Fantastic experience: Good atmosphere and with variations of machines, a plus is that it is open 24 hours

Positive experience: Great gym but overly popular during “peak times” either go just after 9am or 8pm for an experience of getting to a machine due to the number of people. Other than that is my favourite pure gym in Belfast

J'aime bien l'ambiance et le fait qu'il y ait de la place. Message pour les responsables : Est-ce que vous pourriez parfois ouvrir les fenêtres pour aérer un peu ...car cette odeur de plastique dû au revêtement de sol me monte à la tête...et ce serait bien aussi pour l' hygiène Pensez à mettre le spray pour nettoyer les machines à disposition je le cherche encore... A part ça, une machine pour faire travailler les fessiers serait un bon investissement. Y 'a beaucoup de choix pour le haut du corps mais pour les fesses ont fait comment ? Voilà Bisous

Negative experience: I have returned to the gym and discovered horrified that the indoors bikes have been changed! I come from the other side of the city just for using those bikes, as they are wide enough for my knees. The new ones are definitely less stable, the seat is wide but the treadles are not, which result in a horrible pain in my knee. Please, return the old ones!!!!!

Negative experience: The McDonald’s of gyms, it’s corporate and the equipment is good, but it’s jam packed most times and it’s clean yeah but gym etiquette is non existent with goers and staff…for eg not one dumbbell is in the right spot…like playing a game of snap trying to find a pair

Positive experience: Not bad for a quick gym on a stopover - I wouldn’t gym full time there - a bit lifeless.

Fantastic experience: Visited for the first time at 9pm and am highly satisfied with the range/ availability of equipment. Facilities are clean and appear to be sanitised regularly by staff. Other gym goers are friendly and won't hesitate to help you out if you don't feel 100% confident or need some support with form. Haven't been to gym for 3 years but thankfully there seems to be little judgement from other customers

Fantastic experience: Only started Pure Gym again after years of not using any. Booked a class at Adelaide Street but was unable to attend as it had to be cancelled. I had gym fear about using the equipment instead of the class. One of the staff, Stephen gave me great advice and showed me how to work the machines and I was able to crack on. Really positive experience with the staff being so helpful.

Positive experience: Super great gym, was visiting belfast for a week and their 3 day pass was affordable and helpful, especially because of the 24 hour open time. Staff are very helpful. Lots of free weights, machines, and treadmills. Only two stairmasters, but not a huge deal. There are locking doors to get in, and chaning rooms require code at night, very safe. -Free wifi constantly says "connected with no internet," not huge issue if you focus more on working out then wasting time -Only water available with a day pass is a water fountain with extremely low water pressure. You need the "extra" pass to get access to the water/sport drink dispenser -Only one floor has rag and cleaner for the machines -bathroom quite dirty, and you need to pay to use the scale.

Positive experience: All seemed to work okay, but website wasn't helpful. Missed a day on my 3 day pass because it started from day paid rather than next which is annoying. I did email to ask but didn't get a response. Gym was good though albeit busy but that's because there competitively priced. Plenty of weights and, cabled and cardio available. I was in Belfast for a couple of days and wanted rmto maximise my time there so missing a day again... not helpful. Maybe someone could get in contact and I could see what Cambridge is like???

Negative experience: Been going here back and forth for a few years now , maybe 4 years ago I'd rate it 4.5 but as the gyms in Belfast have advanced it's 2 stars max on a good day compared to other gyms this one is falling behind on equipment hardly any new equipment has been added in the last few years compared to the JD gyms especially glute machines poorly layed out also ... Cable machine often have no handles bathrooms fkn stink no spray ! Scales come and go and the music is horrendous

Positive experience: It's a two-story gym with plenty of equipment and space to work out. The changing rooms for men and women are well-maintained and have showers. Good.

Negative experience: I like PureGym but this one is very busy and the staff don't seem to put any effort into tidying the dumbbells making it often hard to find the right weight or two that match

Positive experience: One set of dip bars on three floors, one bench press bench between 3 floors of a busy busy gym, but if you can find something else to do while machines are hogged by people chilling on their phones it’s not too bad. Plenty of space and cardio equipment.

