Negative experience: Today, after school, I went to this supermarket to shop, unfortunately I couldn't shop because there was no toilet and I preferred to go home, it's really strange that a shopping center and a store this big doesn't have health services in England and a big city like Birmingham.

Positive experience: It is a good place, nevertheless, I can not stand changing rooms due to several reasons- smells in the changing room and can be used as unisex, and locker places

Negative experience: Cancelled a direct debit membership through my bank and couldn't find the option to cancel on the website. I bought a 7 day pass since I was moving away in a few days but I can't use it since I'm apparently in debt for not cancelling my membership properly before the start of the month, operator on the phone said only thing I can do is continue my £27.50 student membership so I can use the gym for one extra day. Any other subscription service would automatically cancel after not receiving payment, not put you in debt on their website. Membership prices are ridiculous as it is, you're better off at any other gym.

Negative experience: This is the old part of the town, a bit run down now.

Fantastic experience: The staff were so helpful when I had missed a reminder email about swim lessons. Can't recommend them enough.

Fantastic experience: Really do like this gym. Didnt like the one instructor singling me out in one of the classes tho making me feel embarrassed. But it won't put me off!

Negative experience: Am a member here and I've noticed that when it comes to queuing up to talk to member of staff am left queuing for ages but as soon as a white person stands behind me a second member of staff will become available all off a sudden.... Like seriously you saw me waiting and ignored me but as soon as it was a white person you open. Today was even worse, I queued and this entitled white lady came in and stood in front of me even though I had been queuing and to make matters worse the receptionist who was helping me literally said, ow mind if I just help this lady first it will be quick!! It wasn't and thats not even the point..... This is micro aggression at its best, and it happens a lot at the Wednesbury site. Just because am black doesn't make my time any less valuable.

Negative experience: By far one of the worst places I have ever visited. Watched a member of staff refer to a paying member of public in their presence as a moaner. Young lady with brown hair and short was shocking at reception.

Fantastic experience: I called into Portway Leisure Centre to join up as I was having problems online. It was a busy Saturday morning but the 2 ladies on reception were welcoming and extremely helpful. They spent time showing me and helping me with the process. Credit to the Leisure Centre and I couldn’t thank them enough. As for the Leisure Centre & it’s facilities and staff A++++

Negative experience: Customer service is ZERO, whenever called they directed me to their website. And when you say that in the website is written contact to one of our team members for details, they just hung up the phone.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic leisure centre, with plenty if class to get involved in. Spin classes are fast and furious.

Fantastic experience: Great local chippy staff are always friendly and the food is the great, probably the best chips in this area.

Positive experience: Aqua fit classes are great .

Fantastic experience: This is the leased HQ for Sandwell Leisure Trust. IT IS NOT A LEISURE CENTRE. This place offers back office support to the Leisure facilities that the Trust manages for Sandwell MBC. Housed in the former Tipton Library next to Victoria Park

Fantastic experience: Would like SLT to look into a new subscription like £10 a month and if the member attends more than 3 occasions in the month they pay an extra charge as I dont have time to go everyday let alone once a week.

Negative experience: Absolute joke of a leisure Trust based on 3 years of poor hygiene, poor management service. Haden Hill in particular is very poor. Website is still in pre pandemic mode where everything is open and pls come and enjoy the services. You phone and your in a 2 hr queue position 1 but its been 2hrs loop. When u drive down over 5 miles and they adv you the facility u want to use is closed, makes u very angry. When you try to advise of your dissatisfaction you are advised to just email it. Wow. Well I had cancelled my membership and have now gone back to Harbourne Health, and you do get what u pay for, just £8 more a month than this horrible council run centre with poor management, and the service you get at Harbourne or any privately owned leisure facility is world's apart, from website, management, phone service to staff all have great emphasis paid to them. SLT its about how they want your money for a 3rd class service,WHY WOULD U GO THERE FOR THAT SERVICE

Fantastic experience: the place is fine, there is something I do not like and is that the gym does not have good lighting and has little machinery.

Positive experience: Anything to do with memberships is impossible- online system temperamental and if you manage to get through to head office, which is near impossible beyond leaving voice mails, don't expect any solution. However, classes are brilliant. Leisure centres are good as are the staff at them. Impressed and grateful that membership fees were frozen during lockdowns. If I could sort out my membership (3 months and counting,) book my child onto swim school and be able to book into classes properly (they are showing no spaces when there are spaces - you can call to book in but this can take 15 to 20 minutes which I can't do during a working day,) then this would easily be a 5 star.

Fantastic experience: I have used Portway, Haden Hill, Wednesbury and Tipton and can recommend all. Classes are amazing, so much choice and always well delivered. Staff are so helpful and pleasant.

Fantastic experience: I am about to join this gym due to the above and beyond help and assistance I have received from Natasha Swingler who is the Site Fitness Coordinator at Portway Lifestyle Centre. We have corresponded over email regarding questions I have about the gym among other things and she has given me everything I need to make my decision, and more! I can already tell that this is going to be a professional and caring gym not least because of the quick responses I have received and I am looking forward to having a good and beneficial time with these lifestyle centres.

Fantastic experience: Love the classes here and feel motivated by instuctors. Always met by the lovely reception staff. As i wasnt comfortable coming back to the gym when restrictions were lifted the membership team have been very helpful with suspending my membership until i feel ready to come back.

Negative experience: Customer service is shocking. Centres are not left to set their own timetables and are set by someone who doesn't understand the area. Priority is given to schools for swimming. No times available for family swims during the week apart from 19.15 (really?) Nobody to answer phones and they dont respond to emails.

Fantastic experience: Great people, friendly place

Negative experience: The gym services are great. But the staff lack communication. If something goes wrong with your membership you will have to run after them to get it fixed. I can't book my class online, contacted them about it but has beeb two days and not got any reply. The phone number on website says they are closed, all the time. I understand covid means less people working but then don't open the lesuire cebtre if you can't supprot the customers.

Positive experience: Great value for money, lovely and friendly staff in all centres. Love my One Card membership, unlimited access to classes, gym and swimming pools. I'm going to ladies only gym and it's well equipped. The only minus (therefore 4 stars only), all other leisure centres around have BODITRAX, you don't. Pity.

Fantastic experience: Big fan of sandwell leisure. I've been a member for about 5 years now and its really good value for money. Pays for itself if you use a couple of classes or go to the gym. Good facilities including sauna, steam room, exercise classes and fabulous gym and of course swimming. Great value.

Negative experience: Beware of this organisation especially if you have some medical condition.Joined in order to improve fitness following major spinal surgery which left me unable to work for 12 months.I only managed to attend 3 sessions before being advised to wait until further down the line in my recovery.I cancelled my membership immediately but have now received a letter from them demanding 3 months membership fee or they will send in debt collectors.Pity they don't try and get money back from all the corrupt councillors currently on Sandwell council instead of chasing people who have been genuinely put in a life changing situation.

Fantastic experience: This building used to be Tipton Library before they moved it to a room above the shopping centre off Owen street. This Grade 2 listed building was a landmark in the area. The local muslim's wanted to turn it into a mosque and ruin it forever until it was saved by the trust and preserved

Positive experience: No air -con .bad lesson co-ordination

Negative experience: Wouldn't even give you one star . You're telling kids to get fit learn to swim how can anyone do that when the hours you're open for family swimming are crap . For 5 hours today it was lane swim only little pool closed and believe it or not there was no one in there . These new pools should be open at all times for kids in school holidays . Took him to Daraston instead everything open you need to learn from this but you won't
