Negative experience: Absolutely HORRIBLE GYM. The pictures on the website are cat fishing. The gym in reality is so small and there is mould on the walls which is soo bad your health!!! The owner is terrible and doesn’t take care of the gym. He also doesn’t pay his employees (as I have heard). The owner itself is a liar, which should be enough to deter you away from this gym. WORST GYM EVER. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND DONT GIVE IT TO THE LYING OWNER.

Fantastic experience: Good

Negative experience: It’s an average gym. Wish they had more equipment. Only reason I’ve stayed is because it’s female only. It takes me 20 minutes driving to get here, really annoyed as there opening times state they close at 4pm on Saturday, but they are closed! Ridiculous! Also there is no water fountain? What?

Fantastic experience: I joined this gym almost 2 months ago, best decision i ever made. The staff and all members are very nice and polite, i have little confidence but i feel very welcome here and its helping me build my confidence. Also being an all womans gym makes it feel safe. Perfect location aswell with a beautiful park to walk through after working out. 100% recommend.

Negative experience: I am writing to lodge a complaint regarding my recent experience, I requested to suspend my membership for one month due to personal reasons that prevent me from attending the gym. However, my request was unexpectedly denied on the grounds of internal club policy. What is particularly frustrating is that when I initially signed up on-site, I was not provided with any documentation outlining these terms, nor was the policy explained to me by any staff member. This lack of transparency is quite disappointing. I personally submitted my request to the front desk staff and asked for the contact information of the manager or the owner. I was assured that I would be contacted the same day. Unfortunately, a week has passed with no follow-up or response. This experience has left me very disappointed and has diminished my trust in your services.

Fantastic experience: I've been a member of this gym for almost a year, and I can say - that getting the membership there was one of the best decisions I've made regarding my health and fitness. This gym is not like a regular commercial gyms - even though it is smaller, it offers all the variety of machines and classes for everyone. It doesn't matter if you are a beginner and want to start with something easy like yoga or pilates, or you are full on into fitness and would like to challenge yourself and push your limits in boxing or bhangra class - this gym offers everything. Overall the gym "community" ( both including the staff, trainers and the gym members ) is really friendly and supportive to each other. Gym is well looked after and organised. The gym app let's you keep on checking your progress in attendance, book the classes or even communicate with the staff if needed. 10 / 10

Fantastic experience: I sent my sister here and it has been nothing but good reviews, the manager is very friendly and approachable. An over all very well run gym.

Positive experience: My wife joined this gym in January, overall its not that bad what she tells me, it's convenient for her,not far from home....may be its a little bit expensive. Main problem is that this place don't have a WiFi if my wife had known about that she would not join. Wife's Vodafone signal is bad inside and Vodafone mobile Internet is not working at all. Reception lady was nice when we visited, she was sorry about WiFi, it's out of her control. Personally I think owner should invest in good strong Virgin media broadband.

Negative experience: So today I visited Vyzion Fitness and I am disappointed to say the least. I first called the gym earlier in the day asking to view, the lady over the phone was trying to get me to get an annual membership for £300 but I explained I’m not interested , she was quite persistent but I told her again. I visited the gym later in the evening excited to join as it’s womens only, the lady at reception was rude, didn’t even introduce herself and I feel as though she needs some customer service training. Especially for people who are starting to a gym, you want to feel welcomed in a friendly manner with a friendly face. She also kept doing the same thing the other lady on the phone was doing , pushing me to buy annual membership for £300!!! I told her over and over I’m not interested and I can’t afford it and she listened finally after about 10 times ! (Also not everyone has that kind of money lying around especially with the cost of living ). Once I entered the gym I found it to be quite small but not worth £42.99 a month! the sauna was small too. After showing me around the lady told me that they have a policy that if the person leaves the gym after viewing then they will be charged £15 I told her that’s fine as I had already made up my mind by then, she then proceeded to write my name and ask me how to spell it. I left and I will not go back. I used to go to Energize years ago and the team were friendly and I thought the new gym would be better but I was completely mistaken. The pictures on the website are false advertising too! Waste of time. I don’t believe it’s worth £42.99 a month.

Fantastic experience: BEST TRAINERS EVER! They push you to your best. This is what I call training they believe in you before you do. Wide and excellent range of classes. Classes are always on time and well delivered. I love the facility it’s always clean, well run, friendly non judgemental staff and well priced.Simply the best decision of my life! Makes everyone feel welcome. Highly recommend to anyone whatever your fitness goals. Thank you everyone at Vyzion gym for all their hard work. Best ladies only gym I have ever been to, I always feel safe and secure.

Great gym with AMAZING classes and AMAZING instructors! No matter what your size, shape or fitness level, you will be inspired and motivated. Great bunch of regulars too!

Negative experience: The gym itself is good, however some of the staff are extremely rude, it’s not always a very welcoming environment.

Positive experience: Is nice n clean, Clean toilets but the main issue is that is very small not enough space to workout... Mechines are not enough no much verity of Mechines.

