Fantastic experience: I will be definitely coming to join after I have spoke with the new general manager Mo, the gym is very tidy and have loads of equipment and space to train! I like it at lot! 5 ⭐️ for the entire management

Fantastic experience: Good gym with 24 hour access suiting my lifestyle and shift work. If you pick the right time of day to go you have no issues getting on machines or equipment and facilities are always clean. The lockers are a bit temperamental and could do with being replaced but other than that it’s great!

Fantastic experience: I went on Tuesday afternoon and was greeted by Mo the new general manager. He pushed me to my limits and made me work like I've never done before. The staff are really kind and respectful. I would highly recommend Anytine fitness to anyone.

Negative experience: DO NOT USE THIS gym!!! Tried to cancel my membership and had no access to the gym for four months then I get a debt collectors letter trying to charge me for Five months worth Of services I have contacted that manager she was very rude No wonder why the gym is always empty!

Negative experience: Do not join this gym. As you can see from a lot of these recent reviews, the owner is a complete scam artist. Overcharged me for 2 months and then made it impossible for me to cancel my contract. Avoid at all costs.

Fantastic experience: I recently joined Anytime Fitness and really love the place. Staff very helpful and friendly. And the main part it's very clean and tidy. I love it.

Negative experience: AVOID!!! Customer service is terrible and staff very unwilling to help over the phone. Better of using a cheaper gym with no contract. They will charge you an extra month when you cancel and issue you with threats, text and late fees even when the late payment is their own fault. They have no discretion and their policy is to bleed you for as much money as possible. Managers say it is above their pay grade to help you and hang up the phone!

Fantastic experience: Cracking place, always clean and tidy and in the mornings all equipment is available with only a short wait. Staff are chill and happy to help when asked

Negative experience: Direct debit cancelled as lost job and had to relocate, closest gym was now 20 miles away. Went to fill in cancellation form online but always took me to a page to re set up direct debit! Anytime fitness then took to using my card details to put payments through each month as a visa transaction. THATS FRAUD!

Negative experience: Not even worthy of one star, so cancelled my subscription after my year came to an end and was assured it would be cancelled and a link sent to me however nothing was sent to me and by this time I had made my bank aware DD was cancelled. I therefore thought everything was ok , only to receive a letter stating I have missed payments and now I owe them £131.85! I challenged this yet they still made me pay £70, the gym is an absolute joke, all there after is money it’s very sales focused. I would never recommend this gym it’s a rip off, staff are con artists. So in a nutshell I had to pay for the incompetence of the staff making errors and having wrong details on system, link wasn’t sent as never had right number all typos. It’s a joke and tbh should of challenged it further then pay for there mistakes.

Negative experience: The gym is a complete scam and I advise not joining at any cost. Have an injury and the doctor advised not to attend gym until physio therapy and fully recovered. I sent them the doctor note, they reactivated my frozen account and said the doctors letters should state I will not be able to attend gym for more then 6 month. They have no concern for Human rights or follow the GDPR regarding your personal data. Payments will be taken without your consent and your account will be in The control of the staff. The gym is outdated and the showers are installed in a disabled toilets, only one member can use it at once.

Negative experience: The worst gym I’ve never been. Most of the staff are polite but the manager is rude and unhelpful. I have made a request since February to cancel my registration due to relocation and they did not accept any proofs I have sent them which they particularly asked for after delaying to review them until March. That resulted to a charge of the April month and more specifically an extra month’s fees as well because apparently I had to pay a month in advance in order to cancel my registration . Additionally they charged me twice many times for several months and they did not refunded any money back until today as well as withdrawing money from a different card I paid once without my permission and the manager apparently told me that I gave that card as a second method of payment but that was completely unaware by me. To conclude I must admit that I am really disappointed by the way I ve been treated as a customer and I ve experienced a terrible customer service ! I ve had to pay unnecessary fees and penalties after deciding to end the contract of agreement which I was legally entitled to since I ve had to move to another county and that was part of the contract ! Last but not least i find rude the fact of a business withdrawing random and unnecessary transactions out of my bank and non handling customer confidential information by also withdrawing money out of different bank accounts under my name without any permission .

