Negative experience: The on line booking facility for swimming sessions is diabolical. Times don’t match up. Sessions offered turn out to be off the timetable and now I cannot access the site. I visited the pool earlier tonight and explained that I could not access the booking portal (kept getting 404 Error messages). The manger said that she had forwarded the Vivify portal and contact number to me by email. I have not received this and have no other means of contact.

Positive experience: Nice clean pool, friendly staff. Lockers need round trolley coin or old £1 coin. Free parking. Showers are VERY hot and at moment some aren’t working in Ladies shower area. Overall I really like the pool and would have given 5* but showers let it down a bit. Membership very good value, only £24 month and as I swim at least 4 times a week well worth it.

Fantastic experience: Lane swimming . Book in advance to get a time slot & it seems to be a great idea . You can try each slot & see which one works best for you . Buy a life card & go swimming for less than 4 quid . Recommended.

Negative experience: Constantly cancel swimming lessons and offer no refund. You pay upfront but don't get it back. 2 out of 4 lessons I have paid for this month has been cancelled already, let's see if the next 2 get cancelled aswel!

Fantastic experience: Amazing staff x so clean

Positive experience: Removed the Swim Pods with no warning which we had been booking in almost every week since they began. We tried the regular sessions on Saturday and purposely chose one with very few spaces booked due to one of our children not handling busy areas too well. This seemed to work until the family from the next session decided they were going to start their session a good 10-15 minutes early and take over the pool. Generally the staff are polite and friendly and the cleanliness and condition of the pool is as expected for a local community centre. There are a few customers who mistake the changing rooms for the bins but it’s not the centres fault these tramps exist. There’s plenty of parking for the size of the centre especially disabled. However, please bear in mind if you need a blue badged space they fill up quickly usually by non blue badge holders. In fact, on our very first visit on the new time table 2 spaces were parked on by some woman who had just had her hair greased at the local chippy and then picked up her dangerously obese daughter and grand son.

Fantastic experience: havent visited the pool only the football pitches but there good pitches they are the sand type so astro trainers or flats or probably best mouldys or a bit tricky on there

Negative experience: Not the usual good experience. Water in the pool was not up to a comfortable temperature and the showers were cold. Overall a disappointing morning .

Fantastic experience: Great sports centre with really good facilities. Staff friendly. Lots of training or sports courses.

Positive experience: The pool is Ok for the size, water is a good temperature, the staff are always very friendly, the only down side is the changing rooms, they are a little run down and a lot of the lockers are broken but we still go. Pity, a bit more money could be spent cleaning it up.

Negative experience: Used to be good but now an absolute joke, tried to book football and was directed to a non existent call centre where was told " all our operators are busy " , what at 8 oclock at night !!! Avoid, overpriced council run dump.

Positive experience: Went swimming. Shallow down one end for learning swimmers and deeper at the other end for accomplished fish. Water level with side floor of pool so no climbing to get out. Friendly and helpful staff, good changing facilities and parking for many cars on site.

Fantastic experience: Great place for a quick splash with the kids 45min sessions

Positive experience: This place could seriously do with a small café or coffee bar. At the moment we only have use of vending machines which aren't always full or working properly cad bottles get stuck . And it eouy be a far nicer place to sit than the pokryy room they have now that's really hot all the time .

Fantastic experience: I go to the disabled swim group which is just £3 every Thursday and I have friends thete plus it's very beneficial.