Positive experience: I didn't have any induction on my first day, even though I requested it as I know it is mandatory...and I thought the extra £10 I paid in the beginning would be for the induction as they did in my previous gym. I was only shown around. When I asked for assistance with one of the equipments, I was told by the lady that she didn't know how it works. Another issue to point is that, it happened twice that I went to the gym and they didn't have the room set up for users. The rowing machines were placed in between other equipments, as if they were out of use, and I had to ask them to move it so that I could use it. I've noticed this happened again this weekend with another gym user who was struggling to move the rowing machine away, because it was preventing her to use other equipment. In addition, I've noticed one the equipments kept a used tissue few days in a row, without any staff members have removed it since they clean the equipments regularly??? Other than that, I like the gym.

Negative experience: 2 out of 5. This gym has great potential, good equipment, like the fact they have a sauna and float therapy, however, the staff need training to offer better customer service. A platinum membership is £55 a month - my first day there - the two girls in the reception area were having a conversation. One girl just pointed the scanner at me - no proper greeting, no questions asked. So I scanned the app. I said it’s my first time in but they didn’t offer to show me around, give an induction, nothing. They also saw I have the platinum membership - which states you get towels upon entry and unlimited hot drinks - none of this was given or even mentioned to me. I found my own way around and discovered where the changing rooms and toilets were. I wanted to use the sauna but it wasn’t turned on, I went to ask and they told me that I needed to let them know in advance if I wanted to use it so they could turn it on as it takes time to heat up. If I was given a basic induction to the gym I would have known that! I really didn’t benefit at all getting the platinum membership I might as well downgrade as Im not receiving even copper service. Funny thing is I also got a family member to join and she said the same thing about her first time there without me mentioning to her my experience. They also charged me twice this month, I called reception to see why, the person didn’t take any of my details, she just said that happens, we’ll refund you if you get charged more than once. I definitely won’t be paying £55 a month anymore.

Fantastic experience: The gym is now under new management. Looks amazing inside, Friendly staff! The sauna after a good workout is my ultimate favourite. The float tank is also a unique experience! Definitely recommend

Negative experience: I am a wheelchair user, no disabled toilet guy said they don't cater for people like me. I may have joined as its just up the road

Negative experience: All gym are open and they aren't . No picking up calls, no information to customer about re opening. No picking up the phones. you cant cancel the contract otherwise they will charge you £350. No customer service, nothing. Its terrible and frustrating.

Positive experience: Good deals, limited parking

Negative experience: Energise health and fitness charge £30 a month and use an external company to collect payments. The name of the external company is DFC finance otherwise known as Debit Finance. Google DFC finance and read the hundreds of reviews of unsatisfied customers. The customer service is appalling. Talking down to customers and making it seem as though they are somewhat superior. I'm not sure why energise use this external company however this company is putting a very bad name to energise fitness. There are reviews on Google stating that after the 12 month contract ended. DFC was charging £350 for cancellation fee even though the contract is ended. It seems as if Energise is giving out a contract saying 12 months with 1 month notice cancellation. However DFC is asking for £350 to cancel early.

Been a member for the past 6 months and I love it. Have to mention that PT's are amazing. Both going way beyond my expectations and the passion they have for their job makes them the best!

Negative experience: This is the worse gym I have seen. The staff are very rude and with disgusting behaviour. They are very nice at first, the 2nd day, they ignore you and give you attitude. What kind of gym is if the staff doesn’t help you at your first day and tells you to do everything yourself. I really suggest to those who want to join, not to apply for it. You will regret later.

Fantastic experience: Rabia, the beautician does the most relaxing facials. She is definitely the best I've been to, and I've been to quite a few! There's a lady who works at the beauty lounge on Tuesdays whose massages can instantly put you to sleep. I would highly recommend. I'm a regular at this place and can't recommend it enough. As for the gym- it's good.

Fantastic experience: It’s been just over a year since I joined energise, best decision! The staff, environment and services are just simply remarkable. energise is literally minutes from me so I can pop in whenever I want! I do get a bit crazy whilst training but that doesn’t seem to be a problem at all, everyone does their own thing. When joining they’ll discuss your goals and give you advice on how you can achieve. The classes are also amazing, you really ache afterwards! But that’s good :D So overall, I can’t express enough how much Energise has helped me, both physical and mentally. Definitely give it a go!

Fantastic experience: It's a women only gym. I had the chance to look inside outside of working hours to pick up some equipment and it looked very pleasant. Much better equipped than expected and the staff appeared to be very friendly.

Fantastic experience: I like this gym very much. This place is always clean, the atmosphere is very good, just right for having a good workout. You always can discuss your questions or exercises plan with professional people that are more than happy to help you with advice and examples.

Negative experience: I think it's very expensive so such small place and equipment is very limited not worth it at all

Fantastic experience: I have been to many gyms in the last few years but I can honestly say that energise is truly helping me reach my goals. I love the set up in the gym and how comfortable I feel within the premises. I have also started Personal Training sessions which are truly enjoyable. I love the entire staff and I am extremely excited every time I come. Would definitely recommend.

Negative experience: Wouldn't use the gym. Equipment isn't great. Managers attitude is terrible. He owns a women's only gym and shows little respect towards women. Wouldn't recommend. However the beauty salon hidden within the premises is second to none.