Negative experience: ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING CUSTOMER SERVICE! Definitely more concerned about filling their own pockets versuses doing the right thing. Signing up process was awful. I wasn't aware that I had been asked to sign a contract as I was only presented with a box to sign. I wasn't informed about the 14 days cooling off period (which would have made it clear that I was consenting to a contract). I never received the contract as the wrong email address was taken by the person signing me up. I called 15 days later to cancel and was told that I was already in my 12 month contract, so I couldn't exit. I explained my experience of the signing up process and that I hadn"t received a contract. The system was checked and found that there was a typo in my email address. I requested another 14 days cooling off period, but the gym declined it. Although, I was entitled to a discounted rate, the person signing me up had still put signed me up to the full rate- which I found out once the contract came through after my email address was rectified. The rate was adjusted once I brought it to the gym's attention- but that is all that has been done. Emails & calls were exchanged since 6th February 2023, yet no resolution STILL. My contract is totally UNETHICAL. For the price paid, all the equipment found there and in other gyms are more or less the same. There are only three showers (I believe) and you may as well forget about resolving disputes when they arise. There is also a speaker that makes noises in connection to the movement of the door- highly annoying if you have no headphones. Honestly, DO NOT BOTHER SIGNING UP. Part 2- Ending my contract- I had cancelled my membership online on 29th April 2024 and was informed that my last payment would be on 01st May 2024. On 02nd May, I received an email WELCOMING ME BACK, even though I had not rejoined. On receiving the email, I contacted the gym and spoke to a member of staff. She advised that she will manually cancel my membership and contact the call centre as she was unsure why they had reactivated it. A few minutes later, I spoke to her again, she confirmed that my membership has been manually cancelled and that she had spoken to the call centre. When I mentioned that I will cancel my direct debit as the last installment has been taken already. I was advised not to as this would deactivate my fob, preventing me from accessing the gym- even though I should of had access until 31st May 2024. I would prefer no access, rather than another potential charge. PLEASE sign up elsewhere if you're looking for a gym.

Negative experience: Quite good gym with polite staff and clean equipment. However, when signing up we agreed on a 12 month contract that could be terminated in case of emergency. The management assured me that it is perfectly fine and doable. Like any good sales-team, they failed to mention the bad details like the need to pay a fee every month and the need to pay for another month in advance, even if I requested the matter with plenty of time ahead and my key fob will be deactivated. I don't accuse of these details not being true, however the management team could have put a little more effort in making customers who asked particular questions about the matter aware of these details before signing up.

Positive experience: Like the segregated cardio/freeweight section Nothing really knocks the place other than that noise that goes off every time someone enters gym ;'( Right near tesco, decent age range and looked after equipment. Bit busy around 4-6 but is expected as not many decent gyms in area

Negative experience: Absolutely shocking. Don't join this gym! I've been waiting for a refund of £330 for over two months and nothing! Poor

Fantastic experience: I've been to a few ranches of Anytime Fitness, and this one is definitely the most spacious, with a big, separate free weights area which has plenty of power racks and two deadlift plaftorms, and can be used without feeling cramped. Definitely a cut above the usual chain gyms for anyone serious about lifting.

Positive experience: So far so good. Only been a member for a month. Everything you need in a gym. Machines are well spaced out. Very clean. A great improvement compared to the gym in Thrapston where I was a member for 11 years!

Negative experience: Many classes either cancelled or trainer nit attended. And not really enough classes after working hours... So most remain unattended at best.

Fantastic experience: I've been a member for over 12-months now at Anytime Fitness Rushden and over that period I have found the manager and her team to be the consummate professionals in every aspect. I have achieved all my fitness goals (although it hasn't been without it's challenges) but AFR has made me feel empowered and positive coming out of lockdown whilst losing almost 5 kilos within 3-weeks, I feel fantastic! There are 'wannabe' low quality/cost gyms in the area which may cost you less short term but no doubt cost you more in the long run reaching your goals ATF can't be beaten in every aspect! It's a pleasant environment and there's plenty of space at the gym never feeling overcrowded. I've never felt intimidated or embarrassed by other members because of being a little overweight the environment is condusive for a great workout. All members at ATF are decent people and friendly locals. The gym equipment at AFR has never failed and is well maintained and high quality. Health and safety is the highest priority for the club and its members there are sanitising stations and lots of disinfectant to use everywhere so you don't feel at-risk with members respecting social distancing also. I have seen AFR Rushen consult and adapt to accommodate members needs feeling more of a community than a sterile corporate fitness centre. Lastly the team is very well trained, they always look smart and come across professional and most importantly have a friendly demeanor coupled with probably the best fitness app available to help me organise my workouts and arrange my next booking. The only worthwhile gym in the area for me!

Positive experience: Nice clean gym, lots of offers for new members. I like to go late at night when is on the quieter side however I have been at peak times and have not needed to wait for equipment to become free. Parking can be a bit of an issue at times as they share the car park with Tesco.

Fantastic experience: I've just come back from my second session at Anytime Fitness Rushden. What a great gym! I regret not checking it out sooner. I signed up at the weekend. The process was very simple. Matt and the team were very helpful. Armed with my key fob I now have 24/7 access to an excellent facility. My previous gym didn't open until 6.30 which made working out before work impossible. No such problem now. All the equipment is still like new. The other members I have encountered so far all seem to respect the equipment and other users. Weights re-racked, equipment wiped down etc. There is a wide range of equipment, something for all needs. I cannot comment on the classes as I haven't done one yet but I am keen to do so. If you're looking to join a gym for the first time or are unhappy with the one you're at then check out this place. I can certainly recommend it on what I've seen so far.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to this gym for around a year and can highly recommend it. The staff are friendly, personable and knowledgeable (especially Kathryn!) and the facilities are excellent. There is a great range of equipment and it never gets too busy to work out. I love the fact it is 24 hours as this makes fitting going to the gym round your life and work much easier. Another great feature is that after your first month of membership you can get into any other Anytime Fitness gym around the world. Having personally walked straight into an Anytime Fitness gym in Auckland, New Zealand I can attest to how easy it is.
