Fantastic experience: Awesome staff and facilities. Staff can't do enough to help you out.

Positive experience: Great sports centre and facilities. I just wish the parking was free to ppl using them.

Positive experience: My daughter attends gymnastics weekly. Shes really enjoying it. Nice cafe onsite, however dont have much selection on sandwiches by evening time. Nice modern toileting facilities and a viewing room to be able to watch your child in session. I'd like to see the sofa play open in the evenings for younger siblings to keep them entertained.

Positive experience: A friendly gym, with great people, but sorely in need of some more specialized equipment. Great if you're into power lifting, there's a huge selection of compound lift stuff, Could do with some more isolation machines, hip abductors, preacher curl, calf machine, that sort of thing. Staff are lovely, and seem well treated by management.

Positive experience: Had a soft play party for my daughter the staff were absolutely amazing couldn't fault them the only thing I would say is to probably up the time for soft play party to instead of an hour and half to maybe 2 hours or a little longer if you can❤️ but again as I've said I couldn't fault anything we absolutely loved it there

Positive experience: Nice soft play for younger ones. Can get very busy. Would be great if they could get rid of the vending machines as they are very pricey and often out of order. Park run is excellent fun for kids.

Fantastic experience: Recently had a p t session with Harry Bateman. He was brilliant and would thoroughly recommend him. He really listened to my goals and what I wanted to achieve. He's very knowledgeable and passionate about what he does. He divised a plan that was realistic and achievable. With Harry's encouragement and support I feel positive going forward. He has enabled me to get my mo-jo back! Thanks Harry.....one very grateful O.A.P.

Positive experience: Child goes to gymnastics here. Free parking with that class, lots of parking. She is loving the gymnastics, go next door to the big skate park with other kids whilst she's there but they have jump n gym (soft play) and a cafe, also a viewing room if child in attendance.

Fantastic experience: It is very good to get a little exercise on the machines which do all the work. It helps to work some muscles which do not otherwise get used in normal lifestyles.

Fantastic experience: Really enjoy the atmosphere at the gym and the classes I've been go have been excellent. Outside my comfort zone but the instructors are really welcoming Been going for a few months now and it's still as good as ever. Gone through a recent update and it's still great.

Positive experience: The membership is well priced for what is offered and covers both centres in the city. People moaning about the app have a point. It is not perfect but serves its purpose. All information within the app is accurate and booking classes etc is very straightforward. App is just a little primitive and messy. Never had an issue with staff or instructors. They can get busy for long periods so for people who try to call, don't bother. The information you need is most probably on the app or website, try that first!

Negative experience: Went to order a take away coffee at 14.38 and was informed the machines had already been turned off. They close at 15:00.

Positive experience: Visited halo for the fitness session for alzheimers sufferers and carers. A good opportunity to get out and mix with others. On the visit on 20/6/24 we tried the bicycle track on a couple of their bikes including the two abreast one which is OK provided you both peddle.

Fantastic experience: Nice venue, good parking

Negative experience: Last 2 years my daughter attending to gymnastic class, and in does 2 years time i can't see any progress. I believe main reason of this is that kids teaching kids, and also because they take so many kids in class, half of time kids waiting in queue to do exercise. Not recommended.

Negative experience: Staff very unprofessional and rude, customer service training required. Not at all helpful when assistace required for an issue within the centre. Person on cafe bar had a bad attitude and so did the duty manager for the evening. Made a complaint via web and no reply, probably deleted. Awful experience.

Fantastic experience: So good to visit HLC. Seeing familiar friendly faces whilst my son was being inducted in the Gym. A real welcoming vibe.

Positive experience: I played a round of golf, it cost £17.50 for 9 holes & that included the hire of some clubs. Quite dear I thought, but at least the parking was good value. £1.00 for up to 4 hours. I eventually found the first tee, I had to ask for directions from two groups of golfers, this being my first time here. I enjoyed playing the golf, though I'm a rank amateur, very rarely play. The main problem I had was knowing where to go, getting from one green to the next tee. If you knew the course this wouldn't be a problem. But I must have spent 45mins wandering about looking for the next tee & wondering which direction to hit the ball to the next green. There was virtually no signage at all; the tees weren't marked with a number, even the flags on the greens didn't have a number. No information about how long the hole was, or where the green was, you couldn't always see them. I managed to play holes 1 - 8 I think, after a lot of unnecessary walking about. But then I couldn't find the ninth tee, so I just played hole 6 again, quite well I might add, a great putt up an uneven hill. Then walked back to the leisure building. 9 holes have never been such hard I work.

