Negative experience: Not much to say. Used it for a few years and in that time floors damaged, roof leaking, toilets out of service, broken machines, little to no knowledge of supplements so they’ll suggest whatever has the highest profit margins, will say they’re getting certain things in such as heavy Dumbells but nothing will come, charging you double for membership and finally they will try to force you to continue paying them by stating you are contracted (if you haven’t signed physically or electronically it’s irrelevant) then they will try to repeatedly collect the money every few days from your bank for a few months without your consent. Would advise avoiding it as there are plenty of better options even the leisure centre in Magherafelt.

Positive experience: A decent gym, a really nice quiet boxing area upstairs. For those who prefer elliptical trainers for cardio: when I was there, there were only 2 trainers and one of them was not working; however, there are a few treadmills and I believe spinning bikes upstairs as well. A really cool stair trainer. For shy people like myself: be prepared that there are no male/female sections (toilets or changing rooms) — not a big deal but you will probably need to wait for visitors of a different gender to leave the changing room before entering. No water coolers (I think? at least I didn't see any, correct me if I'm wrong), I think there was a fridge with bottles and you can buy water instead. Be careful when paying for access to the gym with your card (on the website, for example), don't forget to read the fine print: according to the management, there are no refunds, no matter what. I thought I paid for access to the gym for 1 month (1-month membership) but it turned out to be a recurring subscription. I went there once, had a workout and then decided not to continue with this gym (personal and rather sensitive reason, can't blame the gym itself but wouldn't go there anymore). When I noticed that I was charged for the second month I messaged the gym asking to cancel my subscription and refund me for that second month (mind you, I've only ever been to the gym once, but I paid for a 1-month membership so the first payment was fair, I thought). They answered with "Unfortunately we don't offer refunds however we are happy to pause that month for you to use within the next 6 months" which was useless to me because I'm not going to go to the gym again. When I explained that, I was asked to leave my phone number and (I presume?) management eventually contacted me on the phone and I was told that there can be no refunds, period, no matter what, and I should have read the fine print. I'm not used to people talking to me in such a manner to be honest, so I just told them that they can consider the issue resolved if they think the payment was justified. The £35 definitely were not worth the additional stress, I regretted that I ever contacted them (not even comfortable knowing they have my phone number, given their answer to another review here). Hope they at least had the decency to actually cancel my subscription as I requested and won't be contacting me ever again. So, if you have your own water with you and are 100% sure that you are committing to this particular gym, read the fine print and you're grand; otherwise, be prepared that their customer service is not great and any refund requests will probably be turned down and you'll be treated as if you tried to steal money from their pocket.

Fantastic experience: Top class gym staff are always helpful and ready to help I myself started a program along with a 3 month membership since I myself am new to the gym so program has been extremely helpful

Negative experience: BEWARE!! No cancellation and the classes are a basic online tracking app which was made unclear. Asked for a refund for the 'classes' as it wasn't what I expected and was basically told tough no refunds after paying in full!
