but may have to wait a little while as staff may be busy. Positive experience: I've been a member since opening and really enjoy this gym. Great equipment and space. However recently the personal trainers seem to be running ad hoc classes that take over the whole functional area making it very hard for others to do their workout. Today they had a meeting in the middle of the functional area and took up 90% of it. I think they could pay a little more attention to those that just want to come in and do their own thing. And stop having meetings in the middle of the gym... use the floor near the treadmills!

Positive experience: Great when it quiet but it's increasingly difficult to find a time to work out independently. Classes take over more equipment than are class participants and some instructors can become quite arsey when you approach them about it. Sasha is a splendid addition to the team. We appreciate her down to earth approach.

Positive experience: Really good gym that is always clean and tidy. Even though it's small it has everything you need to do a good workout. Decent free weights section with 2 squat racks and big range of dumbbells up to 40kg. I don't have an opinion about the personal trainers and I haven't taken any classes.

Negative experience: Someone please advise Becky Finney that it is not necessary to shout to be a good professional. She always puts the training music in the last volume too loud all the other instructors do not scream and do not make as much noise as she does. That bothers everyone. thank you!