Positive experience: Really enjoyed our last visit as the baby pool was open with all the toys out for the kids which made it nice for my kids

Positive experience: Super gym with knowledgeable, helpful staff. Enjoying working out for the first time at the age of 66! The showers are a bit basic and the lockers are a bit small for gym bags etc. With the numbers attending I would have thought larger but fewer lockers would be in order.

Fantastic experience: A great local leisure centre. It caters for everyones needs, including gym facilities with changing rooms and showers, squash courts, seating area, children's soft play area, large indoor courts for badminton, football etc. Also, importantly, they have a good coffee shop.

Negative experience: Phone never answered really !!

Fantastic experience: I booked in to play badminton with a work colleague. They took great care of us at reception, staff were very helpful and accommodating and I can't wait to return. Thank you!

Positive experience: Having floor repair in main Gym. Taking forever. Like walking into a Gym in the 70s. Many classes not running. Will they ever restart them?? No music, screens or air conditioning in temporary Gym area and they still take your full membership each month!!

Fantastic experience: Cheaper parking than expected. Clean and spacious centre. Friendly and professional staff. Tae Kwon Do, Trampolining, Weight.s and calisthenics were all on the go in the hall this evening (Weds) Busy but orderly. Really pleased to see, in the aftermath of Covid.

Negative experience: Very poor booking app. Totally insecure. Help desk never seem to answer and some staff don’t understand their systems and unfriendly Cancelling membership

Positive experience: Play squash here regularly. It's decent very popular as they have many things going on. Only down side is the website is bloody shocking and don't even think bout ringing up it takes me several tries everytime other than that brilliant

Negative experience: The toning beds are worth more than the 2 stars I gave it. But good luck if you manage to get someone to actually answer the phone. Think there on a permanent break from it. Was thinking of joining but now having second thoughts.

Negative experience: Absolutely terrible phone communication, you can all them x20 times in a row and nobody will answer the phone. So goodluck to anybody who booked a class but wants to cancel last minute- you will be charged fees for not showing up. It is easier to go in and talk in person however they are unable sort account issues and have to refer onto management who will "call back"...but they don't! I have been charged account fees because they computer system didn't process direct debits despite all account details being correct and they were unable to refund. Simply shocking customer service. In addition, none of the courts are included in the membership- this is not said anywhere on the website when signing up for membership, this is fraudulent and simply misleading. The facilities themselves are actually fine, small gym and great classes. Unfortunately, I would not be recommending this gym. Highly highly disappointing. Also, the app is very temperamental. Said I booked a slot, turned up and it didn't go through! I said this to he team and they said there is nothing they can do to sort so now all booking need to be done via telephone or in person. Absolutely terrible.

Positive experience: Hereford would be at a huge loss without this place, it's a primary building/facility which many locals use. Reception is good, cafe is good, kids absolutely love the soft play and the gym is always busy. I've never used the gym (Halo) so can't say how good/bad it is. Grounds are very popular especially for running and football.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely brilliant, have bought our children to soft play twice and will be returning next week as they love it so much. Clean, good value for money and very covid compliant!

Fantastic experience: Booked a slot for the soft play area, for my daughter, and it was all really straight forward. There is a sanitisation station as you come through the entrance and all very clean and tidy throughout. 1.5 hour slots are adequate for a child to have a good time playing. There were a couple of parents that forgot to wear masks whilst moving around inside the play area, but it's easily done when chasing around after your child.

Positive experience: Great selection of activities and gym. Equipment is varied but slightly outdated in places. Worth visiting, especially at the price.

Fantastic experience: Badminton courts are clean and tidy after lockdown, great effort has been made to keep everyone safe.

Positive experience: It is a great little gym if your on a budget as most gyms around hereford when doing my research were £40 plus. When this came in at £30 that was more acceptable as to what a gym membership for a month should cost. I personally just used it for the main gym bit on the ground floor. The reason it only gets 4 stars and not 5 is the lack of space and weight equipment to use. On a busy day it can be almost impossible to use what you want, so some days can be a write off. Lots of cardio machines to use. 2 main reasons I no longer use this gym is the traffic getting into and out of that part of Hereford to where I have to travel home and I now have space at home to put gym equipment.