Fantastic experience: Great gym , friendly staff

Negative experience: I will not lie, I am always in Belfast for the last 3 years and always went to PureGym at Adelaide st but my last experience was terrible. A group of 3 guys working at puregym as personal trainers were talking about me and laughing - I felt very uncomfortable and couldn’t believe that was happening. I have 2 girl friends that went in different days and also experienced that kind of behavior recently from the staff - unacceptable

Positive experience: I go to this gym late at night/very early in the morning; I feel safe and secure. It's generally tidy and i get what i currently need for my fitness journey. I leave 6am when the hulks come in and start banging weights on the bottom floor and I can hear them on other floors. Negatives - no water on the top floor.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant gym. Been a member here for over 10 years. PTs are terrific and helpful! Defintely recommended.

Positive experience: Staff, location, and price are great. Way oversubscribed though so the free weights and machines on second floor are almost impossible to access if you have a set workout plan. Cardio area okay for access. Lack of attachments for machines. Same issues at all PureGym locations in Belfast so I’m guessing the issues stem with corporate management as opposed to location staff.

I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a gym based in the city centre, as there are plenty of facilities, just has everything you’d need for a gym. But if anyone has control over the gym playlist, please please please could you remove the awful ‘squid game remix’ track. It is absolutely grating to listen to and I hear it every time I’m in the gym lol. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: Best gym in NI

Negative experience: The gym is probably very pleasant for a very casual gym goer, someone new to the gym or somebody who needs 24 hour availability. I joined from a much smaller less commercial gym. I was shocked that a gym expecting so many people had only 1 bench press (not counting Smith machines) 1 sled leg press, 3 squat racks (still not counting Smith machines), 1 dead lift mat and no hack squat. I felt very unsettled by the 1984-esque inclusivity announcement that would play seemingly every half hour. I committed the sin of dead lifting 130kg and was stared at by the whole gym whenever the weight would hit the mat. In my last gym nobody would care about 130 as they'd lift heavier. All in all not for a serious gym goer or somebody that has high goals or ambitions. And your own music is a must as the music choice in the gym is poor, plus that soulless announcement.

Negative experience: staff and PTs as super rude with people who are not paying a PT. I took a pic of myself, no one else in the background, and I was super rudely forced by a pt to remove it because you cannot take pics in the gym!! toilets are FILTHY buy you cannot take your shoes off to do deadlift with 120kg by the way

Fantastic experience: 3 floors of exercise: weights is on a separate for to cardio and there is also a mix use floor with classes and personal tuition. Very clean and all equipment was in good state of repair.

Negative experience: Cheap membership and good location Safe and non-intimidating atmosphere Clean and equipment is well kept They need more water stations. The only water station is on the ground floor which is a nuisance if you are training on the 3rd floor Weigh in machine in the ladies NEVER prints a ticket - don't waste your money on it Shower cubicles are impractical as they are tiny No classes before 7am which is unusual for a PureGym Decent enough gym if all you want is a quick in and out

Positive experience: Pros: - Great facilities - Helpful staff - Everything you would expect from a gym - Affordable Cons: - It can get very crowded - There are only 3 racks/olympic bars - The fans aren't great in the summer (although I know this issue is being looked into)

Fantastic experience: The best gym I’ve ever been to.. its the one gym that works around your schedule, so literally day or night you can go at any time with 24/7 access. Friendly atmosphere and overall really good gym to be a member of.

Negative experience: Unfortunately I have been trying to contact this gym for 5+ days via a contact number from a card picked up at the gym and from three email addresses connected to this particular gym. I noticed 18 hours ago the owner of the gym responded to a review, it is possible the owner isn't involved in responding to the emails associated with the company but my contact with the gym is a matter or urgency and concerns directly myself but has wider implications for the Puregym community at that address. I have left my contact number at each of the email addresses and hopefully contact can be made today. Ger

Fantastic experience: This Puregym is pretty big and machines are deployed in 3 levels which makes easy the social distance. It's clean and tidy and while I was working out there was a PT cleaning common areas

Negative experience: Modern equipments . Need personal training in low cost . Listed cost is too much for personal trainer. To add one more experience is not up to he mark . There is drop out juice installed in gym but that is not working . I mean it's giving normal water rather than flavour selected . Also machine is not working properly

Positive experience: Its a standard gym,some of the pt in there are quite unfriendly, dont go at peek times you will not get on most of the stuff.

Negative experience: Nevermind the number of people exercising at once, the facilities are poorly maintained in terms of hygiene, toilets are really dirty and stinky.
